I was impressed with Hopper Auto. They got me right in and took care of all the issues with my air conditioning. Their offices and client waiting area is the nicest I’ve been in in an auto repair shop. I definitely recommend hopper Auto.

The service was great blew a hose from filler box on a 6.0 was beside highway therefore they had to come to me 35 minutes one way the service guy was great and quick 30 minutes from the time he arrived the truck was back running. The hose was $109 charged $708 total for fixing it. That was a little bit on the high side. I could understand a 200 service fee for coming out and doing nothing for some vehicles but if you come and done the work that fee is crazy. But had to have it done what other choices were there. Again the service and tech were great

Car brought in and had a diagnostic done because O2 sensor was throwing a code, and car was losing power intermittently. They said they visually looked at sensors. Told them to check catalytic converter, they "didn't hear it rattle" so didn't do a vacuum check to see if it was stopped up. 2 days and $300 later and car still doing same thing.

This place was great all around. I had already been to three other places and spent a small fortune. Dale informed me that my bearings were shot within 5 minutes. They found some other issues also and they made sure to inform me instead of just doing the initial work and not telling me. The customer service was outstanding and the quality of work was perfect. I will definitely use these guys for my diesel truck repair in the future and always recommend.

I will definitely recommend them to everybody. I had a flat tire that came off the rim. I called them and they had Martin come to fix it. He was there in 10-15 minutes. My spare wouldn’t hold air and Martin went the extra mile and fixed flat tire on site he was also very polite and professional.The best tire service I have ever experienced. I also talked to Dale on the phone and he was a very polite and professional guy too .I will definitely use them again! Lucky to have a good and honest business in our area.

Thank you for the brake work on my Safari van. Great place with a real family atmosphere. Office and technicians that talk to you and answer questions honestly. Up front estimate and a full inspection of the vehicle while you are there. You can wait and play with the big dogs if you like, or watch the big TV in the waiting area. Spotless restroom too if you need it. Thanks again I will recommend to anyone. This is a review of the recent work done on my Safari van on. 2/28/25. I had the lower intake manifold the valve covers and the starter replaced by Hopper Auto. The van is a real pita to work on and they did a great job. I'm a little on the fussy side with repairs because I used to do my own work but I cannot physically do it at the moment. They made sure I was happy with everything and that it was a great honest experience. I will definitely recommend using this shop for your auto and truck repairs.

Two days before I was getting ready to head back to Vermont, the noise coming from the front drivers side wheel was starting get worse. I called this shop to see if they could get me in to check the problem. They got me in 45 mins. later and s diagnosed the problem and showed me the damage to the brake pads, frozen caliper and damaged caliper boots. 2 1/2 hours later, I was all set with new front brake pads, rotors and calipers. Everyone at the shop was friendly, accommodating and professional! They very much saved the day for our trip back to Vermont just in time to beat the approaching winter storm. The waiting room off the shop was comfortable and stocked with some sweets, coffee and wifi! I highly recommend this shop for any automotive work you made need! Took grandson's truck to diagnose check engine light, for oil change and tire rotation. Scott the service manager sent me the inspection results with recommendations. My grandson and I went to the shop and Trey, the mechanic, took the time to explain the issues in detail and made additional recommendations for repairs. Since the truck was already over 25 years old, we were not sure if we wanted to invest the money in repairs. A few days later, Scott called and said that Trey had put an additive in the oil to see if it would break down the buildup in the cylinder and piston ring that was causing the issue. Because of Trey and Scott's persistence and knowledge of engines, it saved my grandson thousands of dollars. The truck is running great. The Hopper Road location is very clean, the service people are exceptional and knowledgeable and the location is even more convenient for me and my family. My family has taken our vehicles to American & Import Auto for over 15 years and we will continue to do business with them for all our service needs. Thank you, Scott and Trey - we sincerely appreciate you going above and beyond - and thinking outside the box - to save us time and money!

If you want to know what real customer service is supposed to look like, go to American Import & Auto. From the moment I called, they answered the phone promptly and were incredibly kind and professional. They were able to squeeze me into their schedule quickly, which was such a relief. While my vehicle was being looked at, they welcomed me to sit in the lobby so I could work, gave me the Wi-Fi password, and even had snacks and beverages available, such a thoughtful touch. The entire space was spotless. The lobby was clean and comfortable, and the restroom was absolutely spic and span, which says a lot about how they run their business overall. What really stood out was the customer service. The team was genuinely friendly, took the time to answer all of my questions, and explained what was going on with my vehicle in multiple ways so I felt confident making decisions. They never pressured me and were completely accommodating when I wanted to adjust next steps. They truly went the extra mile by stepping in when multiple O’Reilly Auto Parts locations refused to replace my battery; even though it was clearly under warranty. They actually took the time to call O’Reilly directly and tried to work with them to get the warranty honored. When O’Reilly still wouldn’t budge, American Import & Auto replaced my battery at no charge just to make sure I was taken care of. That level of service and integrity is rare. They have absolutely earned a customer for life. I will no longer be taking my vehicle to the dealership for maintenance even though I have a service plan, because this is the level of care, transparency, and service I’m willing to pay for. Highly recommend.
