Extremely friendly and honest. I had my car towed in with a blown engine they told me immediately what was wrong with it the same day and also help me find a way to sell it to where I didn't completely lose everything. Above and Beyond Service! The staff at Real Pro Auto Service was absolutely phenomenal! They went above and beyond to help me out during a stressful time. When my car had to stay in the shop, they made sure I wasn’t left stranded and set me up with a loaner car, such a lifesaver! I mainly worked with Eric, Bob, and Craig, and each of them were amazing,kind, professional, and truly caring. Got my oil pan replaced on my BMW 3 series here. Apart from a random misfire issue that happened after i got it replaced, **ended up just being new spark plugs, they told me my plugs were fine and they wanted $300 to look into the engine deeper** when I first picked up the car the cover that goes on the bottom of the car wasn’t bolted on properly and was dragging. Also after they looked into the engine they took off a bunch of covers and didn’t put them on properly, which i had to end up fixing myself. I do not blame them for the misfire issue, really just a coincidence the plug went bad right after the oil pan replacement. but for a $1700 job, i was disappointed in the service. Don’t take ur bmw here, they aren’t familiar with them i guess. got a pretty nasty scratch on my bumper right by the hood after them as well. my bumper has some rock chips already so i’m not really upset about it. but it seemed like everywhere i looked on my car i could notice something that they didn’t put back correctly. Lastly, they told me they would test drive it and see if it needs an alignment. they did not get an alignment done on it, and it needs one. the steering wheel is off center, i’m currently using another shop to get the alignment done and they told me during the oil pan job they didn’t align the “cradle” correctly so i would have to have that done as well. a very long review but in short, i will never be coming back here again and will steer anyone i know away from them. sorry.

One star. Because I took my vehicle thinking that they would pin point exactly what was wrong with my vehicle, end up with over $1k just for throttle body, and just to tell me that they thought that was the problem but they couldn’t figured out why the car kept stalling and engine shaking. I had to do my own investigation and it was just the gas pedal sensor. They had my vehicle for over a week and they couldn’t find the problem. Over $1k for throttle body! Ridiculous.

I was across the street at Speedway and my car was smoking and leaking badly. I called Real Pro Auto and had received great customer service from start to finish. I told them about my experiences with other mechanics being pushy and using things against me of not being knowledgeable in cars. The gentleman made sure to explain everything to me in great detail. They inspected and fixed my vehicle that same day and even brought me home while they worked on my vehicle. Price was a bit higher than I would like. But the transportation services and customer service and care included make up for that. I would highly recommend.

I’m giving one star because the additional charges beyond the diagnostic fee were not explained upfront. I agreed to have my car diagnosed under the impression that the diagnostic fee covered everything related to identifying the problem, but I was surprised when the final bill was more than double just for that. When I went to pick up my car, the first employee I spoke with said the $159 plus tax only covered an OBD diagnosis, and my new diagnostic fee total was $397. I later spoke with the manager, who was very friendly and respectful, but I had to explain that I’m a student before the bill was slightly reduced. I’d suggest being transparent about all potential diagnostic charges from the start.

My word. What can I say about Shawn and the rest of the staff… Awesome! I was two hours away dealing with my daughter’s car that totally quit on her, in the middle of 28th Street, while away at college. Not only were they up front and honest, but they showed compassion for my daughter’s situation by not charging extra on a two day diagnostic, and politely explaining that her car was not worth fixing for the amount needed to put into it. To top things off, they insisted that I was in no rush to remove the vehicle that ended up being two weeks in their lot before I was able to have it removed, all the while being so kind to my daughter as she made a couple of trips to gather belongings, and to say goodbye to her 16th Birthday present. Thank you guys for your great business practice, and being so professional.

We brought our vehicle in for a diagnostic because it had several issues and chose this shop based on its high ratings. After the inspection, we received a fairly expensive quote. We decided to get a second opinion and were quoted significantly less elsewhere for the same work. I am giving two stars because there were some positives, such as the convenience of scheduling online. However, the significant difference in pricing was concerning and ultimately why my rating is lower.
