I am very impressed by this place, I had a lot of damage to my car ($6,100) and was worried it wouldn't be the same after repair. I am happy to say car looks and drives perfect, Jeff is an awesome guy and kept me updated with the progress of my vehicle. They even finished it ahead of competition date. Upon pick up car was nice and detailed in and out. Highly recommended if you need any body work done!

I recommend! I needed to get a front and back bumper and two panels replaced so went around to get a bunch of quotes. This place was an add on estimate as it was recommended by a friend last minute. I am SO happy we took that recommendation! The people we worked with (shout out to Jeff) were not only friendly and knowledgeable, but they are the no BS type of people. They tell you the facts and don't fluff anything extra, which I very much appreciate. The price was the best we got for everything to be fixed and the quality of work done on the car was top notch. I would definitely recommend, and be a return customer... but hopefully I won't have to be ;)

I have used the Tag Collision center in San Marcos 3 times. The first time was for my Mazda 3 that had a small amount of damage to the rear bumper. They were able to remove and repaint the bumper in a day. I have to say I was really impressed with the quality of the work. The paint matching was perfect and the orange peel was like new. As the Mazda aged the original paint started to show some sun damage (car is about 9 years old). The Mazda 3 only had 100K miles on it and I wanted to pass it on to my son. So I decided to have the paint fixed so my son would feel like he had a new car. I did receive some quotes from other shops. I would have to say the Tag was not the lowest price quote. Already having experience with the previous repair I knew it would be a quality result. I was able to negotiate with Jeff to trim some of the cost and decided to commit to the work. I have to say I was really pleased with the result. The paint looked better than the factory paint and the paint color match was perfect. The orange peel was a little heavier than factory but was super shiny and had lots of depth for the metallic paint. I also have a Mini van that needed the front bumper re-painted and was waiting for the right time to have it fixed. Based on the result of the Mazda 3 I worked with Jeff to also have the Mini van bumper repainted the next week. Again, could not be happier with the result. One bonus is the paint has a great warranty. Jeff also told me to come back in 30 days and he detailed the car again. Thanks for the great experience. I referred our friend to have some work done and he was super pleased too.

Horrible company and horrible repair job. The insurance company recommended Caliber. They were honest and said they were 4 weeks out. TAG said 2 weeks so I took my truck there. Simple repair of a dent in the rear side panel. When I took the truck in they said they were behind and it would be a couple weeks more before they could get to it. Took them 2 weeks to do the repair and paint. Paint was really bad with large pieces of debris throughout the paint and runs do to overspray. They had to redo the paint job. 15 months after picking up the truck they call me to say there was an outstanding balance due. Horrible experience all around. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

She really knows her stuff when it comes to fixing wrecked cars. I had 3 estimates and TAG with Sabrina's help was the most thorough, making me feel comfortable repairing my car here. Horrible Tag Collision Center! I have never seen such liars as in this autoshop. I only needed to replace and paint the quarter panel, the car was running perfectly. After 3 weeks they told me that the engine in my car was broken and they could replace it for paying $$$$$. They broke the engine in my car and then wanted to rob me!

Not happy with this place. First of all, I was just in an accident and my insurance company asked me to get a quote. A woman in the front office called me and immediately got my name wrong. I asked who she was trying to reach and then correctly said my name. Then, she confirmed my appointment for my car and asked me to "pay right away" after I arrived. I spoke up and answered this was supposed to be for an estimate. The manager then said, "Oh, we can talk with you about the work tomorrow." Basically, this business came off pushy and greedy. I took my car elsewhere for repairs based on how I was treated as a potential customer.

I have not had a need for a collision center in many many years. I have also not had to use my insurance for an accident in many many years. Between my big name insurance company and the little no name insurance company of the man who hit me there was so much back and forth and stress. The team at Tag Collision along with Vanessa Castillo we're incredibly helpful. I was in and out of there a handful of times because of the insurance company. Vanessa was extremely patient and kind every time. She was extremely detailed when she took in my vehicle. She saw things I didn't see. She made sure every part of my vehicle was fixed correctly. When I picked up my vehicle, it was washed and the inside was clean. I couldn't be more grateful for their team making one part of this experience great.

100% highly recommended choosing TAG as your collision repair shop! I went through two other inspections with different shops before choosing TAG and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The communication that Joel maintained with me throughout these last 10 days was impeccable. He kept me in the loop every step of the way. Never left me in the dark about anything and in the end when I did have a minor issue he immediately jumped on the opportunity to fix it! That being said the receptionists are just as polite and we're easy to communicate with! Like I mentioned before I did have a minor issue that was quickly resolved! On the day I brought my truck back for the issue the technician himself came over and apologized for what had happen. I can't make this up the folks that work here are top of the food chain when it comes to customer service

Where do I begin... Geico recommended TAG after my a collision. It arrived in January, but wasn't complete until April-May... even after I picked it up I went back multiple times due to poor quality control. The alignment was off, they scratched my fenders, forgot to install bolts, forgot to install parts, didn't align the headlights, left tools on the leather seats and didn't torque down the suspension. To top it all off they incorrectly installed electrical cables which resulted in an electrical fire. If I didn't have a fire extinguisher the vehicle would of been toast. They blamed poor quality control standards, part delays, and said they were making changes. At the end of the 4 month experience, I had to take it to another place to get back on the road and functional. Avoid like the plague.

This is the second time in 2 years my vehicle has been damaged. The first time I chose TAG because they’re local and are approved by State Farm, my carrier. Vehicle damage last time was much more extensive. They exceeded expectations then, so it was a no-brainer to use them again. Again, TAG shined! They completed the work within the time estimate given to me at the start. The repair work was very high quality. The communication throughout the repair by Sabrina was excellent. Sabrina went above and beyond for me. A shout out to Lorenzo as well. Service, quality and communication like this all under one roof doesn’t happen by accident. It takes a TEAM of folks dedicated to excellence. Thank you TAG.
