Brought my 98 4runner in with a pretty heavy oil leak. They cleaned up my engine, replaced my valve covers and even tuned up my belts to have my car running better then it ever had. They were significantly cheaper then the other shops I called and had it done by 5 the same day. Highly recommend these guys and will be using them in the future.

I just want to say I love this place! A friend of mine, an older woman, has been going to Sho's for many years, and recommended them to me when I moved to Portland. They've helped her with small things for extremely good prices, and even been kind to give her discounts. For me, they helped me with a belt slipping, that was causing my battery to turn off and my power steering to no longer work. The first time they fixed it, the belt slipped out again, because the original part was at fault. I went back to them, and they replaced the whole thing only at cost of the part. Which was really nice of them! This time, my ac had been out on one side of my car, I thought I had an oil leak. Turned out, the oil leak was just a loose drain plug. But they fixed my ac for a very affordable price, and it was done within one day of my bringing it in! I highly recommend. Rod is extremely kind, and the whole staff are very friendly. I can't thank them enough, for my getting quality repairs at affordable and reasonable prices, AND they are completely honest about what is going on with your car. Very respectful, no nonsense, and they get the job done.

Rodney is trustworthy, hard-working and affordable—just what you need in a neighborhood mechanic. He’s resolved issues big and small for a few different vehicles for us, and he’s always the first place we call. The only reason for four vs. five stars is that he’s not always available, and your car might be there longer than at a larger shop that can provide faster turn-around. Otherwise, you can’t go wrong having him look at your car.

Sho's is owned by Rod, the owner, and Mike and Glen work with him and Glen is an old school dude who has been around forever, I think he told me once he has worked there for over 30 years.....my kind of guy!! These men are not interested is ripping you off, they're only interested in repairing your car to your satisfaction and at a reasonable cost. They also work on classic old cars like mine....a 1947 Chevrolet Coupe. I really like Sho's because they are only about 10 blocks from my home and I have been in the neighborhood for 46 years! These dudes are awesome and honest.

We just moved to Portland from Texas and worked the hell out of our Toyota Corolla on the 30 hour drive here. No problems on the journey, but last night around 5:15 I noticed we were leaking a rainbow shiny fluid from under the car. I called and explained the problem, then raced to get it in before closing at 6. Rod was super transparent about timing and pricing and was able to get the oil leak fixed less than 24 hours later. Super affordable, nice, and fast! I know where we'll be taking our car from now on.
