The best group of guys and only place I would trust to touch my truck. I went after having multiple transmission issues and they installed a stage 1 built trans in my 3rd gen Cummins about a year ago and have had no issues since. Jake was fantastic to deal with, my daughter had an issue with her Ram Eco Diesel which was tuned already, being from Canada and a long way from home I wanted someone I could trust to help her out and understood tuned trucks. He did what he said he would do, and did it well, no bullshit, highly recommend this shop for diesel or anything truck. If I lived anywhere near them I would be a regular.

These guys really are the best! I was passing through from Michigan when my truck ran into problems. Completely unaware of the area I came across these guys on google which seemed to have good reviews. So I brought my truck to them. Before even having any work done I could tell this was the best place I could have ended up. Jake went above and beyond to help me out. Without writing a book. I have to say these guys are top of the line. There are very few shops that really take pride in their work anymore. Your truck will not leave this place with out the job being done right. We need more places like this that’s for sure. Thanks again Jake for all the help. In the future I will be willing to drive a very long ways just to get my truck here to have work done.

On my way back home to Québec city, Canada from Florida my 2005 Dodge ram 3500 Cummins 5.9 With the Bigfoot camper on it had engine issues. Contacted State Line Diesel Performance, same day I was in the shop. They order fast a new the CP3 pump and one day after I was back on the road again to Canada. Sub par mechanics wasted $1900 with this company. They didn’t do their due diligence to find out why and how the injector failed. I ended up figuring out everything myself. Go to another company that can fix your truck the right way in a reasonable time.

I live in NJ and i have a f350 dually. I got stuck in South Carolina I called Jake for the first time and he fixed my truck. When I left to come back to jersey I got stuck again in Virginia he came the next morning to pick it up something that I’ve never seen. He got it bullet proofed for me with upgraded parts and he hooches me up. I drove my truck back with no problem. I've wanted to find a reliable diesel repair shop for my 2001 F350 7.3 PS for routine maintenance. While preparing for my annual cross country camping trip my transmission decided to dump some fluid in the driveway. Much better to happen here than in the rockies imo. My search for a local repair shop led me to State Line Diesel in Rockhill, SC despite being a hour away and after meeting Matt and seeing the shop I know I made the right choice. To some, the facility may look in disarray but as an aircraft QC supervisor I found it organized and staffed with experienced techs who actually care about their work and helping others. I would highly recommend anyone needing diesel maintenance to check out State Line Diesel. Their attention to detail and the special projects they build and sponsor convinced me I've made the right choice. I'll update my post after my truck is completed (diesel truck repairs take time) and I'm back on the road. These guys are definitely worth your time and business.

Honest review. Turbo replacement and new boost tubes added/grid heater delete. What i liked: They were able to get me in quick and worked with me on a timeline to get me on a trip. I believe that they know what they are doing and have the experience to handle issues with vehicles. They even put on new parts that had provided within my timeframe which is something that is hard to find. They are straight forward also which I think is a positive. What I wished were better: Communication of when things got in since I was on a time crunch and needed to know what I needed to do for my trip. The work performed was not complete once I got the chance to look at things, I found that my grill was not fully in place and none of the screws were tight, they were on but not secured. Once I got into the truck, new codes were introduced after the work was done but original code was gone. Come to find that the MAP sensor was never plugged back in causing them. I check the fitment of the parts, one of the couplers looks like it is out of the clamp allowing an air leak. Looking to the turbo itself, it is a brand new upgrade that comes with the a new actuator with it, now either it got some dirt in the time that I have had it or it is actually the original one that I had an issue with before which prompted me to come here. I cannot confirm that but it is working so I assume it is the new one, considering. These things are fixable but were overlooked, especially with coming out of repairs with new codes I figured there would be more commitment to service. They also kept my old parts that I provided so no core necessary. Overall understanding all of this, I still would recommend and come back here for my bigger issues. Things happen but they are good at what they do and get you back on the road!

I want to start by saying the mechanics that work for Jake, are great and try their hardest. Jake on the other hand, is horrible with communication and delegation. His people skills are non existent. Worst experience by far. Had my truck for almost 2 weeks, didn’t communicate about the repair on my wheel hub and one other thing. Never answers the phone or calls back with updates. When he finally answered he was hostile when asked if we could just come get the truck. Then we go this morning to resolve a problem Jake said he fixed, and he quoted $1,400 for something else. Told him to please call the warranty company first. Jake didn’t, went ahead and fixed it then called the company and cussed at them. Forced to pay out of pocket for something that the warranty would have covered. 10/10 do not recommend. Worst place and horrible ownership. All he cares about is money and screwing people over.

I was pulling my 5th wheel to Florida when I started getting engine light and trouble codes on my F350 dually as I was going through Charlotte around noon. I called State Line (15 minutes away and on my route) and Jake said stop in, we will look at it right away. There was plenty of room to back up my 5th wheel and unhook. Jake offered that we could stay there overnight if needed, he even offered to let us plug in for electric. They immediately diagnosed my issues. Jake communicated with me for approval and said they could get me back on the road before 5pm. We hung out in our camper and around 4pm Jake backed the truck up to our RV and said you're ready to get back on the road. I can't thank you enough for the immediate attention and getting us on our way. Overall wonderful experience with Jake and the team at State Line Diesel! We ended up making it to Fort Myers on schedule.
