Honestly, I am being nice with the 2 stars. I visited the location on Gordon Drive 2 times in one week. The first visit, I had to buy a new full size spare tire for my CR-V. Very friendly gentleman helped me out, great customer service, left happy. Three days later I came back due to a grinding sound coming from the replaced tire, hoping it just needed to be tightened on or something wrong with that specific spare tire because I did not have the issue 3 days ago when my tire went flat. We took it in with about 3 hours left from closing and the mechanic gave me the run around that they didn't have time to look at it, and I didn't budge. This is the only vehicle I have. He took the car in and about 20 minutes in, he says that it was the pressure of my engine moving forward when braking and the exhaust making the rubbing-grinding sound coming from around the tire. He referred me to Sioux Muffler due to them not being able to repair it. First off, DON'T advertise TOTAL CAR CARE if you can't do the whole car care. Second, don't say walk-in's welcome, when CLEARLY you don't want to honor that. And third, I took it to another service center (not Sioux muffler) and they said it WAS NOT the exhaust or the engine even moving forward. It took them 20 minutes to diagnose AND fix it. Total joke to even go to Square tire anymore. If you don't arrive there an hour prior to them opening, they will sound like they don't have time EVER to get anyone done that are walk-ins. Sorry, NOT sorry.

I brought my vehicle in (has been sitting for 6 months, it would kill randomly and only just got battery in to bring it in) told them about this problem. They looked and fixed what they said was wrong. Here's the kicker, they told me that a spring in my suspension broke, and quoted me 2200 for repair. Decided against it, and drove off in the car. Car now makes a VERY loud clunking noice that had NOT been there before. I called and asked why it's doing this.they said it's the broken spring. If the spring was broken, I would have been hearing it long before I brought it in. Brought it to a second mechanic and he said there is definitely foul play when he took a look at it. Will NOT go back, and will DEFINITELY not recommend to anyone.

Was stranded in Sioux City as an out of towner at wits end with all 5 studs sheared off of one of the hubs on my car. I called these guys and asked if there was any way they could fix me up short notice, saying I’d pay whatever it would cost. They were able to take my car in right off the back of the tow truck with no appointment, gave me a quote for an unbelievably fair price, and had me back on the road in less than 2 hours. Can tell there are good people running this place, and I wouldn’t hesitate taking my business there again. Thank you square tire!

I recently took my car in to get 4 new tires and an oil change. Paid for the tires and oil change when I picked it up later that evening. When I started the car, the engine made a god awful noise, my engine light came on, and the dash unformed me of low oil pressure. I double-checked the receipt and yes, they had “done an oil change.” I went back in and informed the gentleman at the counter. He then told me to go back and pull the car to the garage and he would let somebody know that I was coming. I drove it to the garage (which I now know I probably shouldn’t have done considering there was no oil and could’ve wrecked my car) And a guy came out to check the oil. He informed me that I had no oil and that they looked like there may be a leak. I did not have a leak before coming in. He had me go in and sit down while they checked it out. About 20 minutes later I was called to the counter. The man at the counter told me that the plug that holds my oil and must’ve been pinched, which resulted in all my oil draining out. I’d like to know how nobody noticed oil draining out of my car while it was in the garage. On the receipt it even has a checklist and one of the items is CHECK TO SEE IF THERE ARE LEAKS. Whatever. Took my car home. The next morning I got in my car and it again told me I needed to change my oil, so again I called Square Tire and they had me bring it back in before work. Turns out all they had to do was reset my dashboard. But again, on that check list it says RESET DASH. Two simple things, that if they had follow directions, wouldn’t have been an issue. I was recommended to them by so many people, but I will not recommend them to anybody else.

Good Salesman, but service after the sale matters. Purchased new tires for two vehicles, they did not have time to do the complimentary wheel alignment at time of install. Then when we returned to finish the wheel alignment and rotate after 5,000 miles, they are too busy. They then suggest to keep cars overnight. Discouraging us from taking care of our investment.

Dropped car off at 7:40am for 4 new tires around 11:45 called to see if car was done told me still waiting to do alignment but the new tires where on . Went down at 3:30 to see if car was done but they we’re still waiting to do alignment. Ended up just taking my car payed a lot for four new tires happy with them but service was really slow . I will end up just paying someone else to do alignment some where else and opt out of the free one there .

Always friendly and courteous! Wait times aren't too terribly long. Competitive pricing, no manipulation into spending more ("if it were MY family in that vehicle, I would do such and such. . ) Recommend!

