Stone's is great. There's not a lot of places to take a sprinter van for service or repairs. Unlike the dealer, they are will to invest the time to correctly diagnose what's wrong with my sprinter and fix it correctly. Their pricing is reasonable, service professional, and clearly experts at working on sprinters.

I took my Sprinter to its “First” service at MB Seattle, and got upsold from what I thought was supposed to be a basic $400 (quoted over the phone) “Service A” appointment to a $1,600 “20K mile service” that I later found out consists of mostly nonsense and/or minimum billable hours for inspections that are generally otherwise included at independent shops. It should be noted that I also waited an hour and a half for service to check the vehicle in after my scheduled appointment time. I’m just trying to do what I thought was right in having thorough proper maintenance and documentation for warranty reasons, something they mentioned MB looks at when approving warranty work, so I got sucked into the service departments misleading up-sale tactic. I left with suspicion that I totally got taken advantage of from the time I purchased (low maintenance costs/long intervals) to the moment I left after dropping it off for its first service. Fool me once… I called Stone’s Sprinter Service to verify recommended service intervals (something I should have admittedly done sooner) and also to see if it was common practice to replace parts that didn’t need to be replaced for any apparent reason (rear u-bolts as part of the 20K service). Not only was Stone’s extremely helpful in guiding me towards actual proper service intervals to achieve longevity with my Sprinter, but they were transparent with pricing and took time to discuss other questions I had and explain their recommendations. Stone’s went above and beyond, providing absolute confidence without the BS. I am thrilled to put the next 5K miles (and every 5K after that) on my Sprinter, not only because I absolutely love driving it, but also so I can support an honest, helpful, and ethical local business.

This is what service should look like. Service isn't always about making things 100% right 100% of the time. We are all human and sometimes life happens. When you see service really shine is how a business "makes it right". We had a bit of a scheduling snafu with the pickup date of the van. As soon as the owner learned of the issue, he called me explained (no excuses, just an explanation), an apology, and his plan to make things right. Stone's Sprinter Service will be my go-to garage for my 2005 T1N.

Stone's knows their niche in vehicle repair, and they do it incredibly well: professional, honest service, fair rates (especially for Sprinter van repairs), and communicative staff. I have been to the shop multiple times for everything from a transmission fluid change to repairs on my wheel assembly. Each time, they have done a great job. Garage manager Dylan is very on-point with communication for everything from repair timelines to estimates. If you're a PNW van owner or a van traveler looking for a reliable local garage, Stone's is the place to go.

I had an emergency break down on a Mercedes Sprinter that required towing to a large capacity shop. Lucky for me, I was aware of Stone's Sprinter Service that recently opened in the Ballard area that specializes in larger work and RV vehicles. They were able to get me in right away and the repair was done in less than 24 hours! I was impressed with the service and their ability to get me back on the road so quickly. Thanks to the team for a job well done!

We were lucky enough to be traveling through Seattle when we needed to get our 2006 Dodge sprinter checked out and stumbled upon Stone's. After going to 3+ mechanics in the previous month, these guys were able to correctly figure out what needed to be fixed and fix previous mechanic's mistakes. We ended up needing almost all our fuel injectors replaced and eventually the fuel pressure regulator as well. Diagnostics and labor were very reasonable, and they did a number of free diagnostic tests for us when the check engine light came on after the initial work was done. These guys are honest, really knowledgeable, and charge very reasonably for their services, a rare combination when trying to get an older, high mileage Sprinter van worked on. Cannot recommend them enough!

So relieved we found this place. We live in our van and this was no problem for the oil change service we purchased here. Our kittens hung out in the back the whole time as well, everything went smoothly and very timely. Only a 2 hour wait. From word of mouth I’ve heard the Mercedes dealership can take weeks. This crew is polite and careful and filled our back tires as a bonus. The price was half what Mercedes Sprinter wants to charge. Much thanks to Stones Sprinter Service.

Dylan and the techs probably hate working on my van. It's old, it's annoying, nothing is ever as simple as it seems. But I would never know it; every time I've taken it in to fix the latest thing that broke, they tackle it quickly and without complaint. Though they aren't the cheapest mechanic you could hire, they're honest and fast, and when the job is done, you've probably spent less money than the guy you're not sure if you trust that really needs your money. Even if I have to park my van until I have the money to pay for the latest fix, I will wait and take it here. Big thanks for all your hard work on my Sprinter guys, I really appreciate it!

