I’ve been dealing with a musty smell coming from my AC and had tried a number of things to address the issue myself to no avail. I went to a mechanic other than Thrive to get it checked out. They took a look, told me what they thought the issue was, wanted to charge me just under $200 to verify their hunch, and if their hunch was correct they were going to charge another $700 to fix it. I was skeptical so I called Thrive. They made time for me right away and told me to come on over. I went out to my car and discovered the mechanic from the other business (not Thrive) had somehow created a gap between the driver side door and the front side panel of the car. To their credit they addressed it, but to contrast the experiences here, I think it’s worth a mention. I drove over to Thrive, they used a specialized disinfectant to spray the intake vents after running the car for a bit to get the air flowing and only charged me around $40 bucks. So far so good. Don’t be like me, go to Thrive in the first place. Edit: I've now been to Thrive twice. This time to have my brake fluid changed and my hybrid coolant changed. Thrive took care of me in a timely manner, with great customer service and at half the cost of what the Chevy dealer would have charged me. Can't recommend Thrive enough!

The prices have gotten outrageous after Paul Stower sold it a few years back. Most reviews have the same quotes ,"great price" etc. they're fabricated reviews! The receptionist even boasted about how great they're google reviews are.... Here's a real review... They put in a "day-care" center for kids and give out "complimentary" coffee and Capri Suns and try and pass the cost down to the customer. I don't have kids, and those that do, aren't bringing them to the mechanics while they get they're car repairs. Paul Stower did free diagnostics. Thrive charges $140 just to tell you what's wrong. I wouldn't be going to the mechanic if I didn't know something was wrong. At least they refunded the 140 after I expressed my disgust. I passed on their $2800 quoted services. I got a quote for $1100 at Stongs automotive across town. Brakes all around and a new passenger side CV axel. Thrive tries to sell you things you don't even need. I would not recommend Thrive unless you like to overpay and fix things that aren't broke. -John R.

Highly recommend thrive automotive. They offer many amenities most other auto shops do not. Their loaner car was clean and reliable and no questions asked. Their service was top of the line and their communication was clear and frequent. Mariah was kind, helpful and understanding. One of the best experiences I've ever had taking a car to the shop, which I typically dread. Friendly reception. Excellent communication and setting of expectations. Honestly review cause I said I would. I have always had difficulty finding a honest mechanic. Chuys ripped us off big time and elsewhere. When we found thrive they gave us a quote for our first repair with them 50 times cheaper than Chuys then other mechanic shops in town. I name Chuys cause its the worst. We were so happy about Thrive. Everytime we had a conversation with the staff they were extremely nice. Here is why I am giving a 3 and not a 5. Good Work, But Getting to greedy. They tried to charge us $400 to replace a mass air flow sensor.. The mass air flow sensor on our car is right in the front. You don't have to move anything around. It would take five minutes to do. We had our alternator and our brakes replaced here, no problem. With our last repair, Just a few days ago, Thrive was gonna charge us almost $2000. I just found a mechanic that will do it $400.. honesty I used to feel from the shop. Recently, though, the prices have gotten very high. It’s starting to feel like they’re becoming just like every other mechanic—expensive, with costs that are hard to justify. I still believe they do solid work, i think they are a christian company but not sure. At these prices it’s getting difficult to continue choosing them. I hope they take this feedback seriously, because a lot of customers—myself included—value fair, transparent pricing just as much as good service. They did make it right by forgiving of our debt when they chose to no longer continue with our repair. And we are truly grateful. You guys have been nothing but kind. But unfortunately I will no longer be a customer because your prices are just becoming too much. Thats my honest review. Nice staff, nice building, Terrible prices.

What a super friendly staff they have at Thrive automotive. They make you feel like you’re part of the family right off the bat. They definitely have a gift of hospitality. Between the customer service representative and myself we laughed and joked for 15-20 minutes before we even got down to business. I just went in for an oil change and they inspected the car from the front bumper to the back bumper. The inspection was so thorough it humbled me. The Inspection revealedthat my motor mount was broken and I had no idea whatsoever that it was broken. Thank God I went to Thrive automotive. I going back to Thrive Automotive to have my motor mount replaced. They had sent me a flyer in the mail and they stuck to the price right down to the penny. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I’m looking forward to going back real soon. By the way I do not work for Thrive Automotive nor did they pay me to write this review. LOL

Took my truck in recently and had amazing service. So when my Ford Explorer started acting up, I brought it in to Thrive. They listened to my concerns, and were so welcoming and gracious. They do a thorough inspection no matter what the original issue is. They fixed my car, and prevented some other lingering problems, allll while not pressuring me to complete some other non-emergent issues. Thank you to the awesome mechanic, pleasant front desk customer service, and great company all around!! And they have great partners for financing repairs if you arent prepared for your Ford Explorer to throw a fit and break down 😁

I recently bought a car from a dealership about 2 weeks ago. We were leaving for the coast the following morning to see our grandbaby. I felt a slight vibration on my driver's side and periodically smelled a drop of oil. So for precaution I wanted it checked out. I took it to Thrive Automotive because I had a great experience with their Churn Creek location. They provided honest transparency and inspected my whole car. I was blown away at their findings. My car wasn't even safe to drive let alone take on a trip to the coast. Full communication was so appreciated. They discovered issues that were not disclosed to us by the dealership. They treated me with such care that I would recommend Thrive Automotive 10/10 every time.
