I needed a small clip for my sprinter radiator to get it back on the road. Mercedes would be a week to get it. NW European didn't stock it either, but they went in the back, found a used one for me and didn't charge for it. Thanks. I'll be seeing you again in the future.

I was told this was my only option for my older VW van that had electrical issues. They were very rude to me and kept the van for a few days. When I picked it up they had taken the battery out to check it ( which is unnecessary) deemed it fine , put it back in and charged me $330 for that. I had had the battery checked before at Whatcom Electric and had told them that. On top of all of that, I found a greasy paw print on the upholstery and outside door by the handle. I will never go back there!

We recently took our BMW to NW European Autoworks due to a check engine light. Initially, the valvetronic motor was replaced, but within a day, the "service engine soon" light came back on. We returned to the service center, and the engine computer was replaced. Unfortunately, the light reappeared again within another day. Despite these setbacks, Matt and his team worked tirelessly to diagnose the root cause of the issue. After a thorough investigation, they determined that the eccentric shaft needed to be replaced. In the end, Matt and his team made things right by giving us a discount on labor and ensuring the problem was fully resolved. Their dedication and commitment to excellent customer service were truly appreciated. If you're looking for a team that won’t give up until the job is done right, NW European Autoworks is a great choice.

We’d been dealing with a tire leak on our Sprinter van for a few days. A different shop we went to wasn’t able to help because they told us the threads in our hub were stripped and if they took the wheel off they’d have to replace the hub for $2,000 and they didn’t have the part so it would take 2 weeks. As we were passing through town we called the Mercedes which couldn’t fit us in and recommended we go to Northwest European Autoworks. And what a great recommendation! Matt and Chris got us in immediately. After looking at our wheel, their team was able to fix it without needing to replace the whole hub too. We even decided to do an oil change and replace our headlights too and I still saved over $1,200 vs what it could’ve cost me. It was absolutely the best result we could’ve hoped for. That’s the benefit of working with experts! I would definitely recommend them for anyone with a Sprinter. Thanks guys for all your help!

Matt and Ron are knowledgeable enthusiasts of many European autos. We took our 2018 Mercedes Sprinter to them to upgrade our rear suspension and it drives like a dream. They are easy to work with and loaned us a car to run errands while they worked on our rig. We are already telling other Sprinter owners to go see them. Ride On!

I was driving through and had an issue with my 2018 sprinter van. Called the shop and they got me right in. Diagnosed the issue within seconds and then informed me that Mercedes would fix the issue for free if I brought it down there. Didn’t charge me anything. Seemed like a really great and honest shop. Would 100% bring my sprinter back if I were up in Bellingham.

After looking around for good shops to work on my e34 525i some years ago and getting either incompetence(not understanding how a non electrical fuel mpg gauge works) or snobbish customer service at another local European dedicated shop, I came across nw European. After years of getting my bmws serviced there I have finally moved out of state, and all I can say is I was always happy with the service at nw European! The labor costs climbed significantly over the years, but I still valued the expertise and extensive knowledge of what might be going wrong, and the invaluable advice(one example, a complicated and fairly expensive repair was diagnosed spot on from very few symptoms). I'm sitting right now in my highly recommended e39, followup to my e34, and loving it. With both Matt, the face up front for years now who always was very helpful and straight to business with the right questions, and Ron the owner, you can tell their joy in European cars everywhere. This shop is a breath of fresh air and the only place I would consider taking a European vehicle in the NW.

Matt and his team are truly the best! I've owned Audi's for 15 years and took them to a different shop in town, but over the past couple of years, I felt like my questions and concerns weren't being addressed and the work became inconsistent. My boss takes his vehicles to NW European, so I decided to give them a try and I will never go anywhere else. The staff is knowledgeable and always makes sure I understand what is happening with my car, they are timely and efficient and genuinely care about their customers and their vehicles. It's such a pleasant experience working with them.

