All around best service! David was sent out to diagnose our AC problem and he pinpointed the issue and even double-checked himself to be sure. He also checked other areas to make sure there weren't additional problems. He explained everything so well so that I could understand the functionality of the system and where the problem was. A part had to be ordered and he said Stegall would send someone out ASAP. I requested that he come back personally. They managed to get the part, and David, back to our house for the installation the next day. So happy with their response time, their professionalism, and David's attention to detail and genuine friendliness. Thank you for getting us COLD air in the Alabama July heat!

My wife and I were out of the country when our condenser died. We called for service and they went out within an hour to diagnose the issue. Joe Rider came out the very next morning at 8 AM to replace our unit. He communicated with us the whole time so we knew what was going on. My AC failed on a hot August evening and I was looking to make a change from another Carrier dealer. Was able to talk to a tech (Justin) after hours who was helpful. Decided to wait till next morning and called before they opened. Was able to talk with a real person who could say they could schedule me around lunch that day (again, this is before they even opened). Joe called and was enroute by about 10:30 AM. Diagnosed a bad capacitor immediately, had the part on the truck and was done in no time. Also courteous and friendly. Price was reasonable and solved the problem. I plan to use Steagall for my Carrier systems in the future.

I’m a landscape contracting company that needed service very quickly. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with this company. My regular plumber could not help us with a problem we had on the commercial job. My contact on this project recommended Stegall Plumbing as they have done work on this building before. I called the same day and they said the technician would call me between 12 o’clock and 1 o’clock. He called me at 12:45 PM and said he’d be on site in about 15 minutes. They got a very simple problem solved for me in about 10 to 15 minutes. Very impressed with their professionalism and ease of service. I would highly recommend them and definitely i’m gonna use them in the future!

1-Star Review (Will Update If Resolved) I had a new HVAC system installed by Stegall on August 1, and unfortunately I have had problems with it ever since. From the beginning, my power usage nearly tripled, the system repeatedly ran when it should have been off, and the unit froze due to low refrigerant and wiring issues. I have now had to shut the system off at the breaker and go without HVAC over an entire weekend while waiting on repairs. What concerns me most is not just the problems themselves, but that I have been the one to identify every issue through my own monitoring and research. At no point has Stegall done a full diagnostic or performance test on their own initiative to make sure the system was installed correctly or operating efficiently. Each time, the response has been reactive, not proactive. I expected professional installation and follow-through. Instead, I’ve had repeated service visits and still don’t have a properly functioning system two months later. If Stegall fully resolves these issues in a timely and professional manner, I will update this review and rating. As of now, based on the installation quality and lack of thorough troubleshooting, I cannot recommend this company.
