Cons: -Poor communication - On once was I called to discuss findings. On an initial ~$3k repair as things came up I would have expected phones call to discuss additional hundred/thousands of dollars of work, not just a text message for me to review. They rely on an automated system that text messages you for your approval. I think this is pretty common, but when getting over $5,000 of work done I kind of expected phone calls to discuss what's going on. Pros: -Quick -Appear to have very in depth knowledge of Subarus -Thorough "free" inspection and report

Cannot recommend this place enough! They were very communicative and transparent with everything and quick to get me in for an appointment and look at my car. I had taken my car in to several other Subaru mechanics over the last year for the same issue, just to be told that nothing was wrong. Cole immediately figured it out and then went above and beyond to help me get it taken care of. Very nice and professional, will definitely be a returning customer!

So happy I found this shop! Mike who works front desk is amazing with keeping communication on point and caring. Technicians are knowledgeable. I’m very picky with where I take my sweet girl and their overall care was relief knowing she was in great hands. They had to troubleshoot a lot to help me with my car. Driving into Denver I hit a large piece of tire on the road. I didn't hear any noise and I didn't believe any damage had been done. Upon reaching my destination, I discovered a large piece of undercarriage hanging and dragging on the ground. I'm only here for the week and have to have my car. I googled Subaru in Denver and saw this highly rated independent shop. It was 1.5 miles from me. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to work me in. Matt was the mechanic that took care of my problem and I am so grateful! If I lived here this would be my go-to shop for my Subaru Ascent. Thanks, Subamotive!

I had a lot of things done to my 2013 Forrester. Control arms and ball joints, stabilizer arm and bushings, cabin filter replacement, oil change, front rotors and brakes, and a few other things. They do excellent work and Mike at the front desk is always very helpful and kind. As far as the pricing goes, it might be a bit on the pricey side (according to other people) but I didn't get other estimates. I wanted my Subaru in the hands of Subaru experts, and in the end you get what you pay for. I paid for great work/Service and I got it. There was a problem on one of the repairs with a bad part, and they were very quick to take care of that with a new part, of course free of charge. Car had sudden issues with coolant and a few other things we needed to get done, and Subamotive did a great job fixing them all. Love the automated system where each repair is detailed and shows the cost, so that I don't have to guess if someone's ripping me off. Actual, real-life, *honest* mechanic -- crazy right?! But it's true! Mike and his team are the real deal, no BS. Context: I have a 2014 Forester with 138k miles. Subamotive is committed to helping me keep my 'Ru going as long as possible. For example, I was recently quoted a $5k repair job -- Mike came up with a plan that saved me $2k upfront whilst still incorporating all of the necessary work now and into the future. Prior to Subamotive, my Forester went exclusively to Subaru dealerships for maintenance. However, I noticed that the dealership was less interested in helping me get my car to 200+k miles and *much* more interested in selling me a new car. Mike will be straight-up with you, he's going to tell you like it is, and he's going to work with you to make sure your Subaru lasts as long as possible. If you're on the fence, go ahead and call them now -- your 'Ru and your wallet will thank you. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Amazing company, excellent service, with a transparent, honest business man at the helm. Thanks, Subamotive!

Mike was very knowledgeable and very helpful in getting my Forester checked out and the CV axles replaced. I appreciated the extensive multi-point inspection and the detailed explanation I received from Mike when I called to ask about the estimate. They were very up front about the cost and why. They didn't try to "trick" me into anything that didn't need to be done and were honest about what they recommended be done now and what to keep an eye out for. They were able to get me in and out in one day even with multiple services including brakes and front CV axles. I'll definitely be returning for any other extensive Subie work I may need done in the future.

The guys at this shop are amazing! They did everything mt 2014 Forester needed within a reasonable time frame and were able to keep my budget in mind. The total was actually lower when I went to it pick up because they were so mindful of my financial circumstance. Their work was checked by another shop (taken in unrelated to SubaMotive's repair) who said they did a great job as well. Subamotive is a wonderful shop for your Subie! They really know their stuff!
