DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO WASH YOUR CAR AFTER SERVICING. I left the shop with swirl marks all over the paint. Had to have used a dirty shammy while drying. Manager kept pointing fingers back at me. Now I've gotta find a place to get this buffed out.

Service team is very condescending, at least to young women. Their website does not include info about the shuttle service they allege to provide (does not list range, nor does it mention that not all services apply). They’ve lost my business. Will not be returning to this dealer for service for my bug.

The level of customer service has gone downhill over the last several years. While VW is still a solid car maker, this particular dealership leaves quite a bit to be desired. I was one of the their first customers when they opened up after losing their Chrysler dealership. However, the cars are overpriced and therefore I buy my VW’s elsewhere despite BB being closer to my home. This is why I would prefer to have my cars serviced here. Not any more, they openly discourage servicing cars that weren’t purchased at BB. I’d love nothing more than BB to lose the right to sell VW just like they did Chrysler. I will drive to Molle or Lee Summit before giving BB any more of my money.

I will not be returning to this dealership again. I purchased my car here a couple of years ago and went in to get the car serviced. I made an appointment online, and when I went in they told me it would be a 4 hour wait. They did not inform us of this when we booked the appointment. Steve seemed very bothered by our presence and was overall very rude. He could not even acknowledge us when we walked in. He did not like the fact we made an appointment online, so I guess don't do that in the future if you choose to come here. I will be driving farther to a different dealership in the future so I do not have to experience this poor customer service again. I would highly recommend not coming to this particular dealership of VW.

I've been going here for 2 years now and every time I have service done, I don't have to worry if it has been done correctly. This is something I couldn't say at other places. At times it is pricey, but I think everything is to some extent. I am not sure if I like the Express Service which is an oil change with no appointment. I like it when there is no one in front of me but lately it's been over 2 hours. But again, at least I know it is done correctly.

Trying to reach parts department 15 minutes after opening. Whoever answered would transfer to parts and the line would go dead no hold music no ringing no one talking just an empty line I would wait 60 seconds to see if anything happened and it wouldn't. I tried this 4 times. Explaining to the same person answering the phone each time that it wasn't working properly and each time she had a different excuse."She can't help that they're busy." Or "they're outside in the lot" she even said "theyre outside shoveling snow" which I know is subcontracted out. Each time I called I was given an excuse. I asked if she was sure the phones were working properly since there was no ringing or hold music. She said yes and was not willing to do anything more to help get me to service. Lady was just rude as hell. I would rather give eBay motors my business and wait 2 weeks for my part to arrive then go this place and get it the same day just because this was my first time trying to use this place and it went this terrible. It will definitely be the last time trying to use them.

I dropped my vehicle off the night before using their easy overnight check-in, and Steve called me an hour before my scheduled appointment to go over everything I wanted done. He was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. He checked in with me regularly throughout the process and made me feel heard and supported the entire time. For context, I originally had my car serviced at Molle Volkswagen, and after two years of frustrating experiences, I decided it was time for a change. I had ongoing issues with a noise coming from my suspension, but I was never given a clear explanation. At one point, I was told there was “play” in the suspension and that it was the end links, but nothing was ever fully resolved. I also experienced repeated confusion around warranty information and service intervals, which created a lot of stress and uncertainty for me. Fast forward to my visit with Bud Brown: Steve and the technician took the time to thoroughly check my car, even keeping it overnight to make sure they could pinpoint the problem. They approached my concerns seriously and respectfully. After a detailed inspection, they finally discovered what had actually been wrong all along—the strut. After a year of dealing with the same issue elsewhere, Bud Brown identified it and fixed it. My car now drives perfectly, and the peace of mind I have is incredible. Bud Brown Volkswagen demonstrated what customer service should look like. They were thoughtful, communicative, transparent, and truly committed to making sure my car was safe and that I felt confident in the work being done. I’m so grateful to Steve and the team for taking me seriously and caring about my safety on the road.
