This guy is a crook Ron’s turbo Service old me $10,000 for supplying him turbo chargers he does not answer his phone he does not want to pay me my money he’s a con artist stay away from this company you just gonna take your money and take you for a ride he’s all crook compulsive liar do not do any business with him be aware

One of the few honest people left , he rebuilt and upgraded a turbo for my 05 dodge cummins ,works great ,very reasonable price, he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need , boost is up 5 more psi and egt's are down 150 to 200 degrees , he stands behind his work

Other shop wanted double or to sell a new turbo without even looking at it...Ron showed me what parts needed to be replaced and told me his exact price for labor. I have a great turbo now and saved hundreds of dollars.

Abysmal communication. I will let the turbo build dictate my final review. I have not yet been able to use the truck but a little communication to keep your customer in the loop goes a long way. That being said, Ron did ship it to the shop that is doing the install overnight FedEx on his dime. I will update this review after the truck is finished. 6/19/16 Update to my review. I have had a chance to put the truck to some very heavy towing (19600 lbs). I am impressed with the build quality of this turbo. However, I am not sure if the 99-03 wheel was the best choice for compressor wheels. I may go back to the 97 stock wheel because of higher than expected egt's. In summary, I would recommend Ron to anyone who wants a turbo for the 7.3 powerstroke but don't be in a hurry for the turbo.

This guy is one of the few honest businessmen still left. He knows what he's doing and was more than willing to explain everything he was doing and why to me. That's something you don't get from most men. They just assume women wouldn't understand and blow you off. He could see I genuinely was interested and took the time to explain. He was also extremely reasonable compared to other shops and stands behind his work 100%. Truck runs better than it ever has!

PLEASE READ this if you are a potential customer looking for a turbo shop to visit in Utah. My experience here has been generally horrible and I don’t want others to suffer the same experience. I brought a T3 Turbo to Ron for a rebuild, something small he told me would take 2 to 4 days max. Ron ended up getting sick during this time, which cannot be helped! I trusted him and extended patience to him for the following 2 and a half weeks to machine my Housings out and put my turbo back together. This week I am writing this, I stopped by to check on the turbo since ron said he needed another 2 hours to finish it. He told me he wasnt done, and needed another hour. So I told him I would stop by and either pick up my parts and take them elsewhere, or pick up and pay for my completed turbo. I come back an hour later, and now the door is locked and Ron will NOT let me in to the establishment. He said “i am almost done” and I waited outside in the cold for an HOUR. When I left to my class, i came back and he had shut down shop when I was gone. He turned all his phones off for the last 3 days and I havent heard from him since. So he has stolen my parts, not answered my calls and not delivered on his promises. Now my car is up on a lift in someone elses shop while Ron dodges me, and I will probably be forced to call the Local Police Department in the next several days in order to get my parts back. Save yourself the time of going here. Just order a turbo from a reputable dealer online and spend the money; Rebuilders/mechanics and dealers in Utah are generally dishonest and are not reprimanded for their shady practices.

Great service 18 months ago. Now I have questions about the turbo I bought form him and Ron is MIA. I have left numerous emails and voice message with no reply. I did notice there are two websites promoting his business that are active. Did I make a bad choice when I bought mt turbo, because sold products are only as good as the person behind it. Rons's Turbo Service deserved 5 stars 18 months ago . Please service your customers as we had enough faith in you to buy your products.
