I would give this place zero stars if I could. I brought new tires into Tire Barn to get them mounted and balanced. 30 minutes of waiting in the waiting room and the tire technician steps into the waiting room and asks me to step into the shop so he can talk to me. Turns out he had scratched my rim when he was taking the first tire off my rim and told me that “I can proceed to take your tires off but it may keep scratching your rims like this” the damage had already been done at this point. So obviously I told him to stop, and he put my rims and tires back on my truck. They were going to charge me $50 a tire to put them on. Quality pricing for me to come in and get my rim scratched and not even be able to get my new tires put on. No, accountability. They didn’t even say sorry or offer to fix or pay for the damage. I took my business to Discount Tire and I was in and out of there in 10 minutes! They even use the same tire changer as Tire Barn and didn’t have any problems with my rims! Not a single scratch. Tire Barn will damage your property and not take any accountability. Please do not go here. Terrible service and terrible quality.

Came in this morning for the warning of low tire pressure. Even though Derek is confident it is related to temperature decrease of these days, he and crew took down the tires and thoroughly checked the condition to make sure all are good. Without any charges. Very helpful and friendly. Really appreciate the caring and efficient job well done. Also thanks to Melissa!

The woman working in the front was not very friendly. I told her I needed a tire rotation and wheels balanced, which came with the package when I bought the tires and she started complaining in a rude tone that they don’t make no money off of that and pretty much she was tired of dealing with people coming in for a tire rotation and balance Although, this was included when I purchased the tires. They pulled my truck under the bay and could not get the front tire off. They said the lugs were bad and the only way they would do it is if I went and purchased all new one.. So I told them I will go home and break the drug nuts, free and bring it back and so did. the left front was harder to get off, but I believe the gentleman trying to remove it had his gun set wrong and he was tightening versus loose so I let him know upfront. I did go home and just used a 4 way lug wrench to break my lugs loose and let him know I believe he had his gun that wrong on the left front. And she continued to say that was no way that could happen because their gun is easy to use. And I said it all impact guns are easy to use either loosening or your tightening. So this experience at the tire barn was the worst experience I have ever had very disappointed and she did not represent your company well. Just a bad apple and never had any problems here till now.

Such wonderful people!!! I had a medium sized screw in my tire with only 5,000 miles on the tire. We had talked to several other places that wanted to just replace the tire for $220 to $317. Derek and Melissa were able to take care of it in about 10 minutes and were so incredibly kind throughout the process.

I hit a large piece of metal on the freeway pulled over the tire had a big hole in it. I found the tire barn online and took my car there actually, it was towed there by Royal Roadside Towing another excellent company. From the very beginning when I made the first phone call to see if they could fix the tire and if they had that type of tire. They were nothing but professional and personable. It’s good to know if something like this happens and you’re by yourself it’s nice to know you can call a reputable place. They took the car right in and did a fantastic job. Not that I wish that anyone blows a tire on the freeway with no spare, but it’s nice to know there are still good companies out there with professional friendly people to help you in your time of need!

Had an appointment at 10:00 arrived at 10:15 left vehicle till 2:45 occasionally driving by to see if it was completed. Watched other vehicles being took care of but they never pulled ours in. Went ahead and took vehicle and left. Called to speak with the manager Brian who sounded irritated and I explained the situations and instead of apology or solution he offered excuses. Told me they were behind and still working on an 0800 appt when we arrived and had been playing catch up. Said he had went out there to help when I ask him why he didn’t call and let us know it was running behind and give us an eta. There is a literally a woman who works the office he could have had her call the customers. There was one guy out working out there. There was no mention that they were running behind when we dropped it off. This was some very poor customer service. I ask him what he was going to do to make it right he said if you bring it back right now I’ll go out there and do it personally. This was even worst because one I had to ask for a resolution, it was not offered. Two he sound irritated and I even said at one point I’m sorry you are frustrated at which he snapped back I am not frustrated. He had some form of irritation in his voice. So after doing business with this place for the last several years from rotations, tire swapped, and new tire purchased our business relationship over. I would suggest anywhere but here.

Arrived at my appointment time at 1:00 pm and waited then waited some more. It was 1:21 when all tires were iff and vehicle was inspected. Finally at 3:32 pm over 2 hours later i was paying for the tires as the lug nuts were being torqued. They Thought it was incredulous that i ask them to relearn my tire pressure monitoring system. Then as I left and pulled into Walmart one of my center caps fell off. It was broken during the process and taped together with electrical tape in hopes that I wouldn’t find it right away. Took pictures opened a case with their corporate office Monro which as of yet has been no help. If they had just simply told me about it right then because accidents happen I would’ve been okay with that but they chose to try and hide it. They proceeded to tell me when I went back yo buy one and they would reimburse me kinda wanting me to fix their mistake and pay me for it. This was a two for one transaction. My first and my last time dealing with the Tire Barn in Kingsport, TN
