I've taken some parts in to get washed, heads and flywheels to get surfaced. I've had buddies that build strong motors recommend them. If you need a good local machine shop, I'd give them a call! If you're not a mechanic, your mechanic might know these guys at a personal level. :)

The cylinder heads were quoted over a week and the block in a couple of days everything was completed and back to us in 4 business days. Amazing over delivery/under promise. I was referred to Reed's by my cousin who's involved in Sprint Car racing for some machine work...I didn't end up working with Scott, but he referred me to a shop better suited to doing the work I required. Reeds is a great machine shop, we’ve been using their services ever since day 1 of our shop opening. Scott never disappoints, he goes above and beyond all the other machine shops in my opinion. There are 4 auto machine shops within 10 miles of my house but I drive 30 miles to Bellingham to go to Reed's because Scott (the machineist here) is consistently undercutting the competition on pricing, passing the savings on to me! The auto machine work done here by Scott is excellent quality, generally the cheapest price I can find, and is a great deal! I recommend this place to anyone who needs great, fast results at a fair price. If you don't believe me, call a handleful of any other auto machine shops within 50 miles of Reed's and see how they will charge you $125 for a simple helicoil fix for a stripped hole while Reed's will charge you a fraction of that. I also highly recommended this place for head work and valve jobs! Again.... Simply better prices compared to other shops nearby!
