They do state inspections all day long here. No appointment necessary. I got a reject sticker. They told me exactly what needed to be fixed and did not try to get me to have them make the repairs. They were almost apologetic about it. So I fixed it and brought it back and got my sticker at no additional cost.

Not trustworthy, claimed I needed a $450 muffler for my PT Cruiser, rejected my inspection and stated they could do the work. I took it down the street to Sullivan Tire and it passed, no problem. This is a common occurrence since I told others, they had similar stories. Beware.

Randy Sr. and Randy Jr. run this place. They’re great guys. They did a pre purchase inspection on a Saturday morning on an old Acura I was buying from up the street. Randy Jr. tore this thing apart. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He must have spent over an hour inspecting it. Best $40 I ever spent. I got the car and so far so good.

Really great guys here! Can always count on them for a quick, last-minute inspection sticker. If you’re in South Peabody, don’t bother going to dealerships or bigger shops downtown to get a sticker. Just head down Lynn Street on Saturday mornings and they’ll help you out. Caveat: cash only, so be prepared.

I am so grateful to Randy Jr and Sr for fixing my car alarm yesterday morning. It was a simple fix that worked and saved me loads of money, not to mention my sanity (alarm was going off at random many times in the middle of the night). This edit from previous my review drops the 5-star rating to 1-star. If I could give a ZERO star review, I would. I have been a faithful customer and the last time I needed service, Randy Sr.’s niceties and accommodating customer’s needs went out the window. He was rude and raised his voice, yelling at me saying, “Can’t you see how busy I am? I don’t have time for people like you.” I was SHOCKED! Like ME? What does that mean? I stormed out of that place and never looked back. I will NEVER EVER go to this place again. I recommend the Peabody Sunoco Service Station on Lynn Street, Peabody, MA. They are much better, lower prices, and NICE people. DO NOT bring your vehicle into Sacco’s Auto Repair.

Service was excellent. Minor repairs needed were spotted and taken care of immediately at a very reasonable price. Gentlemen were very courteous and answered questions when asked about the sticker and about what could be expected with the model of my vehicle as I had just purchased it. I highly rate their service so much that I go back there every year for a sticker and know I leave with a safe vehicle and that I will not be ripped off even though I am a single senior customer.
