I had quite a few issues with my truck. Spent 2 weeks trying to figure it out myself, just throwing parts at it. Towed my truck in and I was out in less than 24 hours. They fixed exactly what they needed to and got me up and on the road! Really fair and honest prices. I know my vehicle needs a few more fixes but they didnt try and sell me on other repairs. They fixed what I asked about and I will definitely use them again!

Brought my car here and they took 5 days to look at it saying it was rusted out and they needed more time to work on it. (Mind you it’s a 8 year old car) Then they called back and said they needed a special tool to get my spark plugs off, then to call back two days later and say the spark plug is “welded” into my motor and they can’t get it out so I will need to get a used motor to replace my perfectly fine motor (when I brought it in) because the spark plug is in my motor. Then they told me I couldn’t buy my own used motor and have them put it in because it’s less money they get for labor. They didn’t want to do what they needed to do and trashed my motor. They don’t do honest work and they just wanted to keep my motor and put a trash junk yard motor into my car. Maybe they are good for tires but nothing else. Then I decided to tow my car somewhere else and I get there with my tow service and they say they don’t have my car on the lot.

The Canton Goodyear has the best, overall services. I have coming in for all automotive services for 10 yrs. plus. Wait time is very reasonable, even when they are busy! I highly recommend!!!!!

Best service I have seen anywhere in a very long time. I was in there for a couple hours and was just there to get my new tires that I ordered put on. I ended up getting brakes and an oil change done as well. The manager had a good report with many of the customers who came in. He solved problems for customers without much effort for either party. I asked prices and everybody new prices without giving a run around like lots of places do. Also, I've priced around oil changes and everybody lately is super expensive. They were reasonably priced. It was refreshing to experience good customer service for a change, and not feel like you're getting bent over from an auto shop. Good job guys. I'll be back.

Took my car in for a tire leak. They said there was a nail in it and patched it from the inside. The next day, the same tire was low and I took it back in. They took the tire off and discovered the rim had a crack in it. Since the rim was off, both myself and the owner looked at the tire and discovered the tire had never been patched, and that they lied and said it had been. I said you told me you patched the tire, and he said, I didn't tell you that, the service girl told you and she's not here today. I said regardless of who told me, I paid for the service and it wasn't done, and I was lied to. He didn't seem to care of about the lying at all. I would beware of this shop.

I found this auto shop after doing an online search for a better experience than the dealer. I have not been disappointed! I came here with a recommended (expensive) repair from the dealer. I took my car to Sheldon auto. They looked at the problem and resolved it quickly. It was a simple fix. This showed me that they are trustworthy and kind as well! Everytime I come in they are friendly and helpful. I've brought several others to this shop and recommend them to everyone. I am a lifelong customer.

Everyone needs an honest mechanic. These guys fit that bill and then some. They diagnose the problem and tell you how it is. No high pressure sales tactics. No ‘extra’ repairs on top of what’s needed. They’re also the fastest shop I’ve ever had work done at. I can’t imagine taking my cars anywhere else. Honesty & Integrity, along with quality work.

I have been a customer for over 20 years. Excellent service and honest quality high level repairs at a fair price. I would not trust my vehicle repairs to anyone else. Recently I was quoted a high dollar repair because of a siezed part from a tire repair place while getting new tires. Skeptical, I declined and took my vehicle to Sheldon Road Auto and their team freed the stuck part and finished the alignment without the necessary high dollar part replacement. I bought 4 new tires from goodyear including hazard protection. I picked up a nail and went to the Sheldon rd. location to get a patch/plug. The tech asked if I was leaving the car? I said no, I have stuff to do in a couple hours. He said it probably be not fixed that day. I asked to make an appointment and he said they don't make appointments. I would just have to leave my car for an undisclosed amout of time. Goodyear shouldn't need my car for hours or days just to plug a tire. This is their way of not standing behind their products and denying warranty work. Quality = job security. Basic customer service is required if you expect this customer to return.

I have been a customer for 5-6 years. Always received excellent service. I won't go anywhere else. No hard sell, like the CHAIN repair facilities. I also like to support the local small business in my community. Honest, and a pleasure to deal with. Employees are dedicated to their trade. My vehicles have always been ready when promised, and the quality of the parts, and repairs are excellent. Repair cost are also very competitive with other repair facilities I have searched for many years to find a place like Sheldon Road Automotive. i strongly suggest you give them a try for your next automotive service. Reposting since they removed my first review. Be sure to check their yelp page as they cannot remove reviews they do not like. My tire had a slow leak on the passenger side in the rear for a few weeks so I decided it would be a good idea to have it checked out. They said they would get to it the next day and they did, the tire apparently had a nail in it so they removed it and fixed the leak. Fast forward to the next day, I have them a call to inform them that they had scratched the paint off of my wheel in over 8 different spots. Daryl, the person I spoke with (who was also the person who worked on my tire) asked if I could bring the car in to be inspected. I had to have someone bring my car in as I was not home. I received a call from the person who I had bring it in and they told me they weren't going to do anything about it. I immediately called back up there to speak with Daryl and he rudely informed me that he didn't do it and it was not his fault. (Keep in mind the car had only been driven to the tire shop and back in the past 2 weeks). I told him that they were the only ones who worked on the car and there was no way it could have been someone else, he denied it again saying they won't do anything to fix the scratches. Instead of claiming responsibility, they (Daryl) claimed a ghost had done it, wow! All in all, if you have wheels you care about DO NOT get them serviced here, they have no regard for your property and will deny any wrongdoing.

Came to this horrible shop to have some minor work done. They broke my heat shield under the car and broke the edge of the plastic off my tail light. I went back and talk with him about repairing the heat shield under the car. They told me it wasn’t a necessary part and they were just rip it off. Horrible service and horrible training! I have told everybody I know not to go here. I would never return.

This was the only shop in the area that actually gave me a clear, honest price for my brake service—not just a vague range. They took the time to show me exactly what my brakes looked like, explained what was happening, and even compared it to how they should look. Most places don’t let you see or understand what’s being fixed, so that transparency meant a lot. They also fit me in the same day and got started on my car right away when I arrived. The whole team was kind, professional, and efficient. For context, I called several other shops (including Firestone) and every one of them only gave me a range of $400–$600—with no clear reason for the price difference. Getting a straightforward, flat price here was a huge relief. Thank you for your honesty and great service!

Dropped car off, awaiting call. Will update review when contact is made again. Update: primary problem wasn't resolved but I learned of other issues with my vehicle. Will bring vehicle back to have those issues fixed. They are reliable for minor or moderate repairs and maintenence but seek a larger shop or dealer if you have a major issue.
