I brought my car in for routine maintenance and was blown away by how smooth the entire process was. My service associate, Genesis was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. I appreciated her transparency and willingness to answer all of my questions. The team completed the service quicker than expected and walked me through everything they performed. Took truck there for oil consumption test because truck says add oil after 3,330 miles confirmed no oil on dipstick also. it’s burning more than a quart every thousand miles around 30,000 miles and when they started the oil consumption test, I had them do an oil change and they overfilled it to almost 9 quarts when it holds eight, And at the start of an oil consumption test the paperwork says that it has to be on the line , not above or below full line. The pictures show that it was full to the top of the dipstick nipple and the other shows at 1000 miles at almost halfway which is close to 2 quarts. I take it back a little over 1000 miles because that’s what they wanted done And they told me that it was only a quart low even though it was overfilled almost a quart, so I decided to not take it back and really considering not getting another truck from them because the service department seems like they’re doing some shady stuff to not have to warranty out of motor With the technology that we have nowadays you would think that a $50,000- $90,000 truck would not burn more than a quart oil this new. My 99 gmc truck has 353,000 miles on the original engine and burns less oil than the new truck

I have had the most horrible experience with Terry Labonte Chevrolet… first off I bought a used Chevrolet Tahoe 4 months ago, it started messing up on me I had to take it in come to find out it was a transmission.. after finding out I wouldn’t be able to drive it at all I needed a rental car, which is covered under my warranty that I pay for.. the dealership proceeds to tell me that they have 40 rentals and all 40 rentals are out so that they can’t help me but that I could rent one through a 3rd party (at my own expense) that didn’t seem fair considering I had already paid for this through my warranty.. so then I asked to speak to the “GM” Gene (which is a joke by the way) he decides he’s going to put me in a Chevrolet spark (tiny compact vehicle) with me having 3 small kids (the reason I bought a Tahoe was for extra room) I couldn’t even get my car seats into the vehicle.. after walking outside and still trying I argued with them for about 10 mins about how I couldn’t fit my car seats and 3 children in their small car they then “found” me a Chevrolet traverse (still isn’t comparable to a Tahoe as far as space)… But we made it work… fast-forward three days later, I got my Chevrolet Tahoe back drove it home for two days. It broke down on the side of the road with me.. I had to end up Calling the dealership back to let them know that I was on the side of the road where they proceeded to give me a towing company phone number. When asked to call this towing company I specifically asked if I would be charged for the tow bill and they said no it would be covered under warranty well fast forward to a couple of days later the dealership calls me and says your problem is a battery now and your warranty wont cover your towing bill. It’ll be $498 for the tow bill and it will also be $498 for a new battery… I explained to them that I could not afford that, I had specifically asked the Terry Labonte Chevrolet when I called if I would be charged for the towing bill and they told me no.. so needless to say my Chevrolet Tahoe is still sitting at the dealership a week and 4 days later because I cannot afford to pay them a $498 tow bill.. I have asked to speak to someone higher up than Richard and Gene but have been told his name is Chris and that he’s on vacation for 11 days.

I originally posted a very bad review and it was true, but as soon as I left the review Robert Thomas at the collision center here contacted me. He treated me with sincerity and honest effort. He worked with GM to still get my warranty to work even tho it was just out of the expiration date. He gave me a fair price for the repairs and did a very thorough job! His team was able to find another issue I had that was overseen before and help prevent a headache later down the road. Excellent service and great communication.