Went for oil change and tire rotation, the next day the passenger side rear tire started loosing pressure. Found a sheet metal screw in it plus the sensors were not working correctly. Square tire won’t take responsibility even though their building is covered in sheet metal.

Good price on my tires but they don't have a system in place for appointments and they took a long time to change the tires on my car. The employee told me it would be an hour and a half to two hours so I didn't line up a ride I just walked across the street to get lunch and took my time. Two hours later I walked back thinking it would be done soon and then spent the next hour and fourth five minutes waiting in their lobby for them to finish. So all in all it was almost twice as long as they quoted so not a very nice experience.

Would not recommend anyone to come here. The only reason they got this 1 star rating is so I can contribute to the reviews. Use to take my cars here all the time. For small tune ups and fixes. Bought a new car in wanting to fix a small noise coming from the engine. Drives perfectly fine, noise was more irritating than harmful. I got priced out over $900 for the quote and said it would be a 5 hour job. I figured it was just a difficult location to repair. Better judgment told me get a second quote. Lets just say my issue got fixed within a hour and for $700 less somewhere else. I don’t know if they are just inexperienced or crooked but believe me when I say, they will never get my business again.

I was very impressed by their integrity, clear communication, timeliness, and customer service! I purchased new tires from this location last year. Recently, I noticed a shimmy with one of the tires and an odd noise coming from a different tire as well. These repairs were not related to the new tires in any way, but I wanted to have it looked at by them anyway. Their mechanics looked at it in a timely manner and called me after diagnosing the problem to give me an estimate of costs. I gave them the green light to begin repairing. A few hours later, they called me again and told me that after a final test drive post-fixing, they had discovered the problem was actually coming from a different part of the vehicle. Mike explained it in easy-to-understand terms to someone who is NOT mechanically inclined. He apologized for their "misdiagnosis," but he also said they were going to order the new part, not charging me for the old part OR the labor required to put it on!

Called today to see about trying to get in some time this week for brakes. Experiences with other places usually about a week out for appointments. Service tech said they were starting to catch up and could fit me in today. Dropped of my vehicle and got it back in just over an hour and a half. Price was very reasonable too. Will be coming back for my car's other needs as well! Great staff, great work and good prices.

I took my car in and was originally quote $1,000 (which would have been accurate). I left my car there to get fixed the next day. The mechanic, Will, ended up doing some extra investigating on common issues with my specific vehicle and tried something else. The next day it was done by 2 and was $57.00. This was such a huge savings for me and I am so grateful he took the time to get it right. I wont take my cars anywhere else from now on.

Got my rear brakes done. Was very happy with the work these guys done. 💯 I definitely recommend them to anyone that need work done on your vehicle. I called and the price was very reasonable compared to Jiffy Lube🙄. Thank God my daughter told me about this shop 💕

This place has always had below average customer service, but first come first serve repairs kept me coming back. Unfortunately it isn't worth it when they can't stand behind their service. I took my vehicle there to replace the manifold gasket, then they call and say that there is a misfire in cylinder 2 and that they "diagnosed" it to need new plugs, core, etc. So I agree to spend the additional money for the repairs. My bill exceeded $1,000 when what I originally took it in for was around $300. Well that didn't fix the problem and now they say I have to replace the cylinder head. I asked why their diagnosis missed this and made me spend hundreds on something unnecessary. The response was "that's what usually fixes it." Whay the hell are they charging people to "diagnose" problems when all they are doing is just guessing? Then they basically told me to take it to someone else. IF you have ANY options take your vehicle somewhere else. I have given them the benefit of the doubt several times, but the pattern in undeniable, all they do is fleece their clients. It isn't worth it at all!

Never go here unless you want to be ripped off. We bought 4 new tires and expected a free alignment as promised. When we went to pick up, they said we needed a $700 ball joint repair and would alignment after. We declined. Took the vehicle somewhere else for the same repair that cost us $350. The mechanic showed us the part, and it was still in good working condition. The repair was not necessary.

They gave me the best deals in my tires. My only complaint is when I'm spending 300 plus a tire I should be able to schedule a time and not have to equity wait. Otherwise, guys are really nice.

Called and got an estimate/quote on my vehicle for oil change brake pads and rotors. You know basics. They said $350 so I took it in. Next day it was ready for pick up. Got there and they charged me $612 with labor. I didn’t argue with them I just paid and left. Obviously I will never go back. And FYI I don’t drive a fancy car. It was a 2008 Malibu. 😑 so be aware.