Great experience working with this crew on a pretty large job. They had the lowest quote of any of the other VW specialty shops I contacted buy not because they are some budget fly by night operation. Quite the opposite really. The shop was very clean and well organized. A+ for professionalism and customer service. The crew took the extra time to answer my questions and help assuage any concerns I had.

It’s not every day you get great service from a business that you haven’t even used yet. But Matt at Northwest European Autoworks took my phone calls about questions I had regarding a particular car that needed inspecting. He gave me some great advice on what to look for and how I should proceed with my purchase. Matt even called me to inquire on my progress! That’s 1st class service! I highly recommend this shop for your European auto repairs!

I've been taking my 2007 170 Sprinter to these guys for service since I purchased it in 2012. They have not only kept me on the road with scheduled maintenance and repairs of all kinds, they have also provided some "sprinter owner therapy" and advice about problems with my van when I have been far from home travelling. They love vans here and have a couple envy inducing examples owned by the staff. These vans can be heartbreaker's as they get older and they are expensive to maintain and repair but I think they are worth it as do many of the knowledgeable van guys at NW European. Recently I had an expensive "valley job" performed and upon getting my van back there was a very subtle and potentially subjective change in the start up cranking required. I acknowledged that it seemed different but was very difficult to quantify. NW European could have shined me, but Matt took it upon himself and his team of technicians to trouble shoot this for me and, I think, became a bit obsessive about solving this issue. Ultimately, Matt, and the capable mechanics were able to locate the issue, replace the necessary part and get me back on the road. When settling up the bill for the repair which could have been $1000s in diagnostic time I was charged for parts only. I don't expect treatment like this on the regular, and I am happy to pay people what they are worth. This was a unique situation, but for me deepened my trust for this shop. I was kind of blown away by the follow through and definitely by the more than fair treatment on the bill. Thanks NW European!

If you are looking for competent, honest help with your European auto repair or with your sprinter van conversion Ron and Matt are your folks. I met Ron at a local retailer in town on a Saturday morning. I approached him because of the sprinter van conversion he was driving and I was just starting a sprinter van conversion myself. He was very generous with his time and willing to show me his very cool van. This led me to his shop the following week where I met Matt. Matt has been an incredible sounding board and resource for me in my journey to convert my van. His willingness to share his knowledge has been priceless. I highly recommend NW European Autoworks.

Super impressed with their professionalism and honest repairs. They fixed something for $100, local dealership where I have extended warranty wanted $800+.

Owning a European car , especially a high end one like Porsche comes with mixed feelings. First is the joy of driving a well made machine, but second is the worry of repair and maintenance. I want to recommend without qualification Northwest European for their care of my cars. Elliott and Mat are knowledgeable service professionals and the mechanics perform the job right the first time, and their prices are very fair. It is worth the drive from Anacortes, I can’t thank them enough.

We took our 2003 158wb dodge sprinter van to NW European Autoworks during our roadtrip in the PNW. We experienced a broken transmission mount and bracket which occured on the dirt roads in BC. The team at NW european autoworks was extremely knowledgable about our sprinter van and was able to fit us in the scheudle quickly with short notice. The team got us back on the road in no time along with completing some addtional preventative maintenane (fuel filter). The price for the service was competitive and very reasonable. We highly recommend NW European Autoworks for anyone in the Bellingham or PNW area in need of any work on their sprinter van. We really appreciate the service, kindness, and knowledge that this team had to share. Thank you!

While roadtripping through the PNW with my Mexican car, it suddenly stopped after a huge mistake on my part. They kindly helped me look at it and fixed the problem with fair prices. Their service is excellent since the first phone call. I can’t recommend them enough!! Update: They have been super helpful at checking my engine even after they solved the issue. They are truly passionate about what they do and always have the best disposition to help. I’d recommend them in a heartbeat!

My sprinter van had some front suspension parts improperly installed in another state a week ago causing significant tire damage. Matt and his staff took got me an appointment quickly and took care of the faulty alignment in a few hours this morning at a very fair price and got me back on my way. Thanks Northwest Euro!
