Went in to get brakes changed. Was brought inside the garage where my car was up and both wheels off exposing my rotors and how bad my brake pads were..was strongly encouraged and was highly recommend that o return to get the rear ones done the next month and was shown how much was left on the shoe...was the width of a pocket knife tip! Sounds like great service right? Spent over $300 for front brakes and was quoted $225 ..3 WEEKS LATER, MY HUSBAND AND I PURCHASED NEW BRAKE PADS AND DECIDED TO CHANGE THEM OURSELVES. TOOK OFF THE REAR WHEEL AND TO OUR SURPRISE, NO BRAKE PAD, NO ROTOR!! I WAS LIED TO AND THEY TRIED SCAMMING ME! I HAVE DRUM BRAKES IN THE REAR! THE MAN PUT A ROTOR OVER MY DRUM HOUSING TO COVER IT AND PUT A OLD BRAKE PAD ON IT TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THE FRONT...WE TOOK THE COVER OFF AND MY BRAKE PADS WERE THICK AND TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I WAS SHOWN! These people are scam artists and prey upon people who don't know any better! DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS!

Ok look I've been to allot of shops. But this place, stands out from the rest. Not only did they take care of my repair. I told them that I had to take a " Urber Ride " to take and as well as one to get home. The manager told me don't order one I'll give you a ride home. It will save you a little bit. I thought that was really nice of him, not saying going to do it for every body. So if you want good work done on your car this is the place to take it to. It's family owned and runed, the staff is real nice as well. I will keep going back to them for my car repair, so I hope you will to. A. Rockford

Have sent me truck here 3 or 4 times for brakes they fix it then a week later the same problem occurs have had everything in the brakes changed and it’s still messing up probably spent about 3k on just brakes

I previously had my brakes installed at a Ford dealership in Crosby and they did a terrible job compared to Star Brake. I've never felt my car stop this well, and there is zero brake noise. I will definitely come back to this place for all future brake needs. They even shuttled me to and from my house and the shop, so i didn't have to call an Uber.

Got my lifetime warranty struts today for my truck and I'm glad I did. The truck rides better than from being fresh out of the factory. Not only did they do a great job they took me home and picked me back up when the repairs were doing. Great job Star brake. I'll return for sure for future maintenance. Update: My new struts I got on my truck raised my front end high and when I drove at night I was getting flashed cause people thought my brights were on. A month has passed and I called them and they ordered a different strut and put it on and didn't charge me. Great service.

OMG. From the time I walked into this location on Lucas in Beaumont, I felt welcomed. I was greeted with smiling faces. My car didn’t take long to be pulled in once I got there. Cody was a pleasure, personable, thorough, and had no problem explaining and showing me as he explained what was needed. He didn’t try to bombard me with everything else I knew I needed done, but offered an estimation if I wanted. Good guy. And Ms. Nora was amazing. We had a meaningful and much needed conversation while I waited for my vehicle that didn’t take too long to get done. I was recommended by discount tires shop to go here, and I thank God I did. I just might allow them to do my much needed work on other areas of my car I need. Their service is GREAT, and I don’t believe they try to nickel and dime you like you would think most businesses try to do, especially if you’re a female. Give them a try guys. Everyone’s experience isn’t like your own, but I believe you won’t be disappointed! I am D. Jones by the way who came in for my brakes and rotors replacement. Oh and they come with a warranty that includes roadside assistance too. Unless u bring in ur own brakes, they don’t. But hey at least that’s an option too. Thanks you all.
