I recently visited Discount Tire & Auto Repair in Richardson to have my brand new ($800) tires and wheels serviced, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and left me feeling scammed.They neglected to inform me that they wouldn’t be responsible for damages. Once they were done, they let me leave the shop without informing me that they damaged both wheels. When I inevitably saw the damage, I came back the next day to resolve the issue. The manager refused to accept any responsibility. He told me to “take it to court”, and gave me a fraction of the cost back. I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others about their unethical practices. Please look at other’s reviews, this is not a one time occurrence for this business.

These guys saved my day. Had a flat on my way to work and found this place. So glad I did. They got me in right away, didn’t treat me like an idiot (which has definitely happened at other shops), and had me back on the road in under an hour. Everyone was super friendly, honest, and clearly knew their stuff. No upsell, no BS. just solid service at a fair price. If you’re looking for a tire shop that won’t waste your time or money, this is it. 10/10 would recommend

Best tire shop experience I’ve ever had. Pulled in thinking I’d be stuck there all day, but these guys were quick and super helpful. They walked me through tire options without any pressure, explained everything clearly, and got me back on the road way faster than expected. Alternator went out on the Milkmobile. Thought I was cooked. They had it fixed in a day (which is a great time itself but would have been quicker it seems, based on other reviews. I was later on the list so it makes sense) which is the exact time estimate they gave me and it only cost $550. Nice guys too, they know my dad apparently and call him by name. (Makes you wonder what's going on with my dad's car.) I recommend their services. Ash was cool

After reading their stellar reviews, I decided to give them a try—and I’m so glad I did! From the very first phone call, Ash and Henry were incredibly helpful, upfront, and honest. Even though the specific tires I needed weren’t typically kept in stock, they reassured me they could have them ordered and delivered by the next day—and they followed through exactly as promised. Once my approval came through, the process was seamless. I dropped off my truck, and they took care of everything. Life threw me a curveball with a minor medical emergency, and I wasn’t able to pick up my truck the same day. Ash and Henry were incredibly understanding and allowed me to leave it overnight without any issue. That kind of grace and customer service is rare and truly appreciated. As a single woman, it means so much to find an auto shop that is trustworthy, respectful, and fair. I felt safe, valued, and in good hands from start to finish. This place ROCKS!! I came in to get an oil change on my car. They got me right in and did an amazing job! I had tried to go somewhere else before I came to Richardson Discount Tire & Auto Repair but was told they couldn’t do an oil change because one of the bolts was stripped. This is one of the best tire stores you can find in Dallas and probably the best in Richardson. I have been their customer for almost 6 years and their service is still above standard. The owner Ash is always focus on the customer and very patient to their needs. Long story short, highly recommend!

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Not only did they sell us a tire from 2019!!! But they put it on BACKWARDS! My family of 5 then proceeds to go on a trip 5 hours from home, when the whole car starts shaking horribly! We checked all the tires and saw that the one we got from here said “inside” while the others all said outside. We ended up having to drive on it for an hour shaking horribly on the service road until we got to a Walmart. Nothing else was open on a Sunday, and wee were in the middle of nowhere. The Walmart tire professionals said that the tire was old, put on incorrectly, and was not balanced correctly. We had to spend double what we paid for the tire to get a brand new tire to be safe driving. The tire they put on was SO DAMAGED, the whole tire was warped from them doing it wrong. Now my alignment and other tires have wear that needs fixing. And all they are willing to do is refund the tire itself. Mind you, I also tipped the person who installed it incorrectly and caused my whole birthday weekend to be ruined $15. Do not give this place your business. They are not willing to do the right thing from the start, or the finish.

The service provided was absolutely outstanding. I encountered a significant issue with my tire and fortunately, I was in close proximity to their establishment. They offered a very reasonable price for a replacement tire and the process of swapping it out was executed swiftly. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will certainly return in the future.
