Worse than awful! I had been to this store several years back and was very happy with the service. Also had work done on my Saturn VUE at the nearby store on south Durango street. Again I was very happy there (I even wrote a positive review) with both the service and professionalism of the staff. So, I was confident that things would be the same as before. They were not! I was met in the office by an unfriendly, almost surly, mechanic doing the office work. I asked for the usual oil change and smog test and told him that my Check Engine light was on. I had just replaced the gas cap and hoped that things had improved. He took the keys and a few minutes later came back to tell me that I failed the smog test (which of course I expected); I asked him if he thought it was the gas cap which I just replaced. He replied, with a manner of a bored pushy adult talking to children, that only a Diagnostic Test (about $50) could answer that. I agreed to the test and sat down in the office to wait. Time passed. Lots of it! A very long wait. The office was filled with large advertisements for financing what were clearly expensive repairs (naturally a depressing sight). Yes, there were other customers but only a very few, so it seemed odd that the wait was so long for a diagnostic test. Almost 2 hours later, and after asking a newly arrived office worker if the test was over with, I was given a printout by the surly mechanic who told me in a mildly threatening tone that the necessary repairs (“If I wanted to pass the smog test”, as if I didn’t) would be about $800 (see picture below). But he would waive the $49.99 ‘diagnostic’ fee, if I did the repairs. If the ‘diagnostic’ took 2 hours, I wondered how long the repairs would take. Since I had waited a very long time and had lost my trust in him, I said no. He then yelled to another mechanic in the back, “Ship it!” Is that code for something? So I paid for the oil change, the Smog test (which used to be differently priced before, if you failed) and the ‘diagnostic’ which told me that I had an emission problem, something which was self-evident. I left feeling that I was nearly ripped off by a dishonest business and fortunate that it wasn’t a total nightmare. There was NO diagnosis that there were some other issues with the car, like insufficient radiator coolant and other small issues. Some diagnostic! I then took my car to another mechanic who, when he opened the hood, exclaimed, “Who worked on your car”. He pointed to an emission hose that was cut (see picture). Cut! I told him where I was and he said that what he saw was malicious tampering, not automotive work. He fixed my emission problem and I passed the smog test for far less than the so-called diagnostic. Never again will I go to that business for any service, nor will I allow anyone I have any influence over. Shame on that store and shame on the parent company!

If there were a masterclass in how not to run an automotive repair shop, this establishment could be the case study. The workmanship is as fleeting as their promises, and any notion of a warranty here is more myth than policy. When their repairs fail — as they inevitably do — the reflex is not accountability, but a swift and practiced shift of blame onto the very customers who entrusted them. Precision, professionalism, and integrity seem to be entirely absent from their toolkit. I would advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere, unless you enjoy paying premium prices for problems you didn’t have before walking through their doors.

Don’t go to this place they change my car oil they put too much oil in the car. They supposed to change the air filter and cabin air filter. They charge me but they didn’t put it on. I went to Jeffrey Loop and they told me there is no filter on the engine, which is very dangerous for Engine.

Worst place ever! Went down to Purrfect auto for a smog, and the technician that was working on my vehicle ruined my fenders! After I witnessed the technician ruin my fenders I went to go ask if they can get it fixed, and was told from Randy that it would get fixed and covered by them. I was told that I was going to get contacted for an appointment to get it fixed and they never contacted me back! When I went to confront them they said that it was taking a while to get a reply back by the higher ups (Raul). I proceeded by asking for the number of Ralph’s so I can get it done sooner in which I did and so I contacted Raul and he asked for pictures and what service they did and then never replied back after I messaged him everything then I call a few days later and he said it will not be covered by them and that there is no proof of them working on my vehicle!!!! Bunch of scamming scumbags!

i’m came down to purrfect auto looking to get my smog check for my upcoming registration renewal. i did come about 20mins before closing and was well aware that i could be turned away. which was unfortunately the case, i was having a pretty bad day and did get emotional in my car. i assume maybe the manager saw me in my car and offered to do my smog check for free. he was very sweet about the entire situation and he did not at all have to offer me a free smog check. it was quick and great service i was in and out! thank you guys very much :)

I came here for essentially a bundle service for replacement of fluids such as transmission, brake and power steering. They have me a very fair price for which is already a good deal compared to the dealership services. Additionally, the staff was incredibly friendly, all of them! I spoke with the front office person, the manager and the mechanic who worked on my car and they all were extremely Pleasant. Additionally, five stars for being open on Sunday! There waiting room provides water, coffee and air conditioning so I wouldn't say is lavking at all!

