I have an endurance car warranty. I ended up at Precision Auto Tune because it was the only place in Opelika that my car warranty works with. I had a check engine light, low coolant warning, and a tire pressure light on. I arrived at 8am as soon as they opened on Friday 11/21. I checked in, explained the problem, and handed over my keys. I then left and went to work. I received a call about an hour later and they explained that a sensor needed to be changed and they could have the part there within an hour and my car would be ready to pick up at lunch. I went at 12:30 to pick up my car assuming it would be ready. It was not. They explained they had been busy and my car got pushed back so it would be ready by 4pm. I was aggravated but the 4pm time still worked for me and my evening plans so I left and went back to work. I arrived back at 4pm to pick up my car and was given the same speech about my car repair being pushed back and it would be ready by 6pm now. They told me they had the part and it would only take half an hour to install. I told them 6pm didn’t work for me and my ride had already left. They said they would pull it back immediately and get the part put on. At 5:30 it finally got pulled around to the front, ready for me to take home. I paid my bill and walked out to my car excited to finally be heading home. I turn my car on and the dashboard was still lit up like the 4th of July. I turned it off, walked back in there and told them that the light is still on. They take my car back to the bay and I take a seat back in the waiting room. Not long after a tech comes in from the shop and puts a part on the counter and says “we put the wrong sensor on the car. This is an A1 and we need an A2.” They must’ve thought I was deaf and couldn’t hear this conversation. About 10 minutes later the salesman comes over to me and asks me if I can call a family member to come get me or if he needs to call me an Uber. I asked why. He proceeds to tell me that the sensor they put on my car was faulty and they would have to replace it but couldn’t get the part til tomorrow. Great. I’ve already been without my vehicle all day, had to call in back up to make sure my kids got picked up from school AND had to call someone to bring me to this shop TWICE. I called my husband to come pick me up. I was so irritated but I stayed very calm and I wasn’t ugly to anyone. They had told me multiple times they appreciated how patient and understanding I had been. I finally got my car back on Saturday 11/22. There was grease all over the inside and outside of my driver side door. I didn’t even say anything because I don’t want them touching anything else on my car. And the fact that they couldn’t just be transparent and tell me they put the wrong part on but they were making it right also doesn’t sit right with me. When I picked it up they also let me know that they had replaced some wiring that had gotten “pinched” and they replaced two sensors instead of one “at no additional cost to me.” Puh-lease. Y’all should refund me the $200 I paid yall because what technician doesn’t check and make sure the check engine light is gone before returning the car to the customer??? Including pictures for proof. Please save yourself a headache and do not take your car here.

Horrible experience, I brought my vehicle in for a coolant leak on the right side of my vehicle. They did a full diagnostic found the leak and told me that they fixed it and charged me $2,300 dollars. I got the vehicle back and as I’m leaving their shop going home I smell coolant. I get home and notice it’s leaking from the same exact spot, meaning they never fixed it. I took it back and even spoke with the new manager and he told all kinds of stories about this and that with his own personal vehicle but offered no solution to this situation. They even had the audacity to say we can fix this leak (same leak) for an additional $1100 dollars. I returned and got my vehicle. I will be seeking legal assistance on this matter. This place is a con place, meaning they don’t fix what they claim to fix or if they do then they will have something else to tear up so you can bring it back in so they can collect more coins.

We had a very bad oil leak that had been identified at Walmart 3 months before when my 72 yo mom had her oil changed there. She had been faithful with 3 to 6 month oil changes for the last 8 yrs with the same car at that same Walmart. They "noted" it on her receipt but were so careless and neglectful they did not verbalize it to her! She happened to check her oil and it was bone dry, her car could have blown up! We were referred to Percision when this horrible leak issue was recognized and we can not THANK the technican and each person involved in the experience that same day arriving in distress and concern! We had excellent care, hospotality, service, accomodations while waiting, explaination of the issue and pricepoint! My mom will be returning to Percision for her future oil changes and auto service needs in the future! Top knotch on every level, the tech even gave my mom a hug and said if you are ever concerned just pull up and blow and I will come out and tend to your concern you won't even have to get out of your car! They actually care about the human they are working for/ with and not treating you just like a number with no value or respect for your safety nonetheless. 5 STARS all the way!

This repairs shop has a huge potential to earn your business. They are highly trained mechanics and the warranty offered is a clear sign of quality. Yes, we know that cars are not cheap to fix these days, but this team has the potential to keep your car on the road through quality repairs for the same money others are scamming you. With cost of living going up on a yearly basis now, this team is performing auto services that would not send you to others to fix, quality wise. The estimates are in electronic format with live recording of your vehicle and a short animated video explaining the issue, impact on the vehicle and the repairs process. This speaks volumes. An educated customer is a loyal customer. Trust is the most fragile stage on any service business. Just like an egg, you can only break once. I have started the relationship and willing to return. I see a well trained team of mechanics, warranty, transparency and openness to listen to and work with me to properly repair my vehicle. The glass is half full. Not have empty. It is a business near my community and I decided to play my role in being a patron. No one is perfect. I like Mr. Cody and his business friendly interaction during the time my car was in for repairs. I am not a family member but I may become a friend. They earned it.

I own an appliance store and we have several vehicles our workers use for delivery. We took one of the vehicles here for a simple fix & when we got the vehicle back there the simple fix wasn’t fixed at all. In a matter of fact they made new issues come up and it’s utterly ridiculous how this company is scamming people out of money. They claim to fix the issue but don’t fix and causes new issues just to keep customers coming in rotation. If you do not want to waste money and time DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

Called ahead to see if they were capable of servicing my 2020 BMW M5. They said they could handle most any issue and told me I could bring it in right away. When I arrived they got it in right away and performed a complimentary inspection while I waited. They took me out in the shop and one of the master tech’s fully explained the needed repair as well as showed me what was going on. We have now moved our business to this shop! Talking to Rae on the phone, she was so kind and knowledgeable in addition to the mechanics. Diagnostics were run and double checked that the work done by another shop was accurate. As a student I needed a trusted shop and they take care of you sending an uber to come get you and take you to the shop. It was a very seamless process.
