I honestly don’t understand why they have such high ratings. My husband and I have gone here several times now for both of our vehicles and every time we have the WORST customer service, not to mention poor car service. I once went here because of a check engine light and the next day it was back on. I do NOT recommend this business!!!! You have been WARNED!!! When I say bad customer service, I was hung up on after a long explanation that I never asked for, for why I haven’t heard about my car all day!!!

I was recently deployed to the Middle East and had an issue with my vehicle overheating. We had our car towed to Star Tech to see what was going on. Turns out it was the water pump seized up...they fixed the car $1300 later. My wife took the vehicle home and noticed a burning smell from under the hood. My father in law looked under the hood and could very noticeably see an oil leak on the engine. I called these jokers from my DEPLOYED LOCATION and explained my situation to them, how we had just gotten the vehicle back from them supposedly “fixed” and now we have this issue. My wife and father in law took it back to them after one of the employees telling me on the phone they’d like us to bring it back so they can “help” my wife get back on the road and outside of the house with my two toddlers. They helped me alright...apparently there was not one but TWO other things wrong with the vehicle...and it would be $2400 to fix them. Tell me you can’t see an oil leak on an engine when you’re working right in there! These are supposedly Star certified mechanics....Merry Christmas, and to all my fellow military counterparts at Travis STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!! They definitely don’t take care of their customers.

Great place. I was visiting my sick Brother at the Vacaville Hospital from Arizona and a brake warning message came on the dash - "proceed to brake shop" - and I freaked out as I was heading back to AZ in two days. My old shop couldn't get me in - so I tired Star Tech - and they had the job done in a couple of hours - same day - all new parts (front only as rear brakes were fine.) I'm extremely happy and highly recommend them.

I can't even remember how I came upon Star Tech since I've been bringing my BMW 330Ci for years to Don and his team to fix. Excellent service and best prices compared to dearlerships and other independent shops. One instance of honest work was when I was quoted by 2 other shops that the service would be over $2K. Over the phone with Star Tech, the quote was $1400. When I brought my car in for service and after they checked under the car, they said nothing was needed except to tighten a screw! No charge ... and it was 2 years later that the true problem did arise ... Star Tech honored the price they quoted 2 years earlier! I've passed out their business cards and raved about Star Tech to all my friends ... especially to my female friends fearing that they'll be cheated by unscrupulous mechanics. I brought my car in when I lived in Rio Vista (15 miles from Star Tech). I will be bringing my Porsche, and now I live 50 miles away in Pleasanton. Thanks Star Tech!

I just brought my 2004 Volvo S60 in to have some random electrical issues diagnosed .As they were unable to address my particular problem they did not charge me anything. They called me as soon as they looked at my car and saved me both time and money .Polite, professional and I will definitely return if I have any other problems that need correcting Plus they have a very sweet and handsome pup who greets you when you come in. I recommend them highly ; first impressions are important 🐕💖

I have been bringing my 2019 MINI Cooper Clubman here for 3 years. Drew always does a great job. He always writes up a detailed quote and explains everything before repairs. He is honest and will tell you if a repair is urgent or if it can wait a little while. He also goes the extra mile. He has filled up my windshield wiper fluid and changed out a taillight bulb without me asking and at no charge. If you're looking for a good honest shop, please take your car to Star tech.
