Really nice people work here. I found them on the Internet and by driving past several times and I always see cars in the lot so I figured he must do good business. I got an estimate for my Jeep in a matter of minutes of course had I known I wouldn't have left I would have waited but the guy was super nice and I will be back.

Went to have my alternator replaced, I was a automotive mechanic for 30 years but due to spending the last 8 months in cancer treatment I was unable to fix it myself, so I took it to Smith's..I had priced the alternator (127$) myself and looked at book time for the job (.8hrs) before taking it to them on a recommendation..they charged me almost 275$ for the alternator and almost 200$ labor....NEVER AGAIN..I understanding people need to make a profit but this was ridiculous. I talked about it with them and they lowered the price 60$.

We are Srs. On a fixed income and feel advantage is often taken. However, Smith’s was not only fair to us and gave an estimate before starting the work, but they also completed all repairs in a timely manner. We will definitely be going back when necessary!

The pricing was less than I expected. The service and quality of work were top notch. If you ever get stranded on the highway near Dayton, have them take your car to Smith's Auto Repair. My fuel pump was on its last leg and after stalling 20 times on the highway, I had to pull over in Dayton while driving home to Maryland. I got a room and drove my car to Smith's Auto Repair. They were honest and got the job done in less than 24 hours, [Fuel Pump and Filter were inside tank] They dropped me off and picked me up at the motel. I can't say enough about this place. My car made it all the way home with no problems. Thank you Smith's Auto.

Been going there for almost a year now. He's all about business and does exactly what he says never trying to sell you something extra you don't need so the price he gives is what you pay. He and his mechanic are very knowledgeable and explain things so you can understand. Been a pleasure and highly recommend them.

Winter 2024: My vehicle had a terrible oil leak and I knew just who to call. Smith’s Auto Repair diagnosed the problem and replaced the engine valve cover gasket set, and the ignition engine oil pressure switch. They also cleaned the engine which was an oily mess. Once again, I am a satisfied customer. Thanks Daniel & Crew for repairing my old vehicle, making it run like new again. You’re the best! Summer 2021: My vehicle constantly stalled. The throttle body was dirty, needing to be cleaned because that condition was restricting airflow to the engine. Also had a hole in the radiator and a coolant leak issue. They did an excellent job. My aging vehicle runs like new again. Thanks Smith’s Auto Repair. I totally recommend them.

Smith's Auto Repair was great! I needed the whole cv axel replaced on my 1500 Ram. I had the part already didn't want to go through the hassle of doing it myself. These guys got my truck in fast and they were more than reasonable on price! Great work super friendly would definitely recommend and will go back again!

Thankful for Daniel and his team. They got my car in the next morning and fixed two brake pads at a very reasonable price. I had another small issue I asked them to look at and when I left I realized they fixed it without charging me. I’m very thankful for that as brake pads are expensive enough. Would go again!

I brought my vehicle to Smith Auto Repair for power steering line repairs. Shortly after their work, my power steering return/cooler line failed. A second licensed repair shop inspected the vehicle and documented in writing that the line had been cut in two places and needed full replacement. When I confronted Smith Auto Repair, the owner asked his mechanic if they cut the line, and the mechanic denied it. The owner immediately defended his mechanic despite clear written evidence from another shop and the physical damage to the line itself. This was extremely disappointing and felt dishonest. They only issued a partial refund and refused to take responsibility for the full repair or the additional costs I had to pay for transportation and parts. Because the vehicle was driven without power steering fluid due to this failure, I may now be facing further mechanical damage. Mistakes happen — but refusing accountability and defending poor workmanship is unacceptable. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience.
