These guys are great--more than fair prices, bend over backwards to get you the best deal. They looked into one transmission and didn't even charge us for the labor when we decided it was just too expensive. Found us a nice deal on a used manual transmission for another car a year later and labor charge was minimal. Highly recommended!

Spectacular Service! I have an extended warranty on my Ford F150. I was experiencing transmission problems and I called six different Ford dealers. No one could even LOOK at my truck for six weeks. When I realized that my warranty was not limited to Ford I called Russell Auto. They confirmed that they can work with my warranty. They got me in in less than a week. They quickly diagnosed the problem. They worked with my warranty company to approve a complete transmission replacement. I had my truck back to me in another week. I told them that I was using my truck to tow a camper to Florida in a few weeks and they took extra time to go through my truck and provide a few additional service items to prepare me for my trip. I could not be happier to recommend them.

Awesome work quick and a fair price! very happy! They did not try to sell me on work that did not need to be done I went to one place and they said the whole transmission had to be replaced so I took it to my buddy for a second opinion and he said it was just a sensor and to take it to russell's they will take good care of you and they did!!

I totally trust these guys! I found them four years ago and am relieved that I can count on them to do right by me! I know nothing about auto repairs and they know what they are doing! I have 2 older vehicles and they have done lots of repairs for me on both of them and they always do a great job! They are reasonably priced.They are really super friendly too! They have a neat waiting room if you don't have a ride. And their bathroom is clean too! My car has 185k miles on it and my truck has 252k on it. Thank you keeping them running!

I wish I could give one million stars!!! We walked in convinced that our friends vehicle needed a transmission and it turned out it was just a frozen cable and cost less than 220 to fix. They easily could have said sure no problem here’s the quote and honestly we would have said let’s do it. Instead they were honest and upfront, communicated every step of the way and did it all with respect and a smile. There’s a reason they have been in business for more than 60 years and it shows!!

I had the unfortunate circumstance of a blown transmission in my Jeep fall upon me recently. My years of landscaping locally had introduced me to Russell Auto, some twenty-odd years ago. I didn't hesitate to call them once this stroke of bad luck hit me. The price quoted, as well as the time frame and warranty, far exceed what I was expecting, BUT IN A REALLY GOOD WAY. The price, comparable to other shops, but the reputation that preceeds Russell Auto, is priceless. Once the job was started, the turn around on it was faster than I had anticipated. As the work was progressing, I was briefed on the goings on. I can't say enough great things about the team at Russell Auto. Best shop ever. I purchased a rebuilt 4L80e to put in my frame off restored 1979 Chevy truck. It’s been years now and it still operates perfectly. I love this shop, unfortunately I live over an hour away from it, if I lived closer I would use this shop for everything automotive. You won’t find anyone as knowledgeable as Wayne.