I recently purchased a 2006 Sprinter and waited too long to have it serviced. Stone's Sprinter helped me recover after a surprise breakdown on the freeway. They've been generous with their expertise, time, and education. I feel so much more safe and confident driving my Sprinter after the diagnostic and repair work they've done. I plan to continue scheduling regular maintenance with Stone's Sprinter after how hard they've worked to help me with my van! Huge gratitude to the team.

Adding to the list of the 5 star reviews and cannot recommend these guys enough. Really. We brought our van in for one thing and it opened Pandora’s Box due to issues with a past mechanic. Each step of the way, they were as thorough and excellent as can be. Truly so knowledgeable, honest and helpful. And major props to Dylan! He has a lot of things on his plate but handles it all with grace, kindness, and humor.

Stone’s Sprinter Service was everything you want in a mechanic – professional, competent, and honest. But what made the most difference to me was their kindness and communication in a very stressful time. As I prepared for a 2000 mile move, several issues came up with my van. Stone’s Sprinter service worked with my priorities, budget, and timeline to make sure I got to my destination safely!

This is my go to shop for my Sprinter. The service I received here is phenomenal. I had some major repairs where Dylan and his team worked their magic to get me back on the road safe and sound. When an issue cropped up on me while being out on the road (an extended amount of time after the repairs), I was able to consult with Dylan over the phone to ensure I wasn’t being taken advantage of by another mechanic. This was unexpected and very appreciative. They are trustworthy and look out for their client’s best interest. Just today, I witnessed the integrity of Stone’s as one of his clients requested Dylan to get a part from a certain establishment. After they told him the price, he advised his client that it is steep for what it is. If you’re looking for an honest shop, this is the place!

The team at Stone’s Sprinter are the best! I was passing through Seattle and needed two small parts replaced, they quickly ordered what I needed and got the job done. They went above and beyond and did an inspection to make sure everything else was functioning properly - I so appreciate the thoughtfulness to ensure I am safe on the road. Thanks again!!

I was passing through Seattle when I discovered a fuel leak on my T1N sprinter. The Stone's team got me going again right away. Very professional and friendly staff. If I lived in Seattle this would be my shop. Highly recommend.

Stone's is amazing! We have several Sprinter vans in our company fleet and are so thankful to have Stone's as a resource. Every time that we have brought a van in for repair, they have been great with communication and on point with their estimating, both in terms of cost and time for repair. They have even found the root of some unique issues that lingered after having previous work done at the Mercedes dealership. In short, can't recommend them enough.

Dylan at Stones Sprinter Service is incredibly nice and knowledgeable! He kept us informed throughout the process about how things were going, different things they noticed about our Sprinter Van and any recommendations. We called 5 days ahead and they got us in for a trans and power steering flush. Total time was about 4 hours which he told us that ahead of time- so we decided to go see The Troll! We are so grateful for Stones and will hopefully be back one day!

This is as good as it gets. Got me a service appointment with only two days’ notice and they weren’t picky about time. They got the service done in only a few hours and were in contact with me the whole time. They even double-checked a few items for me that I installed myself at home and inspected all the bolt torques for a suspension job I did myself after I provided them with the torque specs. I’ve always thought “a good deal feels good to all the parties in the deal” and to me the price I paid was perfectly fair for the work that was completed and the information that Dylan, the service manager, gave me when I was asking questions. I cannot recommend Stone’s highly enough, and I will absolutely bring them my van for future work and maintenance.

I was experiencing some issues when starting my sprinter and putting in drive. Hard engagement when cold, and when really cold and brake is pressed when shifting to drive it would kill the engine. Also had some rumble strip issue when in cruise control at freeway speed. Thought for sure it was torque converter but no codes were showing. In comes Stone's Sprinter Service they found a bulletin from Mercedes and put it through its paces and so for so great! No need for a replacement torque converter. No rumble at freeway speed, no hard engagement when cold this morning. Piece of mind when I'm deep down a forest service road is priceless.
