I definitely recommend Royal Auto Group! The speakers in my Mazda needed to be replaced and the service was done quickly and was fairly priced. Incredible customer service and over all service in general. Bryan has been extremely communicative with frequent updates. I have an older Mazda 3 that still has some life in her but needs more maintenance and care. I had come in recently with multiple issues over the course of 3 weeks. I had to return a couple times as there was some follow up issues to resolve, but Bryan would always ensure that if it was related to the original issue, it would be guaranteed and covered. Which it was, every time. He would also make sure to update me frequently via text message and even sent video with thorough updates on what was done. He'd confirm cost estimates with me first before moving forward with the repairs. Now I have a car running smoothly and I'm not worried that it'll die on me on my daily commute. I would highly recommend anyone to Royal Auto for service!

I opted to wait for the car, it was done earlier than promised, vehicle completely checked over, and I got a video of the results. This review goes to my service experience at SF Mazda for my Miata. Huge shout out to service Advisor Julio- he listened to all my concerns and made sure things are executed the way my car deserves. I emphasized to be very careful with the paint and he noted that down on the work order form with color pen and highlighted the statement. He understands the love I have for my car and advocated for the level of service it deserves. I wanted to make sure I get a new gasket (amongst other details) with the oil change and Julio ensured. The other advisors Randy and Jose were very friendly as well. Brad the tech was very thorough and thoughtful. I received a video of a walkthrough of the service process/ procedure and Brad provided detailed and thoughtful commentary- highlighted that things are torqued to factory recommended spec, the car was properly mounted (rocker panels not touching the mount), that I got that new gasket, just mentioning the details in each step of the service, really showing there is care. This is the type of service I expect of any car. People treating your car like it’s theirs (or as close to that as possible). I recommend Royal Auto’s Mazda service!

Stop by the Service Department on March 13, 2025 as I could not figure out how to change the battery on my car key fob. The service manager that helped me changed both of my fob's batteries and when asked how much he told me it was fine. Thank you very much Royal Auto Group. I was not expecting them to change the battery and not charge me. This is the second time I have just stopped by for minor assistance and not been charged. Great place and I will always be taking my Audi Q5 here for servicing!!!

Disappointing Experience I brought my car to Royal Auto Group Service to fix a squeaky driver’s seat in my year-old XC90. Despite explaining and demonstrating the issue to the service staff, the problem wasn’t resolved after an entire day. When I picked up the car, the squeak was still there, and only then did the staff record the noise and ask me to come back. I’m frustrated by the lack of attention to detail and disregard for my time. This experience felt like a complete waste of a day with no resolution. [Update]: I'm pleased to share an update on my experience with Royal Auto Group Service. Following my initial review, the service center reached out to me and expressed their sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. They were very understanding and eager to rectify the situation. They scheduled a second appointment for me and provided a loaner vehicle for my convenience. This time, the service team took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue and kept me informed throughout the process. They identified the root cause of the squeaky seat and successfully resolved it. Not only did they fix the original problem. I was thoroughly impressed by their commitment to customer satisfaction and their efforts to regain my trust. While my initial experience was disappointing, I appreciate the service center's prompt response and dedication to resolving the issue. Their willingness to go the extra mile has turned my dissatisfaction into a positive experience.

I picked up my car from service and the interior smells VERY strongly of cologne. It’s overpowering and gives me migraines. I’ve left all windows down and air on and it doesn’t go away. Technicians shouldn’t be wearing strong cologne when they are working in someone else’s car. Can you please address this?

Reason for the 2 star rating is that they charge a 3% surcharge on CC transactions (not sure if this is legal in CA). Other than that, I had recall service and windshield replacement done here, they were professional and courteous. Labor rate is pretty high compared to service centers a little further away.

Overall had a very poor experience with Volvo San Francisco Service department. Took my car in on a Friday afternoon for service in the morning. Everything went fine until I came back to pick up the vehicle. The car was not at the service center when I came to pick it up. Turned out someone mistook the key tag on my car for another and thought my car was a CPO car and took it to a storage facility. Had to wait 1.5 hours when I returned for the car. This is not the issue or reason for 1 star. When I received the car, 2 charging cables and my set of keys were missing (the remote was there but not the keys attached to the remote). Since it was Friday afternoon, they said someone will follow up with me on Monday. I called Monday afternoon and asked for a follow up and someone said they'll get back to me. It wasn't until Thursday after much persistence I got a hold of the service manager (granted he was out of town on business) who agreed to reimburse for the missing items. What gives this a 1 star review was not the fact the car was mistaken or that they had to reimburse me for lost items. It was the lack of care, interest, and accountability by the service team. No follow up from anyone until I kept pushing, no offer of credit for discounted service for wasting my time replacing items (plus one key chain cannot be replaced since it was bought in Italy), just a simple sorry it happened. I'm going to make sure to go to another dealership for service in the future. If you don't want to waste time or have items stolen/lost, then don't go here for service. **EDIT** I'm updating this review to 4-stars. I spoke with Ray, the service manager for Volvo. After discussing with him we were able to resolve this situation now that he has returned. While the incident has happened and we can't go back and undo it, Ray's response and commitment to fixing this and making sure his customers are happy has impressed me greatly. Thank you for addressing this situation. I really appreciate all your help.

I bought the car a year and a half ago. I have only had excellent experiences at Royal Motors, Mazda division, in the 18 months that I have been going to my regularly assigned tuneups. The customer service agent who has always been generous with his time even beyond when my car is in the shop, is Jose. I think he’s phenomenal. He strikes me as someone who emulates the definition of true customer service. Everyone there is really very pleasant, very professional, very thorough in their ability to know their job, as well as knowing Mazdas as well as the vehicles under their care. Jose is phenomenal. I cannot thank him enough. I don’t have his business cardcard on me, so I do not know his last name, but anybody would be lucky to work with him! He is definitely highly skilled, gracious and very knowledgeable, and a natural leader.
