Fixing things correctly takes time and time is money, they are fair and honest. We had a power steering leak that poured fluid all over our driveway. Had our car towed to the shop and had it fixed. Jason and Justin communicate well and take the time to explain repairs in terms anyone can understand. Recommend them to your friends.

I brought my truck in with what was an impossible or extremely time-consuming task for me to do and Jason & the Stingray team took on the project, diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts, and kept good communication while the parts were being sourced and installed. For an unscheduled drop-in with an unknown electrical problem they had me back up and running in no time at all. It wasn't the price I was wanting to pay, but was more than happy to pay it because I know had I tried to take it on myself I would've spent triple the time, may have caused more damage, and wouldn't have gone above and beyond to make sure all problems along the way were addressed. Overall great value & good service - WILL DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN FOR ALL OF OUR VEHICLES! Highly recommend.

This used to my go to shop for a while as I prefer to pay to local shops than chain stores, I even recommend this shop to many of my friends. I left my car there for sway bar change, which I had done before from another shop. The labor came out to be 1.5 hour, so I asked why so. The shop owner replied he had to take differential down. I told him that wasn't necessary, to cut it short it didn't go so well with him. I was also charged computer generated shop supplies fee which was conveniently 10% of total charge. Not going back again or recommending shop to anyone anymore. Again, I was standing and talking to friendly mechanic at shop in Raleigh when he did the same job, I know countless people who did it at home with a jack and no one had to move differential down. I even offered to put those aftermarket sway on another car I had (same model). I told him that If he couldn't get sways out from side and had to move differential down, I would pay the full labor he charged again. Edit: going through the reviews, I saw one response from stingray to one that said "Do we make mistakes? Yes.". But they get very angry if you say the made one.

Had a terrible experience. Some things were out of their control but they were also rude and combative with me along the way. And they never call you to tell you anything, you have to pester them to get an update. My work truck ended up in their shop for almost two months, including when they let me drive off with a faulty starter and had to get towed back again. I'd stay as far away as possible.

We've been trusting Jason at Stingray Auto with our Toyotas for years and years. He has been incredible - helping us to hang on to a 2002 Tacoma & a 2004 Sienna by advising, guiding, maintaining and repairing our cars as needed. He helps us decide what really must be done, and what we can let go. For years we've had warning lights come on in our van, and he has reset and reassured us over and over, never charging us for the diagnosis or the reset. We've saved thousands and thousands of dollars because of Jason. When we've needed big repairs, he is always willing to help us figure out how to do it in the most affordable way possible, and stands behind their work 100%. Stingray truly cares about its customers, its integrity and its high standard of workmanship. We've never owned cars with over 200K miles on them, but we do now, as we save for new vehicles when we need to get them. They are both running great, thanks to Jason at Stingray Auto!

Jason, the owner, has got to be the most honest shop owner that I have dealt with. I was ghosted by Plateau Motors in Sammamish after giving them thousands of dollars in business for 5 years so referred by my father in law, I limped my old truck down to Stingray Auto Repair for some kind of fuel flow issue that was beyond my semi-limited mechanical skill set. I was contacted by Jason after a couple weeks (I told him that there was no rush) that my truck was ready. I paid for the service and started it up and couldn't even drive it out of the parking lot. Jason confirmed that the problem still existed and pulled my old truck back near the garage. A couple weeks later Jason calls me and tells me that the problem wasn't what they thought and it is now fixed and my truck is ready to roll. I went to pick it up and pay for the additional work and Jason waived the additional labor and parts. I was amazed at the level of customer service. Good job guys. You'll have my family's future business. Big Blue now runs like she did 10 years ago.

This was my first time taking my car to Stingray. Jason made me feel at ease and didn't make me feel rushed if I had questions. I was able to get my car in and back fast. They completely fixed my a/c issues and it did not break the bank. Jason was very professional and personable which I like. Being a woman having to take my car into a repair shop, I always dread being made to feel like I am wasting their time. I did not feel that way at all either on the phone or in person. If you are looking for a new auto repair shop, don't hesitate to come here! I came here with a Groupon for a synthetic oil change. My car had been making these really loud noises, but not consistently. Thus, it was hard to bring my car in for repair. However, once the mechanic finished the oil change and started my car to bring it forward, it made the loud noise. He proceeded to fix problem, which took about 10-15 minutes. When I had inquired about payment for the fix, the front desk gentleman told me that there was no charge and that they would talk to a customer prior to performing service if there was a charge. They even opened up the front hood and showed and explained to me why the noise was happening - a pipe had been touching the AC/defroster fan. I was absolutely blown away by their customer service and ethics. As a female who isn't knowledgeable about engines, I left feeling confident I can trust these guys to treat me and other customers fairly. I wish I got the names of the two gentleman that were so helpful (a huge thank you!). Highly recommend!

These guys are fantastic. My 10-year old car started having issues for the first time ever literally weeks before I was due to drive across the country. Justin in particular was great and very patient with me calling up repeatedly to ask questions and check on things while I was stressed out. Brought in a car that had been accidently driven over a curb and I wasn't sure what damage had been done under the car. If I could give 10+ stars I would. This auto shop is so amazing. They are trustworthy and honest, they get the work done in a reasonable time, they are reasonably priced, and their customer service overall is great. They definitely care about their customers. It's hard to find a shop that you can trust. So many places will try to scam you out of more money, fix unnecessary repairs, or upcharge you. Not Stingray Auto. I recommend this shop to everyone I know.

I brought in my 1995 Corvette with a persistent check engine light, and they quickly diagnosed the issue as faulty knock sensors and a damaged wire. Even with my car being a bit of an oddball when it comes to diagnostics, they handled it like pros. Jason clearly knew what he was doing and had the tools to back it up. Spent a fraction of prior estimates and the car drives better than when I bought it. When you can’t find an honest shop come here. They’ll do right by you. What a great auto repair and mantianance shop just off the hill, Jason is an old school repair shop that quoted half another place and twenty five percent less than the Ford dealer. My Edge ran like a top after drivetrain fluids were changed...if you haven't given them a try I highly recommend giving Stingray a try.
