I have been going here for about two years to get my oil changed. Most recent oil change ran me $117.43 which was about $30 more than previous. Had my breaks done here which ran me about $1000. My breaks squeak every time I use them. I told them about this and I was told “drive your car on the highway to burn them in.” It’s been almost three months and I took my car in today to have them reinstall my breaks. They broke a piece on my car and tried to charge me $170 for the piece they broke claiming the plastic part was old. They eventually comped this piece. When I arrived to pick up my car I was promised that the breaks would not squeak anymore. Well, just got back from the gym and my breaks again squeak when I use them. I would love to upload a video of the breaks squeaking, but I’m not sure if that’s possible. I called Subaru’s customer service line about this but Simply Subaru’s is not affiliated with Subaru. It’s unfortunate this was my experience and I will not be returning as a customer.

Connor was a super person to work with! was making a trip from Wisconsin. Was concerned about a clicking noise at slow speeds, Conner diagnosed my issue as CV joint issue that was common for a 10 year old 124,000 mile Outback. made an appointment 4 weeks ahead. Simply Subaru is an honest shop. They take the time to accurately diagnose the problem before making repairs. If I can't fix it myself, I go to Simply Subaru. Coming from a backyard mechanic, I recommend this shop to anyone, especially people who don't know much about cars. I was driving through Denver on a road trip from the east to the west. I had remnants of a previously installed lift kit on my forester. It was causing issues because it was not installed properly. I ordered an ADF 1.5" kit as a replacement and had it delivered to this location. I also needed new front axles and rear struts. The Simply Subaru's team was extremely helpful and enthusiastic about getting this work done for me and in a timely manner. They provided guidance and suggestions for getting it done. I only had to hang out in town long enough for all the parts and the kit to be delivered. They went above and beyond to help me right away because I was living out of my fozz while traveling. I feel like anyone else back home would have put me off several weeks. It took a few hours to finish the work with top marks and I was back on the road to finish my road trip. Simply Subaru's is a certified ADF installer and they did an outstanding job. You can leave your Subaru in their care with high expectations and satisfaction.

They replaced my engine in a reasonably time and I found their rates to be fair and within my financial plan. They were diligent in addressing all my concerns. Even when a problem came up later, they provided me with a rental car to make sure everything was handled properly. They delivered precisely what I required for my car repairs, which is often not the case elsewhere. I couldn't be more satisfied with how my car engine turned out, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing Subaru repairs in the future. Thank you Dave & Connor . I love this shop! Everyone is great at explaining mechanical issues without making you feel bad for not knowing. I took my car in twice for different repairs and both times they went above and beyond and fixed more than I asked, and didn’t charge me for it. One was a window that would stick down so they reset it for me. Then my heat shield was loose, after some DIY attempts to quiet it I thought I might have to remove it. They welded it back in place for me even though I hadn’t mentioned it. It’s the little things. I will only take my Subaru here, period. Thanks guys!

Working with Simply Subaru’s is always incredibly pleasant, honest, and consistent. I’ve gone to Dave for work for over 5 years now and time and time again he blows every other mechanic out of the water! Not only is he reliable, builds a team that feels trusting and honest, but is consistently raising the bar on providing the best quality of care and work. If there was ever an issue with something after he serviced it or I had a question he is always quick to say “bring it by the shop” he is adamant about making sure your car is safe and the work is top quality!! I brought my Forester in because I suspected a wheel bearing was going bad. I also heard another noise, which a second shop later confirmed was related to the same wheel bearing issue. At Simply Subaru, instead of diagnosing the issue I came in for, they immediately tried to upsell me on a list of "problems" such as dirty antifreeze that supposedly meant I needed a new radiator, A/C leaks, and several dirty filters, including the cabin air filter I had replaced just a month and a half earlier. Only after all that did they claim my brakes were unsafe. They told me I had just 1 millimeter of pad in the front and 2 millimeters in the rear, and said they could not road test or investigate the wheel bearing until those were addressed. I declined their services, but they still tried to charge me even though they never diagnosed the actual issue I brought the car in for. I had to push back multiple times before they finally agreed to drop the charge. Once home, I measured the brake pads myself using calipers. I found 6.25 millimeters in the front and 3.29 millimeters in the rear, just beginning to hit the squeal indicator. Photos to prove it. A few days later, I took the car to another local shop. They confirmed the issue was in fact a bad wheel bearing and replaced it. They also measured the brakes and found 5.73 millimeters in the front and 3.01 millimeters in the rear. They recommended replacing the rear pads and rotors soon, since the rotors were below spec, but said the front pads were at about 40% and rotors, while also below spec to be turned, were not urgent and could wait tell the pads were changed to be replaced. They reviewed Simply Subaru’s report and said most of it was exaggerated or unnecessary, clearly intended to increase the bill. They inspected the filters and noted that the cabin air filter looked almost new and did not need replacement. The engine air filter was a little dirty, but not in urgent need of service. I am sure others who do not know much about cars have been taken advantage of by this shop. All I can say is, do not take your vehicle here.

Dave helped me solve a very complex wiring issue and also helped me cleanup and install some questionable and possibly dangerous work done by a previous mechanic. I’m confident in the work they do here because they back it up as well! Plus Lucy is such a sweet shop pup!

I "simply" won't take my Forrester anywhere else! These guys are excellent all around: fast, friendly, professional, and very reasonably priced. Every experience I've had with them has been stress-free. They're honest and I never feel like they're pressuring me to buy things I don't need like I have at other mechanics. Recommend 100%.
