Been taking multiple cars (F250 diesel, previa, civic) to SCAT for about 10 years now - they always do a good job that stands up to use, and they get the car back to us when they say they will. They try the low-cost fixes first, then fit their recommendations to the car's intended use and probable lifespan. Definitely recommended!

Both Mike and Randy were super helpful and courteous. The car’s electrical was freaking out on Hwy 17 which is a very bad place to breakdown cause the windy roads can impact driver safety. They determined it was the car’s alternator which was promptly replaced the next morning and the system was retested to ensure the car was all OK. They were honest and committed to get the car back by noon. I am visiting Santa Cruz in a rental and they knew it’s much easier to get around this wonderful city in a car. 👍🏼👍🏼

I bought a (used) car private party and it immediately developed an issue with the A/C. Mike got me in quickly so we could try to address the issue before a planned trip with my kids. Unfortunately it ended up needing a new A/C compressor and while it wasn't cheap, they did the work quickly and took pity on me where they could. Stoked to have found a nearby, honest mechanic.

We've purchased 2 vehicles from George and Joaquin. Both low milage quality single owner vehicles. These guys know how to find gems. The asking prices are reasonable so don't expect them to haggle or drop their price unless it's been on their lot for a while. Do your homework look at the KBB Carfax and the current market. They are usually within KBB which you won't often find with used car dealers.
