I had a good experience with Mazda. They worked with the representatives of my extended warranty and got me a really good deal. One thing that could be improved is communication. There were a couple of times when I was told I would get an update by a certain time, but never did. I would have to follow up myself. However, I would get services here again if needed.

I brought my car in for its first scheduled service and was impressed with the video that was done of the inspection of the car. I’ve never had that done before. The waiting area was clean and well stocked with snacks and drinks. I would definitely recommend this dealership for their service department.

The salesman didn’t seem confident about the car or its accessories and wasn’t very proactive in selling. A higher-up came out but didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic about my business. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it felt very mid.

I sincerely hope that if you’re looking to buy a car at this dealership, you read this review. Trust me, it’s worth it. What a dirty bait and switch the manager Don/Dom did. I work a deal with Shawn over the phone and get the Out-the-door price that he confirmed with his manager - ALL IN WRITING. I get passed over to Jeremy, another salesman, and he again confirms with me that the deal is confirmed. However, when I’m on the way to the dealership, all the sudden Jeremy is on a delivery and I’m told to talk to Don/Dom Then when I go to pay the $32.7k and pick up the car, miraculously, Don/Dom has never heard of me and slaps me with over $37k for the final bill. I show him the writing confirming $32.7k from his employee, yet he doesn’t appear to understand federal or state law. I get Jermey on speaker phone and he even says to Don/Dom that he spoke with him earlier and he approved it, yet this stereotypical and self-destructive sales manager flat out denies him. The nerve on this man is incredible because as we’re walking out and calling him out on his BS he wants to throw out $33.7k. To the owner, Richard, managers like Don/Dom ruin your reputation and make people HATE CAR DEALERSHIPS. Don’t be a fool and work with these clowns, it’ll make you never want to look at a Mazda again.

I took my Mazda CX30 in and mentioned that my a/c was not working. Salma said she would take care of it. Then she tried to sell me the Coolant Exchange service, which I refused. Four hours later, I was charged $250 for an a/c diagnosis and informed it would cost an additional $1679 for an a/c compressor. If I would have known I was getting charged for an a/c diagnosis, I would have gone somewhere else. Stay away from Riverside Mazda, they get you to pay for extra services. Luckily, I convinced them to allow me to use their 10% coupon that they have on their site.

Mazda was a great place to go buy a vehicle. You know it took some time for the paperwork to get completed. I felt very comfortable with Mazda dealership. I love my car. I purchased the CX 90 and it’s everything that I expected. The staff was great claim the guy that handled my claim was really really cool. Mazda Riverside went above and beyond with helping me with my first car buying/financing experience I first filled out a online form explaining what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend, then met in person the next day with one of the most friendly sales team I could imagine they showed me exactly what I wanted and a few other options that were just as good, once I had my mind set on the car I wanted (CX-50 premium) they showed me my financial options which were better than I expected. I finally filled out all the paperwork needed and was one the next step to getting on the road due to my living situation I couldn’t use an exact adress to deliver the car I wanted so they had a salesman deliver it to a destination that was close enough to pickup after signing the last few papers I was finally able to drive it. If you take away anything from this review it should be the confidence and thankfulness I have that you will be satisfied with any purchase you make with “Mazda Riverside”!!
