Extremely honest! On vacation, somebody hit me, totaled my car, he gave me his advice to get the ball rolling quicker with the insurance companies, I LISTENED and he was correct. He kept in touch with me when I got back home to let me know when the insurance company came to review my vehicle. Also, at the scene of the accident as he was towing my girl away I asked him to be careful with what was left of her, he said he will take very good care of her And HE DID! Next time we had to North Carolina my husband and I are taking him out for some dinner and drinks!!!! Should have done it myself instead of wasteing almost 400 bucks just to put a sensor in and they left hoses unhooked form their original positions. also have a new interesting sound at higher rpm. im going elsewhere next time. Very disappointed. Edit for the people that don't believe when I said this they messed up my car and should have replaced the parts they messed up I recommend Wilmington tire and auto or hwy 17 tire and auto. Ryan's auto is garbage

I always double check with Ryan and have him perform the work if needed. Many times they diagnosed the problem wrong or told me I needed work done that wasn't necessary.

I was referred to Ryan's auto by a co-worker and they were super helpful. They squeezed me in the day I called to look at my Hyundai which was making weird rattling noises. It took them maybe 30 minutes to figure out what was wrong with it and it was a quick fix, they hardly charged me anything I was in and out in less than an hour. Ryan was also very nice and polite.

My vehicle was in an accident and due to the current affairs of litigation during the insurance company, I had to pay storage and the owner is currently refusing to move my vehicle, even after I paid the outrageous bill. He didn't want to put forth the effort in the beginning to move my vehicle upon request when the accident happened. And when he finally got around to moving it he tried to make excuses to me about moving it. I have worked at multiple mechanic shops and never seen anyone take advantage of one's situation. The quality and professionalism is extremely poor. When Ryan moved my vehicle or other people's vehicles, he refused to put safety straps on the vehicles he was towing to and from the shop. I noticed customers engines sitting in the rain and uncovered allowing who knows what damage to an engine some customer will now have to pay additional for. The staff there weren't even wearing clothing that is remotely considered safe inside the shop area, which included open toed shoes, and tattered rags for clothes. The place has holes in the wall and is a walking OSHA disaster. But I guess I shouldn't have expected anything else from a guy who told me how and why I should commit insurance fraud on a vehicle that I love. To which ryan tried to sell me airbags and trim pieces for my car that either been deployed or would make my vehicle look more damaged than it already was, and on top of it they weren't even from the same vehicle. I couldnt believe that his tactics and dirty pool haven't been called in to question by anyone else for legal battles for fraud. It sickens me to think that people behave like this. ***** Reason to edit as follows. Another customer or employee was firsthand witnessed taking wheels and tires off of another vehicle to replace their own wheels and tires in the auto lot yard.

Wanted to share my experience with Ryan's Automotive. To make a long story short, I purchased a pickup that I thought was a good deal. Needless to say, after about a month, cel light comes on, starts smoking on startup, no hot air from the heater... on and on. Reception would call with timely updates , as there were problems discovered in process. Each time a failure was found on the truck , the staff consistently had the expertise to correctly handle it. By the way, this work was done under an extended warranty , which can be a bit thorny for both party's involved , but prices are reasonable Truck now runs & performs like new. Outstanding. This shop possesses a level of integrity that is hard to find these days . Thank you Ryan's Automotive!

I was stuck on Interstate 40 and needed a tow so i called Ryans and the service was great.They were very professional and got me picked up quick. They were very friendly and were able to get my car fixed and get me back on the road. I was out of town and far away from home and didn't feel like they were taking advantage of my bad luck. He didn't even charge me for the tow bill cause he was the one fixing my car. I am so glad there are still people out there that are honest.Thanks Ryan and crew for helping me out in a tough time. Super reliable in that all their work has been perfect, they have the knowledge to diagnose ANY car issue and come up with the quick, correct fix; all their prices are very fair for the high quality of work you're getting. This is the best & most honest shop I've ever found. My old trucks been dead on the road twice this past year, both times Ryan's, has had me back on the road the next day. And during a State Inspection, I needed to know what other work I needed done, and they did a super thorough job and found safety issues I had on my truck that other shops would have probably ignored during the inspection.

I have an engine and drivetrain warranty on my car and the finance place I use uses him. Had an issue with my four wheel drive. He tried to tell me the four wheel drive wasn't part of the drivetrain. It's literally connected to the transmission. I went to Pop car auto on Dawson and 13 th. Much better and labor was much more reasonable. Fixed my four wheel drive for $100.
