Spoke to Juan on 7/7/25 at 1:53 PM and he looked up a thermostat for 2019 chevy silverado and they don't have any in stock. He recommended to go to Clark Chev in McAllen, TX. He did not know the operating temp for this vehicle either. Very incompetent!~ You can call me if you'd like South Texas GMC to discuss more.

This is the second service visit for my 2023 GMC Sierra. Both have been recall items. The first visit was for a software update and I wasn't thrilled. I believe the software update was performed but the GMC app didn't indicate anything happened. This recent visit was the L87 engine recall. I'm not sure GMs solution makes sense. As I understand it my truck was I identified as most like having an engine produced during production runs with defective parts. My engine passed inspection and got an oil change with 0-40W oil. Now the new recommend oil for my truck. I understand my warranty for the engine has been extended. Not sure my engine is going to be good going forward. The main issue I have with South Texas GMC is that they indicate my truck will be washed and it never has happened. If fact, the first visit I needed to clean mud from the floor mat that was not there before.
