Took my car in because the airbag light was on! He fixed it with no problem the dealership wanted to charge 159.00. Definitely taking it back to fix my air! The best I would not take my car no where else!

Got the car towed there for diagnosis after breaking down on me, told me it was the spark plug, coil, and battery. Once I got there I told him I would replace the battery at home as I already have a battery but my father in law did not want them to put it in. I called him and told him I’d come up for the spark plug and coil, he disconnected my battery without me asking him to, he said only one spark plug was OUT when it was indeed broken off and probably inside my piston and could cause my engine to stop. My starter was also burning and he told me that he would indeed start it EVERYTIME he worked on it. I asked for a diagnosis so it should’ve only been jumped once, to diagnose. Charged me $60 to be told about a spark plug, and a coil, and a battery. He then told me that I could leave it at the shop and get the parts the next day for him, he then tells me I need to tow my car off the property that night. So I show up with my tow guy, and he locked my keys away, I texted him as he said he did not want the car any more on his property, asking why he would take my keys and lock all my doors, and he said he didn’t mean to. So jump to this morning, my tow guy gets there to tow it, and they say they don’t have the keys! Do not go here. The tow company says they have issues with this guy all the time and he screws people over all the time! Don’t let the good reviews fool you like they did me. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and is just money hungry.

I was in need of some front end diagnosis and found Ruben's via Google, then chose them because of their Google reviews. I'm very happy that I did! Martin is the gentleman that assisted me and he is a very humble and honest man. 1. He DID NOT charge me to look at my vehicle and give me a diagnosis, which was spot on! 2. He informed me that my upper control arms have a lifetime warranty and should be evenly exchanged at my parts store. He was correct! 3. He allowed me to exchange and provide my warrantied struts and control arms. 4. Made the repairs the same day. 5. Charged me a very fair price. I'm very happy with Ruben's and they have earned my future business! Thank you Martin and Ruben's!!

I would highly recommend this shop the next time you need some car work done! I was given a list of things that “needed” to be done just to get my car on the road again at another shop that would have cost me $3000. Brought it here and all they had to do was change the spark plugs and boots which brought the cost down to $160 and my car is now driving better than it has for the past year. They are really nice seem like they want to help get you back in your car and not about running up a big bill.

Since moving to Dallas from East Texas in 2020, I’ve found a true gem in Rueben’s Auto Repair. Martin runs a great business. Replaced the AC Evaporator on a Toyota FJ Cruiser (VERY labor intensive - 2 days) and his guys did a fantastic job and the price was extremely reasonable. He thoroughly explained everything to me and showed me where the leak was and what was required to fix it. Super nice guy on top of it all! This is my go-to repair shop from now on! HIGHLY recommended!

Had an amazing experience!! I was googling mechanics in the Grand Prairie area and came across this place and was satisfied with the reviews I read. When anything goes wrong with your vehicle you always want to be able to take it somewhere where they are honest and not trying to get over on you financially. I took my Jeep Wrangler here because it was running hot and was leaking fluid. When I got there I was immediately greeted and asked what was going on, this was a Friday afternoon/evening. I explained what was happening, and also told him randomly that my driver door handle no longer opened my door and if he got whatever was going on with my car overheating I would bring it back to get the door repaired. The next morning he called and explained that I needed a new radiator and that it could be fixed and ready to go by the afternoon. My heart sank because I thought the price was going to be outrageous, but when he told me the price I was ecstatic. He then called me a few hours later and told me my jeep was ready to go, and that he also had fixed the door handle for me!! I didn’t even ask him to do that but was grateful that he did! I would recommend this shop to any and everyone and he will get more business from me in the future!

Traveling to the area to move my college student into an apartment @ 3pm on a Friday afternoon ....my water-pump goes out on 2015 F150. Went to the ford dealership & they wouldn’t look at it till Monday. Started calling around looking for someone that would replace the pump so that I could get back on the road. Called at least 10 shops & they all refused. When I called Ruben’s & told them what my problem was, he said that he would call the parts house & check parts & call me right back. Based on the other responses I had, that was encouraging , but I really didn’t expect to here back from them. He called me back in less than 5 min. Saying that they would have the pump delivered by the time I got there & would stay late, if needed to get me fixed up. I got there & they went right to work. They were kind, respectful & very accommodating. They did a fine job at a very fair price, especially considering that they could have easily refused or taken advantage financially of my circumstances. Top notch! I would highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We broke down in Grand Prairie on Thanksgiving weekend and were hopeful to find a shop open. Not only were they open, repair was done within two hours. This establishment was beyond professional, courteous, and reasonably priced. Martin was extremely accommodating, as he even drove us to a restaurant to eat lunch while we waited. I would recommend this garage 10 out of 10 times!

I’m from Louisiana and relocated to Dallas I was looking for a reasonable mechanic and god must have heard me because this was recommended to me by a roadside assistance company and thank god I went I’ve been here twice so far and both times my vehicle was serviced it was done right and also the owner and his prices are far for a single parent and they get you in and out and make sure you see the problem before they start the work and to the end Highly Recommended!!! GOOD WORK AND THE PRICE IS AFFORDABLE

I have a 2001 chevy silverado that need a new motor, fuel pump, and radiator I went to his shop spoke with him he gave me a really good price so I dropped off my truck. He stayed in communicating with me. I pick up my truck six days later in better Condition then I dropped it off. I would highly recommend anybody who needs a good trusworthy mechanic Ruben is the guy. Couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. My truck is running better then every before.

Horrible place wouldn’t recommend to no one. I was called twice to change prices 300 to 640 so decided to take my car else where. Took to other shop and was told this shop damage my car and replace original screw. Called the owner send pictures and let him know what he did. He admitted of cracking the knuckle and losing the original screw but said he wasn’t gonna pay for the damage of my car and only the screw. Unprofessional to damage a customer property and not pay for it. Now gonna waste more money for the damage he did.

These guys are honest, hard working, and knowledgeable. They have helped me out with my vehicle multiple times and always have a fix in record time at a really decent price. Some good dudes.
