I have worked with shift transmission 2 different times. I had my transmission rebuilt in 2019. In 2021, they fixed my torque converter and replaced my motor and transmission mounts. I am now coming back my 3rd time to fix another issue that others couldn't. These guys are honest which is rare for a mechanic. They are also affordable. They are experts in transmissions. I highly recommend them over other mechanics.

Extremely professional and honest. I originally took my car to Lexus and they told me I needed a new transmission and wanted to charge me 1000’s of dollars. I told this shop what Lexus said and they instantly said that’s not the problem! Your car has a default with the computer and Lexus knows that. I can have your problem fixed. They fixed the problem and my car runs so good it’s amazing!!! I could say even more great things about this shop but I will stop now.

I will never use them again! First off the financing company they use is trash! If your balance isn’t paid in full within 100 days you are charged almost a 142% interest rate on the STARTING amount. Secondly I completed one application through the financing company and Shift Transmission submitted two additional applications without telling me. I had to reach out to the financing company to figure out what happened. Third, they claimed to have a two week turnaround time and I received my car three days AFTER the THREE week mark. They offered no sympathy to me not having a car and did nothing to appease their lateness. Fourth, my car was missing items when I received it and the mileage was significantly higher than where it was when I dropped the car off. It was obvious someone had been in it as the seat was leaned back, the change cup in my arm rest was on the floor on the passenger side and there was a empty child’s water bottle inside my glove compartment. The car was cleaned out besides aux cords, car charges, registration and a pair of glasses BEFORE we dropped the car off. When we called they stated they did not take anything and don’t know what happened unless the car was left there unlocked. In their shop. They claimed to only drive the car about 10 miles to test drive yet they wrote down the car had 164,699 miles when it was dropped off and we picked it up with 164,703. That’s a 4 mile difference notice 10. Fifth and final issue: This shop was very unprofessional throughout the entire ordeal. We had to wait almost an hour to pick up the car and leave because their system wasn’t updated and we couldn’t pay the remaining amount that wasn’t financed. They held our card the entire time while their children ran amuck! I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

I originally took my car into another shop where they told me I needed a new transmission and would cost me almost 5,000 dollars. I went to Swift for a second opinion and they informed me my transmission was fine, I just had a worn mount. 300 dollars later and my car drives and shifts much more smooth than before! Shift Transmission rebuilt my Ford Explorer transmission three years ago and it's still shifting good today. I visited them yesterday because i wanted them to look at my new car transmission. I had went to another shop but I remember shift transmission did an amazing job with my truck. They look at my new car and said it was just a sensor. It cost me a $100 and now my car is running great. The other shop said a needed a new transmission that would cost me $4000. Thanks Shift Transmission for your honesty. Keep treating people fair.

Towed my brother's Town & Country van to them. I had it for a week and drove it all around. I stopped working, no shifting or anything. Towed to Shift Transmission. They found out it was low 4 quarts, I don't know how I missed that, but it happens. Anyway, $150 later, 4 more quarts, few test drives and it was on the road again. I was beyond pleased. I was really bracing for the worst, some other shop possibly could have taking me on a new transmission ride. These guys were honest, direct, fast and I love it. Oh, I love the text their system sends you, it has the diagnosis, description, estimate, and you can approve the repair on your phone.

Do NOT take your vehicle to Shift transmission! We dropped our 2019 Fod Expedition Max off last week for repairs, and this joker drove it out to the club Friday evening. Can you even imagine?? We picked it first this AM and will make sure we tell EVERYONE we know about our experience.

Took the car in multiple times. First time they fixed it I only made it about 100 miles before it overheated. Second time they called me to tell me it was ready for pickup, but when I got there they in fact weren’t ready so wasted my time. The third time they had fixed it it was a little rough, but they said that was normal and no issue when their mechanic test drove it. I called today and was told I was out of warranty, but could bring it in. I guess the 2 year warranty on the receipt is a suggestion. They have a 24,000 mile warranty that is somewhere else. I’m done with them. Take your car to certified transmission to get a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty in writing.

I paid to have a transmission rebuilt and it has not worked properly ever. I took it back several times even leaving it for over 2 days and was told that it drove fine. After being told the same in 19 emails I took it to several professional well established transmission shops to be told that the transmission was not rebuilt but a salvage transmission was installed. The transmission leaks. The pan shows no signs of removal as the bolts show no signs of any type of tool used on them. That says not even a filter replacement was established. The actions are in fact deception for money has been established and is the key element for fraud. Stay away from these people unless you have nothing but time and deep pockets.

Let’s start off with the owner Brian Bosley! This man is the most unprofessional business owner. He will lie to you and say your car is being worked on and it’s not. Then when you start asking questions or calling to much he blocks you. All while having your car! Then he doesn’t even communicate when the car will be done or even when it is finished. He had our car for two months and kept saying it would be done. We popped up at his shop and his workers said they hadn’t stated it yet! When I first had the transmission replaced it went out two weeks after having it done. We had it towed to his shop. It took BRIAN 3 months to get the car finished and he tried charging for the labor after we had payed extra the first time for a warranty! In the 3 months he had the car the rims and tires were stolen off of it and he left my car sitting on the rotors for a couple weeks! DO NOT spend your money with Bosley !!!! It’s not worth the headache

I was referred to Shift by a friend after experiencing what I thought was transmission failure. I assumed the worst and honestly began shopping for a new vehicle being the potential high cost of repair compared to overall value of my vehicle just wouldn’t make sense. After completing an inspection at no charge, Shift determined that it was not the transmission. Even though Shift specializes in transmissions, they replaced my alternator that same day at an affordable cost. The team at Shift were honest, knowledgeable and provided efficient service. Yeah this place kept my car for 2 months, charge me $2,700, and then destroyed my car. I would not bring my enemies car to this place. This is the worst transmission shop. My car lasted 6 months after they put a used transmission in it destroyed the transmissions bolts. Ended up running the transmission they put in 5 months after they put it in due to them wallering the bowl tolls out of the transmission and motor. They then just crammed some trash in with the bolt so that it would tighten up long enough for them to get it out of their shop. Don't ever go to freaking rip off The dude is a rip off

I took my Eclipse in here after the transmission suddenly decided to grenade itself in a quiktrip parking lot. Their price was very reasonable and it only took them a week to get it done. The owner and other mechanic were both very helpful and understanding. When i got my car back, it drove like it never broke. Highly recommend taking your car here for any transmission issues. These guys do good work and they don't dick you around on pricing!
