Came in for oil change, recall work, and to fix the connect system. Advisors were friendly and not pushy. Estimated wait time was exactly on point. Lobby had a nice selection of snacks, coffee, and bottled water. Walked me out to my car and they had even washed it! That was a nice surprise. I am always very apprehensive about taking my car in somewhere to get it serviced, as all my previous experiences elsewhere have always been a nightmare (being a woman sadly doesn’t help). I am always upsold, deceived, and given half-a$$ answers. This was a refreshing experience of the opposite and I would definitely take my car here again.

Richard Dobbeleare was all we could ask for during a stressful time. Our 2014 Sportage needed a new engine due to the ongoing issues and extended 150k mile warranty. In my opinion the service department is dishonest. I have taken the vehicle back one time to get its first oil change and was told I didn't need an appointment but then I got there and was shuffled around because I didn't have an appointment. Then they took almost 3 hours and forgot about me in the waiting room and I had to call them on the phone to get anyone to tell me the statis. Then they told me that I needed new brakes and tires. The tires were legit getting worn down at 10,000 miles but I had my regular mechanic check the brakes and they were not nearly as worn down as the service department told me they were. I wished I saved the paperwork where Kia was showing they were at like 5/32 and the. My regular mechanic showed they were at 8 or 9/32 or something like that. They straight up lied about the wear on the brakes.. I'm still driving at 22k miles on the same brakes and they are not near needing replacement. Also they keep leaving me voice mails I think 4 or 5 in the last couple days and a text about wanting to buy my used vehicle and sell me another new one. I wasn't going to post a bad review just in case my experience was a one-off for them but now that they keep calling and calling and calling me and leaving voicemails, it's getting super annoying.

Milo was my person and she was so helpful from the moment I walked in to driving my new car off the lot. Brought my car in for general maintenance and a diagnostic due to windshield wipers not working. I left my car with them and took a loaner for the next day while they had my car. I received a call saying the wipers weren’t working because a rodent “chewed up a bunch of rubber and caused a mechanical error.” This made no sense given there’s no rubber under the windshield wiper motor cowl. I was also told the fix would be over $700. I told them not to fix it. I pick up my car later that day and he explains further that whatever the rodent did caused the metal linkage arms to be badly bent. I go home, remove the windshield wiper motor cowl, and inspect the linkage and see that there’s literally nothing wrong other than the linkage arms became disconnected and all I had to do is reconnect them via the ball joints. Took all of 15 minutes to do and saved $700+. This tells me they either didn’t actually look at what happened (after charging $110 for the “diagnostic”) and just planned on replacing the linkage/motor, they lied, or they don’t know what they’re doing. That’s the last time I’ll ever have Kia perform my maintenance services or repairs.

This was my first time at this particular Oaks Kia, I had transferred all of my information from the Oaks Kia on Burlington North KC. By no means far, this is the best Oaks Kia. I had took my car in because the trunk wouldn't open and the back camera didn't work. So it was something electrical going on, but they helped me with the problem that I was having. It was just an awesome experience. Thank you Josh and the rest of the crew for being so nice and helpful. It was greatly greatly appreciated.
