Before finding Luscious Garage I had two other shops misdiagnose the clunking sounds coming from my car as struts needing to be replaced. Luscious Garage identified that the issue was actually my spreader bars, not my struts. Not only did their honesty and expertise save me about $2,000 in not replacing OK struts, but since issues with spreader bars are actually pretty dangerous, they kept me safe by noticing and fixing that problem.

I had an intermittent death triangle trouble light on my Prius and it was throwing some strange codes when scanned by my usual mechanic who suggested I check out Earthling as they are hybrid specialists so I made an appointment. Carolyn the owner came out to my car to personally check it out, scan the current codes and explain what might be causing the trouble (the tringle light was no longer on tho). She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and suggested I come back when the triangle light came on next time and did not charge me for her time and scan. A+ customer service and beautiful facility too!

I had the pleasure of working with Michael H. He was super knowledgeable and had great customer service skills. Never once did I feel like I was being taking advantage of. These guys are pros and look after your best interest. This is the only shop I trust with my Prius-V and Tesla. They work on gas cars too, but they for sure are experts in Hybrids and Electric cars. Best shop in the city, IMO. Will definitely be coming back.

Very very bad experience. Super unprofessional. I went in to fix an AC issue I had on my Tesla. I knew beforehand it was something to do with low refrigerant and possible leak, so went into get a diagnosis. 1. I paid ~$300 for "diagnostics" and they barely looked at the vehicle and told me it was working fine, which I know for sure is not working fine. 2. Service advisor Kevin started out with a very condescending tone that ACs don't work like how I described it and treated me like I am delusional and told me to go home after paying the fees. 3. I pulled up Tesla service mode and replicated the error and then the tech said he will take another look at it, while Kevin was still very skeptical. 4. They came back to me asking me to pay $2800 to replace my compressor, which I thought should fix my car. 5. They ordered the parts and I went in to get my fix and after 5 hours they tell me that compressor is all good, but there is a leak. 6. They refill the refrigerant asking me to pay another $500, with the leak still in place. 7. Now, they return the vehicle to me telling me I need to pay them additional $2800 to get the "actual fix". Looking at the fix, it's $150 in parts and $2650 in labor (which they should have done correctly the first two times they opened up my car) 8. After 4 visits, I am down $800, back with a vehicle that has not been fixed at all and they are asking to pay $2800 extra. Insane practice, dishonest and utterly unprofessional. Service advisor Carolyn is nice, but Kevin should learn more about the vehicles before he makes any judgment calls about his customers.

I have been going to earthling automotive even when they were still luscious garage. I moved my car services to them because the dealership was pricing me too high and was insisting in some repairs that wasn’t an immediate need to repair. I love how they show pictures of the things your car needs fixing. They don’t insist but they do recommend. The staffs are friendly and they do the job on time and they are accommodating. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Their prices had gone up a little but that is also understandable due to inflation and stuff. I have a different email in their system but hopefully they recognize that I am a loyal customer. Good job guys!

EDIT: Revising my review to 4.5 stars b/c the manager reach out and completely addressed the issue. Please support this business! Just make sure you present any coupons up front, especially if the job turns into needing an overnight to continue work the next day. I am writing this review very reluctantly b/c I wholly support local businesses and actually left City Toyota for this very reason. This is my story. I recently made an appt for a 150K service and consultation for a body issue based on a wonderful experience when it was Luscious Garage. The work done by Earthling that was done was great, so five stars for that, but I was disappointed about the customer service regarding their unwillingness to honor a coupon I presented at drop off. The car needed to stay overnight, with my teenage son picking it up the next day. They couldn't do the work unless it was paid for, so I did that remotely, and my son was going to present the coupon the next day at pick up. They would not honor the coupon, saying the charge had already gone through. We all know it's pretty easy to reverse charges or submit a credit on a credit card, do make adjustments after the fact. I called to follow up. They were supposed to call back. They didn't. Two calls and one message later, radio silence. It's one thing to not honor the coupon. It's another to just ghost a customer. Unfortunately, I will not be going back b/c this is the type of ghosting I would expect from City Toyota. I'm not sure where to go next, but I hope that Earthling brings back the customer service b/c that's what small businesses do.

Dropped off my car at 1:00, was told it would be ready around 4:00, service was finished just after 3:00. Painless compared to getting service at the dealership, and a lot cheaper. They checked the condition of the brake fluid and determined that it didn’t need to be replaced, saving me some time and money. Staff were very pleasant to work with. Facility was very clean and organized.

Decided to give it a shot on account of the reviews, generally reasonable experiences from people I've met and long lead times for Tesla Service but thus far my personal experience has been quite abject to say the least. To start, brought a Model Y in for general maintenance on Tuesday morning for rountine maintenance and 4 specfic items listed in the service request submitted the friday prior. During drop off I was informed that a quote would be ready in about 2 hours, but did not hear back until over 6 hours later, 40 min before closing informing me that they were not able to finish a quote that day but next day would be possible. The following day, I was informed around noon that a quote would not be ready until the day after, and upon requesting an estimate of when the repairs could be completed was not provided a reasonable estimate. This so far is not a great experience but for what occured next. Upon not reciving a reasonabe estimate as to the timeline of repairs requested or a complete quote, I called in 1.5h ahead and requested my tires be rotated and to make sure there was no miscommunication, submitted the same via text which was confirmed recived when they called back 10 minutes subsequent. Needless to say, the tires were not rotated. But wait there's more! My driver's seat also started loudly creaking at the slightest bumps where it had not prior. I suppose, generously, this was because the seat needed to be moved to access the sterring column and the mechanic that did not re-assemble it with due care because they supposed that it would be accessed again before it was picked up but it's but I'm not sure how much I care. Overall communcaiton left much to be desired, partial quote provided was >50% over Tesla's and service was neither prompt nor convenient as much as I am sympathetic to staffing gaps the overall value proposition makes no sense as-is even with 1st party wait times. Not being able to provide a tire quote after 2 full days is all pretty crazy for an auto shop.
