Charge $100 storage fee/day, which insurance does not cover. Took 5 days to give us a quote. Total rip off.

William Klee wrote us a bad check and has since been avoiding us for repayment. This is after we took a check from them out of good faith as we do not normally do it due to being scammed in the past. Lesson learned, stay away from these crooks.

Long story, but how can they tell AAA, they will be at my house in 90 min., around 5:26 am this morning I called AAA, never showed up, called them a little before 8, because they called and didn't answer when I picked up, so I called them right back. The lady there, at Star, said she didn't even have any drivers come in till 8am, that he was on his way to the office, then he'd be coming to my house. I told her no, I didn't want him coming. They advertise being open 24 hrs when they are not, and our mechanic has been waiting since 6am for us. No telling what excuses she was giving AAA, when AAA kept calling me , 90 min., turned into 7:20, then 45 min. More, then 8:15, which would give them enough time to get to my HOUSE AFTER they really opened. Would never recommend them to ANYONE!!!! AAA should fire them, and go with someone else. No way to run a business. Star has messed up our day, our mechanics day, who has been waiting for us since 6am this morning. False advertisement, saying your open 24 hrs, but your drivers don't come in till 8am. Wish Stepps had been contracted with AAA, they could of had me at my mechanics between 6 and 6:30, like I should of been. Was going to let them, but AAA wouldn't of reimbursed the amount back to me from Stepps. Bad business!!!!!!!!

Never Go To This Place. Very Dangerous And Smart Scammers. They Will Lie About What Day Your Car Will Be Fixed & Even Break Parts On Your Car. When I Asked For My Car Back They insisted To Keep Working So The Labor Can Go Up. Very Demonic Place You Guys. Don’t Waste Your Time & Money. Had To Call The Police To Resolve issue. Family Business Just in it To Take Your Hard Earned Money.

very conniving.. they don’t care about helping, they just care about making money. They broke a piece on my car and didn’t make me aware but wanted my money. They also said they put 20$ worth of gas in my car that I had to pay back and once I got my car, it only had a quarter tank, Smh. I’m all about supporting small businesses but please stay away from this place.

To start off they took forever to even come out and see my car so I could get an estimate. Then I finally get the estimate after a week or so, they come get my car and tell me it'll be a week or a little longer till my car is done. So they have my car for over a month and a half and I finally go to get my car and when I'm arriving they tell me it'll be another $100 which I don't just have laying around. I then go to leave with my car and I get half way down the road before it starts making all these noises and I have to go back. They have my car for another week I then go back and get it and everything seems great the next day my check engine light was on and it's started making noises again so I take it back. I got my car back on December 20 and every week I have to go back because my car keeps making noises. I actually had to go back today and they said I don't know what's wrong with it. I finally got tired of it and went to a different place because now it's interfering with my life.

This was the worst place I've been to in my life. The white man was very unprofessional and seemed to be racist. He knew I was on my way to get the tag off my car but when i got there he had me wating outside we told him it was about to rain & he still had us waiting outside. Than he came out bragging about how he works for TPD and has had a contract with them for 17 yrs. So he feels like he can disrespect ppl. Not cool he wouldn't be disrespecting no one if wasn't working for the police. Hope nobody else has to deal with these horrible ppl.

They did a beautiful job on fixing my Hummer. You can't even tell it was ever in an accident. The owner answers the phone (rare for towing companies) and very reasonable (also rare). I'd recommend him to anyone needing work done on their car!

Although the place looks a little if-y they are really good. They were there to tow my car quick and replaced my alternator for my car at a cheap price ($300). Again, don't judge a book by its cover. The mechanic and the lady in charge of pricing where kind.

I paid to park in ybor via the park mobile app based on my location and matching the zone number. Upon leaving an event the car was gone. It turns out that the car was towed because there was a glitch in the app and the zone numbers got messed up. The parking company and towing company acknowledged they saw based on license plate that parking had been paid for. The tow truck driver (Billy) brought the car back and was extremely rude and unprofessional. The lack of any business ethics or human decency is astonishing. I guess I shouldn’t expect much better from a towing company whose job it is to hold peoples cars hostage just to make a buck.

Ended up using this tow company when I got in an accident in tampa, the tow truck driver who I believe is the son of the owners offered to do body work that I needed due to the accident, it did take longer than expected but the price the charged me did seem reasonable considering what most auto body shops charge. I also brought down a parts vehicle and the used some of it to save me some money. So I'll say that while you shouldn't get the body work done it you're in a hurry I was happy with the end results and they could have screwed me but didn't and that's a lot to say now adays!

We actually watched them drive our car away and the parking attendant, when he saw us immediately start apologizing. Odd that you helped us park and pay, but allowed the vehicle to be towed. When I showed the tower that I had three hours left on my parking spot, she said ‘cool, I can drop it for $125, once it’s connected you have to pay for it’. I just want my car, so ok I got cards, no she only accepts cash, and drive off. Ok wow human decency and their yard is in an extremely sketchy area

The owners were very polite and friendly! Despite being closed, they allowed us to pick our vehicle up late at night. Amazing customer service, and honest people! Their response time was fast as well! Would recommended if you need a car towed. They were willing to help, despite being closed! The vehicle was in the same condition as it was when picked up. Great honest company, would defiantly recommend!

They towed my car in a parking lot that little to no sign visibility. It is important to note that as per the employee, THREE other people got towed at the same small parking lot and said they could not see the sign. He proceeded to say I was not looking deep enough for it. Extremely trash customer service and misleading company, bad reputation for honorable towing companies. Towing signs by this company should be investigated for placement as this is borderline ROBBERY.
