Today is day 9 that they have had my car. I was called on day 7 and told that my car was ready, went in and paid on day 8. Got into my car to leave and the air did not work. Said he would need to have it until the afternoon to fix the problem. Came back in the afternoon and no one was in sight but garage bay doors wide open and my car (and others) inside. Came back this morning to pick my car up and still no one in sight and no one will answer calls. I bet we have called 20 times in the past 2 days. No way to leave a voicemail and no one there. I NEED MY CAR! I guess the next call will be to the police to get my car back. I don’t know what else to do at this point.

Businesses that don't give estimates apparently don't want your business. I had my van worked on somewhere else and they told me what was wrong. I called Savannah Auto Air asking what would they charge if they determine this is the same problem but the lady, who answered the phone, said she could not give a quote as that will take some time and they must take a look at it first. I understand you can't go by what some other place says and must do a checkup yourself to determine the problem. All I asked for was a quote if you determine the problem is what the other place said was the problem. Hope you change your business practices and provide quotes like all the other auto places did for me!

After diagnostic was told the issue, but the mechanic said he wouldn’t repair just the issue, and quoted to replace the entire A/C system for $1500. Paid the diagnostic fee and took to another mechanic who fixed the issue for less than the cost of the diagnostic at this place. Go somewhere more trustworthy.

Savannah Auto Air is great! Last year my husband was told he needed a complete air conditioning replacement in his 2008 Honda Civic by someone other than Savannah Auto Air. He was prepared to pay around $1,200 to Savannah Auto Air for the repairs. It turned out to be a $45 repair. We really appreciate the honesty displayed by the people at Savannah Auto Air. I would like to say Savannah Auto Air has to be one of the most honest automobile air conditioning repair companies in the area.

Use caution if dealing with Savannah Auto Air. I spent over $2000 for an Auto Air Conditioning repair. I ended up having to take the car back four times, since the A/C still wasn’t cooling properly. He had my car for a total of 39 days, and the problem is still not fixed. Additionally, some parts (underside panel and bolts) were missing when I got the car back. I never got them back. Problem was never fixed and no refund was offered or given. All A/C work on my car was done by Savannah Auto Air working through Southside Auto Repair on Montgomery Crossroads. I highly recommend avoiding both!

My family and I have used Savannah Auto Air for over 3 years now. IMHO they are the best when it comes to A/C work. They DO NOT price gouge and they guarantee their work. If you have A/C issues in your car, they are very helpful in explaining what the issue is. I have saved thousands at Savannah Auto Air. Just go by and compare their quote with others, you will be amazed.

Update on my experience with Savannah Auto Air. I called weeks later after receiving service from Savannah Auto Air to let them know that the blower I had paid them to fix was not fix on my way to Texas. The wanted me to drive all the way back to Georgia to replace the blower. That was not going to happen. After returning from Iraq from Iraq, I am just getting my blower fixed for the second time. Total cost to get another blower is 1700 dollars. I also contacted Savannah Auto Air to give the contact to the service company I had to pay to redo a job they claim they did the first time but, Savannah Auto Air never called to confirm with the Mechanic that I was not making this story up. Took my 2013 BMW here to have the AC fix for about 600 dollars plus. My AC didn’t last 3 months. I have the same issue I had before. The only reason I haven’t taking my car back because I moved to Texas. Please do not take your luxury car here.

I went to three other shops to get my AC system recharge. Even though they were not busy they told me it would be several hours before they could get for my car if they even do it. It was not even lunchtime yet. Their prices for very expensive. I found Savannah auto air in walked in. The owner was extremely helpful and extremely nice. I explained to him my situation and he got right to work on my car and had me out of there in no time with a very fair price. I will definitely be back for all of my air conditioning needs.

0 stars isn't an option. I'd love a response from this business here, because they refuse to respond to messages left and I've been hung up on the phone 4x when simply asking if we could talk through the issues I've expressed. I can't believe this company has this high of a rating. They couldn't even honor an appointment made a week in advance or call to say they couldn't take me as scheduled. Instead I drove 45 minutes to be told the owners significant other is the scheduler and "really doesn't know what she is doing". The owner was rude, dismissive and couldn't even find an alternative day/time to fit me in, because he "I'm a mechanic and don't get involved in scheduling". At the very least w phone call the night before would have been appreciated, instead I drove 45 minutes to watch an unorganized business owner fail at customer service. No alternative option offered, no apology, and the only thing he said was "I probably shouldn't have let her schedule appointments". This is my first negative review ever. I hate doing it, but I promise it was the worst service I've seen by far from a car repair business. DONT use them, and I'm happy to provide more information if you think I'm being unfair. Terribly unorganized and incompetent. All 5 star reviews are paid for or submitted by family.

I will never use any other company for HVAC needs in any vehicle I own as long as these guys are in business. Their diagnostic fee is the most reasonable in the area and they are very efficient so you don't waste a lot of time on your initial appointment like you often would at a regular repair shop. Since all they do is HVAC repair they are truly experts in that area and it shows in their work and the time and money you save. They are honest about what they can and can't do for your specific vehicle, are patient and kind, and communicate very well about everything from technical explanations, scheduling, pricing, possible outcomes, etc. I've never had any auto repair job in which a company was so thorough on ensuring they kept my costs down. Even when they realized my issue was outside of the HVAC system itself they kindly did what they could to get things working as best they could and explained what they thought may be the best steps for me to take next and where to go to resolve the problem. Make this place your first call if you have any issue with your vehicle's A/C. I guarantee it's the best decision you can make.

Amazing place if you have any a/c issues. They looked at my car then gave me the diagnostic of what they found. I paid for the service and then order the part he fixed it the same day my air blows nice and cold ..and price was affordable..