Great price on oil changes and it comes with a tire rotation. The smog used to be $9.99 but it is now $19.99. I was quoted about an hour for the oil change.

Don't have any service done here. Mechanics are carless and it's a potential hazard. All I wanted was an oil change and a smog. Price wasn't an issue, the issue was it took them 3.5 nearly 4 hours to do the services. After waiting in the lobby for about 10 minutes I begin to smell cigarettes, then I realize the mechanics working on the cars hovering over the engine with flammable liquids are smoking. After noticing the they are smoking while hovering over my engine I begin to question how competent these people are. The outside of the garage is littered with cigarette butts everywhere and I felt compelled to call the fire department before something happens. Aside from the cigarettes, while my oil was being changed they spilled oil all over my engine and have the nerve and audacity to tell me I have a few leaks. I'm like... bro I watched you do this, you got oil all over my engine so much so my engine started smoking while burning the spilled oil. Go somewhere else, pay the extra dollar so that this doesn't happen to you.

0 Stars - Don't go to this place #888 for an oil change or any other issues with your car, they pressure you to make unnecessary and unwanted repairs. I have been getting an oil change several times and each time they insist I spend money on unnecessary replacement parts and repairs. Every time they insist I get struts for $1800, there is nothing wrong with the struts of my SUV just the rubber boot is torn. I have been driving for 45 years and know the mechanics of a vehicle, they assume you are stupid and suppose to fall for their scam. On 10/11/2025 they tried to force me to have the work done or don't come back, what kind of mob crap is that. No worries I will NEVER come back!!!!!!

Zero rate .. very Bad service. Brought the car for a squeaky sound to get diagnosed and they saw a lot to repair. I agreed with the repair and after 4 months same squeaky sound came back so I came back for the warranty. 1st Saturday I went, after waiting for 3 hours they said they don’t have the part and just come back next day. Then I came back next Saturday and they said that it is not the part that they replaced before so I have to pay again for the new part. My car was there from 9 am and I came back at 3 and still not done. Ridiculous service.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I went here. This is the type of place that gives car repair shops a bad name. I called and got an estimate for the parts. Of course, when I got there, I was told my car would need to be “inspected.” I was given two options for the parts, but of course the cheaper option didn’t “guarantee” that the problem would be fixed. If I went with the cheaper option, and it didn’t work, then they would have to order the more expensive option, which meant I would have to wait twice as long. So rather than waiting, I chose the more expensive option which was 30% higher than what I was originally quoted on the phone. I was also told that during the inspection they discovered that I needed my car serviced including oil change and filter. Mind you, my car had thoroughly been serviced at the dealership just a couple months ago. Not even the dealership uses tactics like this. Also, I’m pretty sure the woman working the front desk hates people. Overall, it just wasn’t a pleasant experience and I definitely won’t be going back here.

I brought my car in for a simple issue and was told several additional problems needed attention. From the start, I felt pressured to leave the vehicle at the shop for multiple days, and I didn’t feel I was shown a clear explanation of the diagnoses. The quote I was given changed once the work began, and the final bill was significantly higher than the original estimate. I was charged a card processing fee without being informed of it upfront, which added to my frustration. Throughout the process, communication was inconsistent, and I didn’t feel I had good options outside of agreeing to their assessment. Overall, I left dissatisfied with the service and would recommend getting a second opinion before proceeding—or seeking a shop with clearer pricing and better communication.

