I had an issue of noise coming out from the front wheel on the driving side of my Infiniti QX60 which is under extended warranty from Carmax. I first called the Infiniti dealership in Milwaukee and they were offering to have a look into my vehicle after two weeks. Even though I had the same thing looked at some months ago which they claimed to have fixed. In spite of warranty I had to pay around 500 as they said they had to replace the brakes. This time I did not have two weeks to wait especially when the dealership is discourteous and is not concerned of what you will do in that period. I was forced to call carmax and asked about my extended warranty and they said they have limited services but could refer me to a third party if I was in an urgent need. At first, I was reluctant to call Ruby Isle Auto that was referred to me by Carmax but since I didn't have many options, I am glad that I called Ruby Isle Auto. I spoke to a person named Jeff. He was willing to have a look at my car. I went there and dropped off my car as he had a little drive with me to observe the noise coming out. I was told to come later or to wait. I chose to go and finish some other work as I took an uber from there. Two hours later Jeff called me and informed me that the issue was sorted out as there was a loose bolt that was hitting the wheel inside and causing that noise. It had also led to some damage. I knew this will not be covered by the extended warranty. I was expecting no less than 500. The bill was realistic it was about 385 including 170 for diagnostics. I just explained to Jeff about my earlier visit to the dealership and he said I could claim this money from them. I told him it is hard for me to find time and convince them of their fault. Jeff said to me he could speak to the owner of Ruby Auto Isle to see if he could provide some discount. In the meantime, I took out my credit card to pay the amount. I was expecting Jeff to come out and say either the owner said 'we can not do anything' or offer a little discount. Instead, the owner John came out himself, listened to my whole story and asked me what do I want to pay out of this. He offered me to pay only the deductible which was 100 but then I felt that the job done was much more than that. Eventually I paid only 150. In today's world, it is hard to believe that a person owned business will provide you better, economical and customer friendly service when compared to the dealerships. Ruby Isle Auto is honest in their job. I have already recommended this place very highly for my friends and would do same writing this review. I suggest to meet John while you are at the service center. A cheerful guy and above all a great human being.

Well I’m sharing me and my son experience with his car repairs at this shop has been very good service when it’s a issue Jeff took very good care of my sons car quickly, John took care of the tow even though their shop had just closed, Jeff figured out diagnosis, contacted warranty company got work approved and updated me and my son right away before the shop was even open and got my son a rental approved through warranty company while the work repairs are being completed. I have been a customer of Ruby Isle for more than 15 years and I don’t plan on leaving them anytime soon! I first came to them for an oil change and stayed when I learned the quick change place that did the last change stripped the bolt on my oil pan …and just put it back in! Ruby Isle has been thorough and honest with me about what needs to be done with my car. Sometimes I am amazed at the amount of work they complete when I am there; they are diligent and great people. I sent my car to the shop and it’s worse than it was when I brought it in now it will not start at all. My check engine light was on I was quoted almost 1600.00 for everything except what the real reason was. I explained my car was over heating and smoking, it had a sweet smell of coolant, and it shut off twice. I paid almost a thousand dollars in 3 days because I had to keep going back because the same issues was happening each day I was told something new and charged a new price the first repair was I needed the heater hose (both) replaced. I picked the car up it overheated by the time I got home which is 6 mins away. I checked under the hood it looked like no work was done everything was still in tack and dusty. Day 2 back at the shop Now the tech tell me the radiator hose broke when I asked how he got an attitude threw my paperwork and keys on the counter and walked off. Because I asked HOW? It wasn’t broke when I pulled up to the shop, I was charged to fix that. Mind you I never had any leaking fluids prior now all of a sudden under the hood is all wet. Problem still wasn’t fixed 3rd day I go back I was told I had a blown head gasket after having work done for 3 days mind you this past summer I paid 1600 for repairs with them which was a battery and alternator. The owner felt so bad because they had dropped the ball and had me coming back and forth spending unnecessary money and wrote me check. The owner John was nice also agreed to quote me for the repairs of the head gasket on Monday but I still haven’t heard anything yet. So 0/10 I don’t recommend.
