The customer service here prevented me from even advancing to the point of spending a dollar. In all fairness, I gave them 2 chances to earn my business with 4 years time between encounters. Both times I encountered Mike in Sales ("co-owner"). It literally took less than 2 minutes, both in person & on the phone, for his condescending & rude behavior to determine I would not do business with him if his services were free.

Went to Rays to buy timbren helper springs, before I paid I asked Mike if I was screwing up or if the timbren product would be the best way to go. He asked what I was putting them on and why, when I told him a welding truck and to keep the tires from rubbing, he very honestly and bluntly give me my answer (which I appreciate the straightforwardness)and explained that the timbren was a great product but was not meant for my application. I asked if he could get me in and out that day and he looked at the clock which read 1:10 and said yes. Added three leafs and re-arched the driver side to compensate for the weight difference and had me on the road by 4:30. Could have been 4 but I had to put my tools and stuff back on the truck. Rig rides like a Cadillac and holds the extra weight. I really appreciate Mikes straightforward advice! Saved me from spending my money and not being satisfied! The guys in the shop busted their butts and got it done right and in a timely manner!

Mike helped me out in the front office in there making 4 ubolts for the front end of my truck with a. 6.5 in lift I was sent the wrong nuts and was having trouble with it while driving down the road I haven’t mounted them yet but I have no doubt in my mind that they will bolt up and I’ll have no issues with my truck any longer! Mike if you see this thank you for the hat and all your knowledge

I could never recommend anyone going here. We made arrangements to have our new 5th wheel aligned. They had us drive around to the back and wanted us to back into the stall on the end. There was no driveway there. We had to back over a large curb with the trailer and then the truck. If that wasn't enough, we were driving over grass AND a manhole that was covered with a soft rubber cover. Our tire moved the cover and it began to slide sideways when we stopped. The men working there said they knew it was a problem but it's what they expected us to do. We said no and we drove away. This garage is dirty, unkempt and does not have up to date equipment.

We took our Grumman Olsen P42 Workhorse Mobile Christian Music Step Van to Ray’s Champion Spring for a front end alignment and Thank God that we did because while it was there Mike discovered leaking deteriorated/rusted rear brake lines which could have been a disaster and caused a serious accident if this had occurred on the highways. Thank God for this Professional and proactive team. They are very thorough, proficient, conscientious , professional, compassionate and patient. They got my truck ready the next day. Also thanks you Mike for your Kindness. God Bless you and your Pro team of awesome Mechanics. Richard & ZsjaZsja Gospel Nomads

I've had Ray's Champion Spring do work on two of my welding rigs. Each time I was very pleased. I found Mike Hawkins to be a man of integrity and honesty. I will continue doing business with him. If you want quality craftsmanship work done , this is the place to go. Thank you Mike

Been there several times for small repairs and front end work and every single time I got my truck back after it was “finished” there was something else wrong with it I.e. check engine light, random squeaking noises coming from the front end. They either didn’t install something correctly and had to redo the repair or the repair they did didn’t fix the issue so they end up charging me money for something that didn’t need to be done. The last straw was when I took my truck in for some vibrating in the steering wheel and break pedal and without calling me prior to an unauthorized repair, they decide to repair a part that was completely irrelevant too the problem I had. When I got my truck back the vibration was still there. Never going back again and I don’t recommend you either.

Dealt with Mike and Robin, they did an excellent job getting my International Durastar back on the road. Once all the parts arrived, they turned it around in three days (axle swap, kingpins, brakes & align). Thanks Mike. I was recommended them by our mechanic back home in Houston. Great job.

Worst service ever! Went in because they were the closest warranty dealer for my toolbox. The very nice older lady up front pages Mike who was a total prick. I asked if they could look at my toolbox real quick and let me know if they think it's a warranty thing or if it would be on me. He told me to come back next Friday and they could look at it (I went in on a Friday) I told him I could come back next week to drop it off but would appreciate 3 min in the parking lot to let me know and be told me that they didn't have time to come out in the parking lot until next Friday and it would be even later until they would get to work on it!!! Also he said I would have to pay labor to install it but the manufacturer said that labor was paid by them so I feel like they are scamming and double dipping!

We had tried several shops to get the vibration out of our RV with no success. We were finally sent to Ray's Champion Spring and Motor and it was repaired perfectly. Mike at Ray's gives excellent customer service and they know what they are doing. I would highly recommend this company.

Great front end and suspension work. Best in Fort Worth. Mike, service supervisor can hop from lie to lie with the best of them. Told the BBB one thing, American Express another. If you have work done at Ray's check your vehicle and their work, and get your old parts, BEFORE you sign the invoice. You are signing that their work was correct and that just cost me $2500 that it shouldn't have. Always get a read on your OBD if you are taking it to Ray's for check engine, or take it somewhere else. I'd get a prior opinion on front end work too, honesty in estimates not looking so good over that way. But they do good work. Eventually.

Came in to order new leaf springs for my 1955 Oldsmobile 98 Deluxe Holiday Coupe and met Mike. He discussed my options and recommended that I let him correct the new springs I had previously purchased from a different vendor rather than spend a lot more money by him making me a new set. It doesn’t get more honest than that. Mike had me drop off the springs with Josh who by the way was kind enough to explain the process by which he would be correcting the problem with my leaf springs. Great place to do business. Knowledgeable staff, quick service and Mike’s honesty is very much appreciated.

Everyone was super friendly n helpful. I dropped off my springs to change bushings but also talked to Ray about some recent changes in using my truck and he suggested adding 2 leafs each side. Truck sits exactly how I want it.

I am giving one star because of customer service in the shop was very rude to me today. I agreed for $45 to have them diagnose if I needed leaf springs or new springs in my struts that already had new shocks front and back put on by Ford. They were already mad at me for asking to talk to the mechanic who drove my truck before I made any decisions.. I decided to wait on everything and was gonna pay my $45. They told me I owed $171. I said for what You didn’t do anything. They told me that I was using too much of the mechanics time.. well that’s not my problem. I was just trying to figure out what’s wrong with my truck. Management could have told the mechanic to take less time or not talk at all and someone like your shop Foreman who makes that decision and help me and drive the truck. It seems your own processes inside your company are not working and then you’re getting mad at a customer who just wants to know if there’s an issue with his truck! I wanted to know maybe I could split it up and do the front now and the back later since it was so expensive at $2000. I told the blonde haired lady that I would not come back. This is as honest as I can be about what happened. The sad thing is I felt like the mechanic was super nice and wanted to do a good job for me. But they have lost me for life as a customer. Additional thoughts - One problem that could have gotten them on edge was that when the mechanic drove the truck for the first time it was written up wrong saying that there was a noise in the front end. I never said that! So when I talked to the mechanic he had to go drive it again and see what the problem was.
