The guy in charge here is a true problem solver. I had a complicated issue where my 1978 vin was incorrectly registered to an enhanced smog area, but he got on the phone with the state and cleared it up, saving me a trip to the DMV, and more importantly correcting an issue that nobody else in Redding I spoke with was able to understand. Was finally able to get my smog completed. It means a lot to me when a business goes the extra mile to help its customers. I'll be returning here in the future when I need another smog or any other work for that matter.

This is the second review I am writing on these guys because I have had such a great experience here. I took my truck into Robinett's after confusion at another repairs shop. Rusty, the owner has gone out of his way to be helpful and teach me about my vehicles. They also do something I really like. They give you a report of the work they performed and areas of the vehicle that may need repairs down the road. I appreciate this because I can make better financial decisions related to my vehicles with this information. I don't know much about other shops in town since I have only been here for two years, but this shop is the best I have found. Thanks for taking care of my Nissans.

Can't say enough good things about this place and they didn't even get to work on my truck AND they had every reason & opportunity to be irritated with me.. But still treated me with kindness & respect I had it towed there late on a Sunday.. Then came back home to the coast in my other car and Forgot To Leave Them The Keys!! 🤓 They gave me a super reasonable quote and then they ALLOWED me to leave my truck in their lot for several days knowing I was coordinating bringing back help to fix it myself to save $$... Who the heck does that?! The people at Robinett Auto, that's who. I am eternally grateful for them 💙🙏💪🏽✌🏿

This is only the second time I have used this shop for repairs, and while the first occasion was great, today was over the top. I wasn't able to get a ride to make my appointment and the owner ended up giving me a ride himself. While I imagine that isn't always possible, and it isn't a service offered, Rusty definitely won my loyalty. Plus they went above and beyond to fix a weird door issue which wasn't even the reason I brought it in. These guys rock and I will definitely be going again!

I have unfortunately not had the greatest experience with this company and feel taken advantage of. I never had problems with my SUV till I took it in for an oil change and tire rotation. They never fixed the problem and only wanted to keep charging me to find the problem. Also took their advice to grease my brakes paid to have it done then just recently went to put my own new brake pads on and found that the never did anything but still charged me. The front desk is super kind and friendly but the service is poor.

I had my motor mounts change out a few years ago and one broke again. They charge me for all 4 mounts and to find out they did not replace all mounts. I do not recommend this place to anyone. One broke and was never changed out. It was factory. I did not even want to give them 1 star.

These guys fixed my fathers car and he recommended them to me when my altenator went out. They were straight to the point about what was going on with the vehicle and polite. Because they were so busy the said it might take a week before they got around to it, which we said would be fine. They fixed the car in 4 days and inspected the vehicle for anything else that may be wrong. Everyone i know that goes here has told me of their solid work. I agree.

Took my suv in last week for a new radiator, thermostat and hoses. Apparently the new thermostat was not opening properly and causing the car to run to warm. Took it back today and he replaced the thermostat and refilled. Seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you guys for standing behind your work, it's much appreciated especially these days! I'd definitely recommend!

I had my top radiator hose develop a leak while driving from Seattle to Reno NV last weekend. Sunday morning, it blew enough to stop my trip in Weed CA. I got a tow to Redding, near the Subaru dealership, and it turned out near Rusty's also. I friend recommended Rusty, but I couldn't call until Monday morning. I called when they opened up (figuring if they couldn't do it I could go to the Subaru dealership), and Rusty said they were short-handed, but could try to fit me in if I could leave the car all day. Figuring that's the same response I'd get from the dealer, I said OK. Drove over there, and he said he'd get to it as soon as he finished up another car. Walked to the local Starbuck's, had a cup, and came back; my car was nearly done. He suggested replacing the lower radiator hose also, and I said fine. The car was completely done by 10:30, and at a cost far lower than the same service at the dealership. Friendly and professional; definitely worth it!

Did you think we would not find the damage you did to our car while installing the heater core? Did you think we wouldn't notice the hardware you failed to put back, the wiring you did not bother to reconnect to its anchor, or the mounting point you snapped off when you ripped open the cover? Did you think we would not notice the cracks and the large gash you put in the heater box? Did you think we would not notice you neglecting to mention any of this when you gave it back with a big smile on your face? If so think again.
