They never called and updated me about my vehicle. I had to show up in person to get any kind of update. Then I asked them to take a look at an additional thing, and when I showed up to pick up my vehicle (finished or not) they didn’t tell me if they addressed that second issue. They were friendly and they got the (initial) job done but the customer service was NOT there. I expected updates/calls/estimates and got none. Instead, I had to show up in person to get any kind of answers.

My 17 year old daughter's truck wasn't driving right but I didn't know what was causing it so we so stopped by and after doing a trip inspection, they fixed it and the truck is driving BETTER THAN WHEN WE BOUGHT IT! <3 I'm extremely happy with the service and treatment AND they also were able to replace the headlights on her truck with very bright led lights that I feel much more confidante with her driving with at night <3 Red Barn Tires isn't just for tires <3

If you need car work in the RGV, this is where you go. Manny Sr/Jr are running a shop the way it should be run! Diagnosis at no cost, and it’s accurate. No upsells- just fixing what you came for and if it takes more to do they tell you honestly, and if it doesn’t they don’t just try to make a buck. They try to give your car back running right. That’s literally the goal. They get it: if they stick to that, the money will come. I bought a beach beater Jeep Commander in McAllen, and came here to get it running well enough to *also* make the 1000 mile journey home to the Midwest each winter. Exactly what it needed was done, and they fixed mistakes that the first place I tried made that seriously impaired the car. Every time, the labor and parts was completely reasonable. I wouldn’t take a single vehicle anywhere else in this area, and you shouldn’t either— you’d be making a mistake that will cost you time, money, and quality.

Excellent customer service. Best prices around Brownsville area and I went to look for 3 more places. They order Michelin tires and in 2 days they were there, ready to install. They called me to notify that the tires were at their place and ready to install when I have time. Completely satisfied with their service, only a matter of time of the quality of the tires. We live full time on the road in our 41' motorcoach (RV) and due to a discontinuance of the Goodyear tire model we'd always used we set out to search for a new tire manufacturer. Background item: a few months previous we needed assistance on our lot in Port Isabel and our rescue service recommended Red Barn Tires in Brownsville. Alex, one of their service fellows, came to our lot and helped change a failing tire. His pleasant demeanor and efficient assistance came to mind when we were looking for new tires all around. As a result, we dropped by their shop and talked to Rick Perez in sales. With his knowledgeable assistance and some on-line sleuthing on our part we found what we wanted and ordered seven (we carry a spare) bus-size tires for our rig. Coach tires don't wear out, rather they age out. Working with Rick he was able to find seven Hercules tires appropriate for our coach and had them shipped in. None was more than six months old which was critical to us as this coach has been our only home for nearly 29 years. We kept in contact with Rick for the next few weeks at which time he called to say our new tires had arrived. We wanted to make the trip from Port Isabel to Brownsville on a good weather day and Rick said, "No problem. Just give me a day or two warning beforehand." We did that and when we arrived he had already assigned two very efficient and friendly fellows, Kevin and Manuel, to do the job. He also explained to them that the coach was our only house and told them to get everything done without interruption. The entire process took about 2 1/2 hours start to finish and the cost was very reasonable. Finding a place with such a great team is difficult in our nomadic lifestyle but Red Barn Tires is the best we've found anywhere in the country in all our years on the road. We highly recommend Rick and his staff to everyone who needs tire services for any vehicle. Red Barn Tires is truly a five-star shop which we would have rated even higher if more stars had been available. Much thanks to Rick, Alex, Kevin, and Manuel for a job well done. We are truly happy campers. 'Nuff said.
