This guy is somewhat more unconventional than standard auto repair shops. That said, he seems like the sort of underground guy you should know. I had a check engine light on, and st John's auto was booked out 2 weeks. So I called the next one nearest me - this guy. He was available at that very moment, had a diagnostic tool, saw the code was a vacuum leak, followed it around, found the issue, fixed it and I was out in 15 minutes. Charged me $40. Amazing!

Robinson Automotive does really good work and has fair prices. Has always been honest and if a issue is small and is a quick fix he will let you know it’s minor and inexpensive…. Always has a positive attitude and genuinely cares about his customers. Awesome customer service….

Brian is great. From the get go he was honest and forthcoming. Doesn't want to do work that you don't need done (green flag for a great mechanic in my opinion). We have an old G20 van that has been acting up. I changed the battery and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start. I called on a Monday morning, and he agreed to come down to try and get it running since we couldn't bring it to him. He did his damnedest to get it started during the diagnostic time. Even found a wasp's nest that had started up in the door hinge area, and took care of them to get to the fuse box. He found the issue, ordered parts (starter), fixed it and had it up and running on the same Wednesday. The price was great, and the work was quick, and solid, what more could you ask for? We are already ready to schedule more work here, and will definitely be recommending Brian to friends. By far one of the best experiences with a mechanic I've had!

Brian is amazing! The clerk at automotive store referred him to fix my ignition coil. I just showed up and he got me in the next day, and he also came to pick up my car! Very reasonable.

Did great quick work. Not only did he quote me a very fair price, when I picked my car up he charged me $50 dollars less than his quote. I'm used to paying a different price than the quote, but this might be the first time I've had a mechanic beat his own estimate!

My husband came to Brian When he bought his first car to get an inspection done on it before he bought it, and everything turned out good. For me on the other hand, things did not turn out so great. I went to a used car dealership and found a 2018 jeep renegade that I really liked. The Dealership let me drive it to Brian’s house about 45 minutes away to get an Inspection done on it. I dropped it off at his house and he called me within about 40 minutes and told me it was ready. When I got there, I found out that he did not test drive it. Somebody in his house test drove it because he said his eyesight was not the best. So I’m not sure who drove Test drove it. He said everything looked good and there were no red flags. So trusting his opinion, I went to back to the Dealership and I paid $14,000 for it and brought it home. About an hour after I parked it, I went outside and noticed a puddle right by my Front wheel. The next morning, I immediately called the dealership and thank God they told me to get it into a mechanic they work with to get it looked at. Come to find out it needs a new water pump after they inspected the car. I’m really surprised that he didn’t see this during the inspection. When my husband told him what happened and that he had to leave work for the day to help me, Brian did not say much except for he didn’t see anything wrong with my jeep. My husband asked if we could please have our money back Or we would unfortunately need to write a review about this. When he replied, he didn’t apologize about the issue and he did not offer a refund. He said that he couldn’t see the water pump Or any signs of leaks. I trusted his opinion 100% and that’s why I went ahead and pulled the trigger and bought a $14,000 car. I am disappointed and I feel like all he did was plug his computer into the car and read what the computer was saying. He also had someone test drive my car that wasn’t a licensed mechanic because of his eyesight. I was truly hoping for a sincere apology, and hopefully he would offer to refund our money. But that was not the case. Unfortunately my husband and I will not be going back to him again.
