I have been dealing with sunset auto repairs for about 6 months now; I have had to return to their shop 5 times for the same problem. On our 5th visit there in steed of their work lasting at least a month or to, the car did not even make it 5 miles down the road. So the guy met us where the car broke and supposable fixed it. Now here we are not even 24 hours latter with exact same problem. Needless to say even though the warranty is not up on their work, I will not use sunset auto repair to attempt to fix the problem or anything els ever, and I advise no one els to ether

Great guy honest mechanic!!!! Really cares about people stay away from corporate ran shops and dealers who are glorified parts changers. Our A/C went out in our car and the dealer and other shops wanted to replace the entire system. I took it to Dennis at Sunset Auto Repair and he looked it over and it was just a small leak in a hose. He replaced the hose and we have been cool ever since. Thank you Dennis for saving me an arm and a leg.

We’ve used Dennis since 1995 and have never had a negative experience. He has ferreted out unnecessary repairs required by the dealership and been extremely honest and reasonable with maintaining our foreign and domestic cars. Due to manufacturers’ requirements Dennis cannot do all recall/warranty work, so we cannot use him for those services. With that said, we would prefer to use Dennis for all maintence work.
