I have always come to this location for my quick car services. Even though I have moved to Semmes, I still bring my cars here. I called at 1 on Saturday to see if they could fit me in to check/change brakes if we were there by 3pm (they close at 4 on Saturday). Richard said yes I’ll have the parts ready when you come. They were there until almost 5 finishing my car. I highly recommend this Precision Tune. Honest and friendly people.

If you don't want to end up wasting time having to take a business to small claims court, I wouldn't take your vehicle here... We went in for a ball joint replacement. They told us it needed two new ball joints and new front rotors and brakes. We agreed to the work. Then they informed us after they complete the work, the car will need an alignment BUT they don't do those.. Three days later, they called to say the truck was ready. It BARELY made it the 1.5 miles home. It was so incredibly dangerous to drive I cannot believe that they would send a customer away in that expecting them to live to make it to an alignment. We had to end up having it towed for the alignment. The shop that did the alignment commented that the work they did was definitely not good...but as long as we weren't having issues it should be fine. The next time the truck was driven, it went less than 100 miles before the front right side completely failed, and the truck ran off of the road. The entire front end was essentially melted. We called a trusted mechanic in another state and sent videos, and he concluded whomever did the brakes likely over-tightened the bearings. We had Precision tow the vehicle to their shop. We went up there to speak to them about the vehicle and asked that they get us a rental truck so that we could continue our business, but they refused. They stated they didn't have enough cash in the drawer for a rental, but I'm not sure how that is relevant when rental companies do not accept cash... They called the next day and left a voicemail that they needed to order a front hub assembly for the vehicle, and it would be here the next day (today). We contacted them, again asking for help with a vehicle, since them messing up the work in the first place is the reason we were without our truck, and were told that they would get us a vehicle for 1 day (today), since the truck would be finished by the end of today. I never heard back, nor did we get a rental. Additionally, they just called at 3pm the day the truck is supposed to be ready, and are now denying that they are responsible for the issues. They are now trying to charge over $1k to fix what THEY messed up that 2 mechanics have confirmed they messed up. My question is... if they looked the entire vehicle over the first time we took it in, and we gave them permission to fix everything they found wrong, and the truck was only driven for 100 miles before the area they did their work had issues, and they were willing to tow it AND order parts for it after looking it over.... but THEN they decide they can't fix it????? I believe the denial for responsibility is coming as retaliation for me contacting their corporate office when the manager of the store was unwilling to help and raised his voice multiple times. We will be disputing the charges with our bank for the faulty and dangerous work that was performed initially, as well as taking them to court for the costs associated with getting the vehicle drive-ready again, and the time/money lost for now being without our vehicle over 7 business days and the hassle associated with trying to get them to do the right thing. Please avoid this business at all costs. Majestic on Airport will take great care of you, as will Franklin Automotive. Really anyone but these guys.

Love this auto shop! Mr Richard and his team installed front rotors and brake pads for me about a month ago and was only there for less than 2 hrs and was charged fairly and then I made an appointment for an oil change this Friday morning and was literally out in 45 mins with a complimentary inspection on services that would be needed,but without the pushiness like when you go to your dealership and they remove everything and upcharge you for every little thing. If you're looking for quality and efficient service this is definitely the place.😁

Came for my steering wheel , paid over $600 for it , they drove my car and it ran outta gas , came back they said my car was fixed and they blew a gasket and told me I had to pay 3000 . Mind you the gasket blew in there care. Will be reporting to cooperate and lawyers involved . TERRIBLE attitude from the manage at this store and had to call police because he would not give me the names of the people who worked on my car !

Tried to charge me $650 to replace my battery and one headlight. The headlight replacement was $162 alone. So just the new battery and installation would’ve been over $450!!! I said nevermind I’ll do the headlight myself and took it to Walmart and got it all done for $153 lol won’t be back here due to them trying to overcharge me. I feel like i probably overpaid for my previous repairs as well because they probably think i don’t know what I’m doing or talking about so they try to overcharge and take advantage of me. No thank you, $450 for one battery is insane.

This was my 3rd trip back to Richard. The past experiences were great. This one however wasn't as I expected. Instead of telling me he couldn't find the part for my which was a fuel vapor line, he wrapped it in flex tape, basically which looked like black electrical tape, knowing dam well the gas would leak out of if. Told me it was just fumes when I clearly showed him its leaking and wet. Then proceeded to get an attitude over the phone and Charged me $70 for this service. I had called and he said bring it back but u do no i cant find the part I'll fingagle something.. yes my car is rare and parts are not made for it anymore but within 4 days of researching i found the part on ebay and the husband fixed it! Like if he new he couldn't fix it the proper way y didn't he say this. No instead he taped it and proceeded to charge me for it. Slimy business. I will not b back!

Could not recommend a place less. After taking 4 days to even get a diagnosis on the car, they left the cap to the radiator off AND didn’t put the air filter back in which caused me to spend a few hours on the side of the interstate after overheating the car. Truly impressed by how inexperienced these mechanics are
