Superb service. Brought in my Q50 to replace front axles because I was hearing some grinding noises when turning. They took the time to look over the car before replacing the axles to verify if something else might be causing the noise. They ended up finding out i had some loose steering rack bolts. They tightened the bolts down and the noise is gone. Saved me a lot of money Great people, highly recommend.

Nice shop but totally gave me a scam quote for a job, not sure if they didnt want to do it or what. HAd n Came in asking if they could take a look at why my car wouldnt rev over 2,500, issue is intermittent and it happened to be occurring when I went in and the guy didnt even want to walk about 20 feet to take a look or scan my car, I mean come on. Just told me to drop it off for diagnostic. Then asked for a quote for rear wheel speed sensors and was told $700!!! Quoting me $150 for each sensor. I showed the guy the parts listed online for $20 online and he told me its different for a shop. Time to stop being lazy and crawl under myself.

Professional. Honesty. Transparent. I took my 2009 Subaru Outback to The Garage in Renton for some regular maintenance + power steering repair. I found the shop via other reviews (Google + Yelp). I called several other shops in the area to get other opinions/estimates for the work as it was a substantial amount of money I needed to spend. I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with The Garage in Renton. Daniel was incredibly professional. The amount of work I needed to have done on my Subaru - I knew it would not be a small bill. Daniel spent ample time with me walking through all my options, never once trying to sell me on a repair or service. Instead he educated me on what needed to be done and why. He allowed me to ask questions and sort out all my options. It truly felt like he had my interest in mind. Although car repairs are not something any of us like to do - I can’t say enough how much I appreciated my experience at The Garage in Renton. I would recommend to my friends and family + will be a long term customer myself.

This was my second time coming to The Garage In Renton. I usually do most of my own maintenance and repairs on my vehicles as my experience at many other shops has been less than pleasant. I brought my truck in with electrical issues dealing with the abs system. I have been battling this problem on and off for several months. I pulled the codes myself and noticed the fault was with the front driver wheel speed sensor. I replaced the sensor and the problem persisted. I suspected it may be the abs module so I took it onto Jeep in Bellevue to further diagnose and repair. Two weeks and $300+ later I get a phone call that stated my front driver wheel speed sensor needs to be replaced despite it being a new part. I insisted that they further diagnose the problem and that I was fine paying additional diagnostic fees however, they were not helpful. I left paying $300+ to pull codes I already had access to. I decided to come back to The Garage In Renton and see if they could figure it out. They were able to diagnose the problem and trace the issue to a nicked wire upstream of the front driver wheel speed sensor. They had the problem fixed for a very reasonable price and In a timely manner . I will continue to do most of my own maintenance and repairs however, I will certainly be back with the next problem I am unable or unwilling to fix myself.

Dropped off my son’s car for an overheating engine. We had just recently purchased the car. My first visit and anxious about the 30,000 service maintenance for my Subaru Crosstrek. I usually go to another shop closer to home but their shop was on the way to work. Glad I did. These guys were totally professional, knew their craft and took care of my car without issues. The guys expertly diagnosed a more serious problem and were able to resolve it completely and very quickly considering the amount of work required.
