I had went to the shop because my car was running poorly I have an Acura Cl stype... The owner said I needed a tuneup he said he would charge me $300 just to change my spark plugs and I made sure that he was clear on that he said only the spark plugs. For 300. They ripped my bumper off my car and then told me that I had drove the car there that way which was a lie. I ended up taking my car to another shop. Come to find out was a cool pack. Don’t take your car there if you have mechanical problems they don’t know an arm from a leg. And I am a very honest person

Poor service, and will not take accountability until a lawsuit is brought up. Overpriced, bad customer service, bad mechanics and an owner and manager that has 0 respect for their clients or vehicles.

Always very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend. Never had an issue with their work. 11/1/2024. Took my car in for some belt issues. Repaired / tightened all lose belts. Kept me informed of the process of the work and surprised me with fixing a very loose / cracked front bumper from colliding with a deer, at no charge!!! They went above and beyond for me and I am forever grateful. I recommend them to all my friends and family

I would recommend this company to anyone they are amazing especially Bill from the moment I made the phone call til the time I left he was very informative gave me 2 options to choose from to fix my exhaust pipe. I picked my option he went to the back to see if he had what was needed to fix my car and had me fixed in a hour my car purs like a kitten now. Although I never got to meet the mechanic who fixed my car I would like to say thanks for such a job well done. I will continue my business with this company!!

I had learned from the Fiat dealership that my car needed brake pads soon. I'd had work done by Scott's Engines 2 Mufflers (previously when it was Meineke) and wanted to take it to them to look at the brake pads. They quickly scheduled an appointment for me and told me that I certainly needed new pad right away, since Fiat had not installed factory pads with wear indicators. They ordered the needed pads - these did have indicators for future wear. I'm very happy to have had repairs done at Scott's Engines. They expained what they planned to do, were very professional and completed the work very timely.

Felt as though put off on getting the car repaired. Then the price that was for labor was high. I do not recommend this place unless you get price given before you leave. Gelt like my friend was taken advantage of on labor because she is older.

I came here after I had heard my car making a rattle noise and lack of acceleration, they diagnosed both problems and kept me in the loop the whole time they had my car with great turnaround time. I will also mention for other females, with my old vehicle I had been to many car mechanics, all of which treated me like I didn’t know my car just due to the fact that I am young and a woman. As for here, Bill was really kind to me and answered all my questions confidently and kindly. Really great staff and pricing, will definitely be using them in the future.

This place had my boss's car for like 6 months did not fix the issue told him to come get it and when he did the car was practically destroyed cats had lived and pee d all in his race performance seat the outside paint of the car has spots so bad in it it won't buff out with wax his stainless steel piece where he took sunroof out of car to make race car has to be replace do to damage and they didn't offer to clean it or reimburse him that is not a good business to treat customers they could have done better

Scott's is the bomb! Bill keeps you informed & extremely informative of any details to billing. Cost very reasonable for repairs. They don't seem to be out to just put cash in their pockets, meaning they are honest to a fault. Rare to find in Auto repair shop. They did a great repair job. My 2010 Acura TSX, the rocker wheel & bearings came off, had it towed to Scott's bc a worker there from NJ Robbie suggested it!!! Had it towed there on Sat 3 pm, don't u know it was ready today (Monday 3 pm), so fast, EXTREMELY professional, VERY reasonable & I couldn't speak anymore highly of this place......On a scale of 1-10, they are a 20 in my book!!! I’ve always heard the restaurant rule: never eat anywhere with an empty parking lot. With auto shops, I’ve learned the opposite is true. When the lot is overflowing, it’s not a sign of popularity—it’s a sign that vehicles are piling up because they aren’t getting fixed. My truck has now spent over four months sitting in or outside this shop across just three visits, and every return visit was to fix something they didn’t do correctly the time before. Each check‑in call brings a new excuse—usually one that contradicts the last one or doesn’t make sense at all. More than once I’ve had to stop myself from asking - “Why didn’t you catch that three weeks ago when you said you were working on it?” What makes this worse is that the premium pricing never changes, even when the work has to be redone, even when the delays stretch into weeks or months, and even when the issues stem from mistakes made on their end. At this point, it feels like you’re paying for premium parking in their crowded lot in addition to sub‑premium auto work. And this isn’t just my experience. Recent reviews from other customers describe the same issues: • Vehicles sitting for weeks or months with no real progress. • Excuses that shift every time someone calls for an update. • Work that has to be redone because it wasn’t done right the first time. • People saying they’d give negative stars if they could. These aren’t isolated complaints—they form a consistent trend. I wish I had paid more attention before trusting them with my truck. A full parking lot here doesn’t mean business is booming. It means vehicles are stuck waiting on a shop that can’t keep up, can’t communicate honestly, and can’t deliver reliable work the first time—or even the second or third—while still charging top‑tier rates. And just to be clear: every visit, date, invoice, and conversation is fully documented on my end. I’m only sharing my direct experience so other customers can make an informed decision.

This was my first time using Scott’s! & I will definitely continue. I was reasonably priced & so nice! I came in for a wheel bearing replacement & as I got ready to leave, I asked if they could replace my tail light (it kept blowing them). They found a faulty wire in the tail light circuit board. Actually - I need a new board & that’s on order - but worked to make it work, so I could drive it safely! These guys are really good & Billy goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction. They are busy! But worth it!
