I was skeptical at first just because of past experiences with dealerships but these guys were awesome. There was an issue that popped up from their end and they solved it immediately without hesitation and brought great service with it. Will continue coming here in the future.

Dealer was good and friendly. I purchased 2023 outback. Told phone app would be used as a remote starter which doesn’t work. I called every few days for about two weeks to get a update on any possible fixes. I was finally told the issue is new and there are no fixes and the problem between the app and the 2023 outback is not well known. I was told a new owner of the vehicle would need to go in and have the issue trouble shot. I was told others having problems but no possible fixes. Basically a new owner would need to go in so they could use the vehicle as a way to figure out issues between the 2023 outback and the app.

If you wait 3 months for a "wait at the dealership"appointment it will still take hours for a simple oil change. The excuse was 'Your car isn't actually worked on at the time of the appointment...' After 2 hours, the excuse why they didn't call to tell me I also needed my tire fixed was 'The car just went on the lift 15 mins ago...'

I brought my 2009 Outback to Romano Subaru Feb 2024 for a service. My Service Advisor Jason Greenman worked with me from start to finish. The car’s issues were quickly analyzed and Jason thoroughly explain the procedures that needed to be done. He got me into a loaner car which I only needed for 1 day as the car was repaired sooner than expected. I will always ask for Jason at my next visit.

I would also like to express how Good Ryan Collin's customer service is!!!!! This young man goes above and beyond for his customers.... Ryan knew that I had shoulder surgery and could tell I was getting sore and went and found me Tylenol he kept me up to date on every step of my vehicle work. Ryan is so personal with his customers that one of the other customers thought we were neighbors or friends!!!! Ryan is the main reason I choose to pay the prices and keep taking my car back to Ramon Subaru!!!! Ryan is a very kind and considerate and very professional service advisor!!!

I recommend verifying your appointment and the work to be done and any particulars when you visit service. We needed a loaner car and we specifically said that to the person on the phone and they told us they couldn't schedule it for a couple of weeks for availability of a loaner. When we arrived they just had a schedule for drop off. Thankfully they were able to accommodate us with a loaner that day I would have been a little upset and given a three-star review if they hadn't been able to do so. Overall good people!

They lied to me. Told me “it wasn’t really possible” to program a key fob for me without having an existing one ( I lost my keys) They told me sending parts of my car to the manufacturer was my only option. I understand it might be Subaru policy to do this…. however times are really, really tough for a lot of people right now… you don’t have to blatantly lie to people when there are other options. They quoted me at $1500 along with a two week wait. The estimate they gave me in an email was $170 lol. They were aware of my situation but didn’t bother telling me ANYTHING until AFTER I had my car towed there (to include the two week wait 🤷♀️ they didn’t mention a thing) Anyways a locksmith took care of me on the spot for about $1200 less Update: Now they want to argue/harass me over text instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and money (tow and Ubers) they made me waste from their inability to communicate and predatory pricing/policies. . I suggest anyone who is considering taking their car here also looks at their Yelp! reviews. Might have a decent rating here, but that one is a different story. At least they were nice enough to tell me about the recall that they didn’t take care of even though my car was there for 10 hours and I had an appt! How thoughtful I love Subaru and plan to buy a new one this summer, needless to say I WILL NOT be choosing Romano

I love Romano Subaru Service! All their staff are extremely knowledgeable, professional and very polite. They are very upfront with the problem and cost. They have a beautiful waiting area stocked with bottled water and coffee for your shorter waits and I can always schedule a loaner car for longer waits. Big thanks to Julian in service and technician John who fit our daughter’s car in when it was making a squealing sound on a busy Saturday when I came in for our car the day before. She had a drive like 3 hrs Sunday to return home and we were afraid of a belt issue. They did a FULL assessment on the car with a thorough video w other recommendations. They stayed past 12 noon to get it done. We feel so much better knowing she will be safe. Great communication to us at every step! Thank you again guys.