On 12/19/2024, I delivered my transmission for my 2013 Porsche Panamera V6 RWD, Pearl White, Platinum Edition, for repair. Eight to nine days later, a tow company delivered the car to the same location. I met the manager, Justin Bradlye who told me he would start working on my car after the holidays. I paid $2,000 upfront for the job with my AMEX. Personally, I didn’t like paying before any work was done, but I proceeded because another manager, Mike (district manager), quoted me $2,000 for the entire job, including swapping the transmission and programming. I provided all the necessary fluids and parts, including the transmission. Weeks went by, and each week Justin told me the car would be ready the following Saturday, but it never was. They couldn't find anyone to program the car, and even though I tried to help by suggesting people who could do the job, it wasn’t my responsibility. I continued to follow up, and finally, I got Mike on the phone. He reassured me that my car would be finished by Saturday, 01/25/2025. However, nothing happened, and to make matters worse, Mike blocked my number. On 01/27/2025, I went to the shop and saw both Justin and Mike there. Mike approached my car and told me that the transmission I provided was broken. I found this hard to believe after 5-6 weeks of delays. I confronted him about not answering my calls, and he just laughed. I then told him that at least I knew what he looked like, since I had never met him before. At that point, he started yelling at me to get out of my car. I noticed he had a gun on his belt. I was scared and left immediately. This situation has been unprofessional and distressing. After all this time, they are now claiming that the transmission I provided was broken. I have reported the incident to the DMV and BBB (Better Business Bureau). I’ve requested my car back, a full refund, and the return of my original transmission and the one I provided. Please, people, do not do business with them. I have already contacted FOX News Las Vegas, and soon you’ll be seeing this story on FOX5 News with Dave Hall. Today is 01/31/2025 now you can see pictures, they are charged me storage fee $325.00 its gonna be good news on FOX5.

I always went here and had amazing service. Always thought it was an honest place. I took my son's car here recently and they gave us quotes in many things. So I thought maybe some of the stuff was from a previous car shop that we had been to named Busy Buggy. We were only getting an oil change at Perfect Auto since we wanted burritos at Habinaros and we could do both since it's close to each other. They said we needed a Steering wheel pump and was needing a lot of various things. So I wanted Busy Buggy to make sure there was maybe something under warranty. I showed them the paperwork and we DID NOT HAVE A STEERING WHEEL LEAK AT ALL. I MADE THEM CHECK TWICE !!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT !!!!!! I am SO DISAPPOINTED !!!!! They also had so many other things listed to be fixed that Busy Buggy never even said it needed. So that will be the last time unfortunately that I trust going there . :(

Came in to get a part installed for emissions test compliance, the guy in charge (Chevy) brought me into the garage and showed me what needed to be fixed over time. I had a very pleasant conversation with him and walked away feeling like he cares about me and my vehicle’s well being. I know that going to the mechanic is stressful and can sometimes be expensive, and it’s especially frustrating when, like myself you have no understanding of modern automotive technology. Chevy helped me figure out a plan of action for getting my car back to tip top condition, and he inspired me to keep a great car and maintain it instead of selling it “because it’s getting old”.

I honestly cant say enough good things about Chevy and his team. My challenger only comes here or the dealer. I have life time warranty on my car and hes always triple checking that they are doing everything to follow manufacturers regulations. I know that not all the purrfect auto locations offer the same experience but I HIGHLY recommend giving this location a try.

***Customers beware***I brought my vehicle here to have an oxygen sensor replaced and provided the replacement part myself. The shop charged me labor for the installation. After leaving, I went to get the vehicle smog tested and it failed due to the same oxygen sensor issue, which immediately raised concerns. I then took the vehicle to another shop, where they inspected it and confirmed that the oxygen sensor had never been replaced. Before-and-after photos clearly show that the original sensor remained on the vehicle after this shop supposedly performed the work. To make matters worse, the oxygen sensor that I purchased and provided to them for installation was never returned to me. Because I was charged for work that was not performed and my part was not returned, I have filed a separate formal complaint with the Nevada DMV Compliance Enforcement Division. I also have documentation and photos showing the condition before the visit, after the visit, and the malfunction still present. Customers should verify that the work they pay for is actually completed.

I have always had a pleasant experience at this shop. Whether it’s an oil change or car repairs, they always do an excellent job and get my car back to me in a timely manner. Special shoutout to Julie at the front desk and Chevy in the shop for providing exceptional customer service and showing me what needs to be repaired on my car, rather than just telling me. The prices are also outstanding for what is provided! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend this shop, this is the only place I trust.
