I have done business with Reece for 20 years. I depend on their honesty and acuracy. If it needs fixed they will fix it. If it is something that can hold off 6 months or longer they will let you know that too. No pressure here. Just the facts and straight up honesty. Good prices for the service and not enough praise for these long term employees!!!

I'll give one star for them at least being honest about how long it would take to look at my vehicle, two days, they are busy so if you're in a hurry don't bother. They basicly let me know that my truck was not up to standard of a vehicle they want to work on. They left me with only " it's an electrical problem and we can't fix it" oh and they suggested I take it to a place that wasn't even in business anymore, thanks for the help!!

Took my car to Reece Service Center because my check engine light had come on. $200 later, they decided I needed a new gas cap. It would have been $250 parts and labor, the price I was quoted on the phone (when I called them twice - no one ever called me,) but I didn't buy the gas cap from them. If that sounds like a good deal to you, Reece Service Center is the place!

I arrived around 8:30 am and they were already very busy. I needed them to check out some systems that were having problems, including an undeterminable metal or belt rubbing noise. They squeezed me in about 30 minutes later. My '97 Buick had a stick caliper, bad radiator and 213000 miles. The decission was made to find a newer car. Very helpful, professional and courteous. And he fixed what was immediately wrong with the radiator. All at a very reasonable price *****

Highly recommend these guys! Had a van that had the A/C compressor go out. After tearing it apart they determined it was going to be too costly for the age of the van. No charge. Since bought a newer vehicle. They've gotten me in quickly. Really affordable prices. Explain every detail. No tricks. Just good service. Love that they are locally owned.

Came over to my mothers on a Saturday all four tires are low so I come to Reese’s to hopefully use their air. They are closed 2 o’clock Saturday so I sit there Google a place to get air and the owner ,or what looked like maybe the owner shows up, opens the door, I ask can I please use your air and he says no we are closed . What’s wrong with people now days ? Is it just me? FYI just left Goodyear 3000 block of Bardstown Road. They were very very nice.

Reece Auto Service on Norris in the Highlands was the best car experience I've ever had. They were friendly, honest, gave me options, and were extremely quick. They are what everyone wants in a service shop. People always say things like "I don't like going to the dealer, if I just could find a mechanic I can trust"...I have, go to Reece Service, you will not be disappointed. I own older imports, and they have saved me significant time and money in relation to any alternative. I am recommending them to everyone I know.

Nothing but positive things to say. We are new to the neighborhood and were looking for a mechanic and wanted to keep our business local. We posted in a local Facebook group and the owner reached out in addition to being vouched for by others. Because of the personal outreach, we chose this mechanic. I bought my car in here after a check engine light went on. They told me what the problem was, told me the price and said they fixed it. I drove 10 min away and the light came back on again. They looked at it again and said "the oil just needed to burn off the sensor". When I signed up for my appointment, they took my address. When I dropped off my car a day early I said I was concerned because I was driving back to KC the next day. They knew they were sending my on over a 500 mile journey back home solo. My car broke down halfway home at 11pm. I called when I finally made it home and not only did Mike not believe it was me- maybe as a self defense tool (which added immensely to the frustration) he could not give less of a care and literally laughed over the phone as I was telling him what happened. This place has no morals, character or concern for their customers safety. I paid $477 for a job half done. My car was not fixed, I did not make it home safely, Mike refuses to admit and acknowledge it and I paid money for a job not done. If they did not know what was wrong I would hope someone with less arrogance would admit it and send me to another mechanic instead of risking my safety and their ego.

Reece Service Center is a reliable business that I have come to trust over the past few years living in the neighborhood. I have had a very positive experience with all work they have done on my vehicle. Recently, I had a part recalled and had to take my car to the dealership to get the recalled part replaced. While there, they gave my car a "courtesy check up" and brought me a list of items that required repair, including a "crack in the engine mount." I was told this could cause a lot of damage to my car if not repaired right away and they recommended having it done on the spot at a cost of $325. I declined and scheduled an appointment with Reece's. When I picked up my car from Reece's, I was told that 3 different mechanics looked at my car and someone drove my car and NO CRACK WHATSOEVER was found in the engine mount. The charge for this thorough check was $0. This information felt like such a gift to know that my car is safe and no repairs are needed. I am very grateful that I have found a reliable, trustworthy service center for my car; I HIGHLY recommend Reece's.

I took my old beater here for 8 years and only stopped because I moved out of the area. These guys are rockstars. They do quality work very quickly, give honest and accurate assessments of what work needs to be done, how necessary it is, and how much time/money it will take. When something like a tire patch fails quickly, they re-do it at no cost. They're very accommodating with scheduling, friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. I've never once felt like work took too long, cost too much, or wasn't well done. Don't take your car to a quik-lube shop to have some 16 year old break your oil filter for $300 if you live close enough to come here.

I brought my new to me car in for an inspection to make sure all was okay. Within 2 hours of dropping off I received a very detailed phone call which left me feeling like they took the task as important to them as it was to me. There were some maintenance things that needed to be done along with the back brakes so I was absolutely fine with them keeping overnight since they already had a full schedule. Just a few hours later I received a call saying I was all set. I was incredibly impressed. I was even told things to do later on and some other added informative information. They have definitely earned my ongoing business and recommendation to all that may ask for an honest auto service center that does great and efficient work.

Excellent neighborhood mechanic! I spoke w/ Dave at length about my 2012 Camry. He got me in the next day. Everything was explained well. No pressure for optional, less pressing services/repairs. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!
