I've been going to this shop for years. They have great service and good used and new tires. However, I give them a 4 star due to their unorganized parking. It's tough that their shop is off a busy road, then they allow customers to drive in and park their vehicles any kind of way. It has been like this for years. Today, there was a commercial truck with an extended bed parked slanted instead of straight. While attempting to leave the shop focusing on not reversing intothe heavy traffic, I side swipe my driver door and broke my driver's side mirror due to the bed of the commercial vehicle. No owners or employee came to check to see if everything was okay or even attempt to rearrange parking afterwards. Parking needs to be controlled there. Commercial vehicles or trucks with longer beds should have a different location to park in. As a customer you have to worry about exiting their shop with heavy traffic as well as having little or no assistance with exiting their loaction with so many unorganized parked vehicles there.

Best place to get tires and rims in Richmond. A local business, not a chain. They will work with you, keep it real with you, and maybe negotiate. You can even talk to the owner Julio. They will get you new tires and even fit them with rims for you, or put on used tires for $40, or plug a tire for $8. And if your car needs some body work take it to the back of the lot to the body shop for more deals that will get your ride back like new.

They tried to steal my tires. I had to put a different size tire on my car until more came from online. I still had 2 good tires in the other size and explicitly told them this. When they were finished my tires were gone and all the employees were somehow clueless. I had to go find my tires myself under a bunch of other tires they threw on top to hide them. These were expensive tires bridgestone for "17 rim they cost me $168 each and were brand new as well as the other two tires I blew out! So they pretty much tried to steal almost $400 in tires from me.

Ought 2 tires within 2 months. 1st tire kasted 2months being I really don't drive my 71 impala that much. That tire got bubbles. Went back last Saturday got another that 1 lasted 30mi uses otw back home. No potholes going under speed limit and it went flat and busted on the Inside wall of tire. Called them and they did nothing. Will never buy a tire from them again. No stars

Best tire shop in Richmond. I went to several places to get my aluminum rim bend fixed. Meadowbrook Tire, my go to, referred me to Southside Tire because he has the machine to fix the bend. They took care of me at an affordable price. I remember this spot from a few years ago. I had them fix a tire on my Audi. Another shop later tried to tell me the last person that took my tire off cross threaded the lug nuts and they couldn't get it off. I took it back to Southside and the took it off. It wasn't cross thread. That's when I knew they know what they're doing here. Thanks Southside!

-Southside Tire and Rim - True Story: We were hired by Call Save USA to install phones for Southside Tire and Rim, we install 2 phones and ran an additional cable. We were contracted at a per hr rate. Call Save USA are now refusing to us and this company still using their services. My partners and tech will share their experiences in other posts.

Took my car in for a tire fix. Simple enough. As I have custom rims they are few people who will repair the tires because of the rims. Wonderful job on the tire, when he put it back on he did not put it on properly which threw the balance of my car off. I ended up having to take it back to the original rim installers and then the dealorship to have my car realigned. Ridiculous waste of a simple repair I ended spending more money. Just that one young man was horrible the rest was great

I trust them because they're local and honest, I had a nail in my tire and my rent was bent and my tires were halfway rotting away and instead of trying to force me to get new tires or even buy a whole new rim he bent it back, pulled the nailed, and patched it for $15 when a replacement used tire usually is$40 to $45 at most places when you buy all 4... so I will be returning when I need to replace all of them soon... and when I called them they actually answered the phone and I was done in 15 minutes, so it was convenient and quick and they were courteous too

Went to 2 big name tire and rim dealership, noticed southside tires and rims on my way. After noticing an array of rims on display I immediately called. Very friendly customer service and helpful. Ordered four black rims and four 18 inch tires the service was fast friendly and the price was cut in half. I would definitely recommend Please check out before you go to other known rim shops in the area. They went above and beyond. They made me feel welcome where the other two did not.

Mounted and balanced new tires for me on aftermarket rims. I showed up with dry rotten tires on rims and a set of 4 new tires. Took maybe 15 minutes for them to unload and load them back into my SUV to bring home. I recommend this company. The tire technicians seem very competent.
